I don't know where you're coming from, but my advice to people with such a problem is that they should start lifting (as I did when I encountered the same problem). It's possibly the easiest hobby you can maintain once you get it into your life. Just focus on good form, eating well before and after workouts and you'll be fine for a while. If you are to follow the /fit/ memes, prefer SS (Starting Strength). People will recommend SL (Stronglifts), but it was made by a shitskin with questionable experience. I fucked myself up on SL and trashed it. SS isn't excluded from this though, although it was made by a very knowledgeable guy (he's made a book on the topic you can torrent) you can easily fuck your shit up on such a low amount of sets and reps. I believe there are better routines out there, you just need to do some searching and figure out what's best.

My personal experience is, I'm still a noob but a few months ago when I started doing shit in the gym I was put on a program that had 4 muscle groups (e.g. abs, chest, back, triceps) when training each time, with 2 exercises per muscle group (with the added warmup and cooldown run before and after each workout respectively). As I progressed, this changed to 3 muscle groups (e.g. abs, back, triceps) per workout, with a total of 11 exercises (including of course the warmup and cooldown runs). Smaller muscles got 3 exercises, while bigger ones got 4. Hope this helps.

undergrad+medschool+residency (you might be breaking even for the period in the resudency because you do get paid but still in the hole from the previous years) is how much time?

Looking over this ^, it seems like only the Asian religions have a major foothold in today's world (Buddhism and Hinduism in particular). Religions that ignore Jews altogether, utterly rejecting them and their god in the process.

I personally respect Japan in general (the country least affected by Jewish shit imo) because 1) Buddhism (an Indian religion, sure, but at least it's not an Abrahamic one) and Shintoism (their own ethnocentric religion, as seen on their country's flag) are the prevailing religions there. Keeping Jews/Christians/Muslims from amassing political power. And 2) it was never infected with Communism (another shitty Jewish ideology) like many of its Asian neighbors did (China, North Korea, Vietnam).

That said, I'm interested in knowing any drawbacks and criticisms that people might have with Buddhism. To me, it seems like it has the good aspects of Christianity, minus the Jews. Gautama Buddha also seems to be a good moral example, from what I seen so far. Just to clarify though, I don't plan on strictly adhering to it and becoming a monk or something. (Most Christians don't become priests; most Buddhists don't become monks.)

Some people say that atheism is good alternative to Abrahamic religions, but I disagree. You can't fight something with nothing, and many politicians in secular societies will still adhere to one religion or another.

I was just wondering if Buddhism might be the answer I was looking for.

I'd say the historical Vedic religion (original "hinduism") is best. Buddhism teaches that being completely snuffed out of existence is ideal ("nirvana" means "blown out" in the sense of no longer existing). It's a dull view of the world.
