A number of days ago some whatsapp messages started doing the rounds regarding a so-called “announcement” that will be made in Cape Town regarding self-determination. We did not pay much attention it as we could not find out who the source was. On Friday evening, however, the Head of Information of FN was approached by a man who claimed that he was previously involved in a group who has been working secretly underground for months and now plans to declare a unilateral secession of an area consisting of the current Western Cape, Northern Cape, parts of the Eastern Cape and Free State. The informant was very vague about details and said he could not immediately provide information as he “had no data”.

Our legal advisor, who is a senior counsel and expert on constitutional law, consequently this morning cautioned that such an act, without a prior mandate and in accordance to applicable legislation, can be interpreted as an act of treason and that Front National should have no part it in at all.

Now we have learned a number of things over the years. This won’t be the first time that a hair brained scheme without any legal foundation is cooked up to land innocent people in the jails of the current government. We have the example of the Mangaung Trial, the Boeremag etc. This won’t be the first time either that a mockery is made of the process towards Afrikaner self-determination to make us look like redneck fools and putting the process backwards for another 10 years! Inevitably, the people behind such a scheme operate under fake profiles and equally inevitably, there is a foreign connection.

On Sunday afternoon, 24 September, an announcement was made that a document was signed at the Castle of Good Hope declaring the area mentioned above as “The United States of Good Hope” in the name of the Khoisan King, Khoebaba Calvin Cornelius III. Co-signing the agreement were “representatives” of the Afrikaner, the Eurokaner and the Coloured Nations. None of the signatures were accompanied by a recognizable name. A new flag was introduced and the agreement stated that all the four nations will in future be subjects to this King.

1 As Afrikaners and as political party we emphatically deny that we have given any form of mandate to any person to act on our behalf. The Afrikaner is a proud nation with a history of 300 years struggling and gaining its right to self determination under a Republican form of state. A unilateral declaration subjecting the Afrikaner to the authority of a King, who might or might not be, a legitimate leader of the Khoisan people, is a gross and unforgivable insult to the Afrikaner people and is utterly unacceptable. 3 Self determination is a matter of constitutional and international law, protected by the United Nations, the International Courts of Law and numerous other protocols, treaties and agreements. It is inconceivable that you simply declare one day: I represent a nation, I declare self determination and now we are subjects of King Cornelius.

We became even more concerned when we learned that the Africaner Society already issued a press release distancing themselves from this matter and referring to a “violent attempt at secession.”

Front National decided to investigate to find out what was happening here. We already formed the opinion that another attempt was being made to cash in on the desperate situation of our people and misguide them for one purpose or the other.

It did not take our IT people long to discover the foreign connection. The “news site” created to distribute the news, called CCN, is a fake news site created by a person living on 14455 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona, USA. Even the telephone number was available. We now know who that person is.

The news was further aggressively promoted by a woman who operates a well known Facebooksite and who hinted in the past that she might be in a position to facilitate communication with the US government. It later transpired that she was a junior staff member in the White House in the extremely liberal Democratic Party administrations of Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. She also freely admitted that she has no knowledge of the Afrikaner or their history, but is merely “interested”. This “interest” now suddenly started sounding very ominous.

These two women we now call “The two roses” based on the presentation of their Facebook profiles.

Another reason for concern, if not a dead give-away, was that the announcement was made in the Name of the Lord God Almighty. This is almost always used to trick a religious nation into anything! People almost always soften up when something is presented in the Name of the Lord and that in itself is an utterly condemnable and objectionable thing to do.

It did not take very long before a statement was issued by the driving force behind the whole story in Cape Town. This man has presented himself in the past as an “Irish engineer” and operates under a fake profile with no recognizable pictures. We know his full name and details. He was also one of the signatories on the document signed at the Castle of Good Hope.

In his statement, this man claimed that the document is already in possession of the President of the United States, mr Donald Trump. This is not the first time that the name and position of president Trump is used to try and claim legitimacy. In January of this year we exposed a fraudulent scheme in which money was raised for an alleged visit to president Trump, which was then proven to be utterly untrue and fraudulent in nature. That action then also ended up by raising funds for building a church in the Name of the Lord! We are not going to fall into the same trap again! The “Trump” connection we immediately linked to “The two roses.” We know that the claim regarding mr Trump is utter nonsense.

The statement then refers to a “peaceful secession” despite the fact that the wording (misspelled and grammatically very poor) of the original document signed at the Castle on Sunday, is clearly not indicative of a peaceful secession and might easily be regarded as an act of high treason. That a peaceful secession was intended is also a reason for dispute, as we are in possession of the transcript of another conversation by this person in which the following words were used: “End goals to push out the ANC, EFF, BLF…absolutely…end goals to get rid of political parties…for sure…end goals to kick out all these foreigners….” etc. Most certainly anybody who wants to get involved with an underground organization freely voicing these goals, however noble they may sound, must realize that he is on the brink of committing treason and taking innocent people into the abyss with him.

The statement further denied that the news site, announcing the secession, was fake and created in Arizona, despite the evidence which we have provided to the contrary.

The statement furthermore claimed that the Cape Party, The Afrikaner Society, the VVK AND Front National were approached to support the act. It even claimed that FN then intended to secede the Cape afterwards!!!! This was apparently, and outrageously incorrectly, deducted from an article published by us a while ago in which we reminded the readers of the historical agreement between the Khoisan and Crudop of the DEIC in the 17th century guaranteeing the right of property to the Dutch Free Burghers in the Cape Peninsula.

We confronted the author (the fake profile of the “Irish engineer”) and in his defense he claimed that he had a personal meeting with dr Dan Roodt of Praag who approved of the plan on behalf of FN. This despite the fact that dr Roodt has had no involvement with FN since September 2014!

Roodt’s stature and standing as an academic and activist would deliberately pretend, for the whole duration of a personal meeting, to represent Front National, when he has no standing to do that. This we dispute in the strongest of terms, as will, I expect, dr Roodt himself.

In conclusion:

1 The so-called secession of the United States of Good Hope cannot possibly have any legal or constitutional grounds
2 The co-signing of such a document on behalf of the Afrikaner is illegal as no person has been mandated to negotiate such an agreement

As much as people overseas think there's a literal war going in here atm there is not.
