Guess being a brainwashed lunatic isn't that bad after all. Also, you can change your faction settings to manual and be the only one who can declare war and shit
I've not seen that setting. Is it an in game thing you toggle with warfare options or a file you have to edit in the config?
It's in the insert menu, if I remember correctly is in the first column, second row. Mess around with the buttons and you'll find it

So, I'm willing to give this series another chance, as I didn't like it too much when I first played it. I'm going with the first game, but I'll need to know more about what patches and mods are mandatory. Nothing too crazy or fancy though, I want to play it as it was intended and my PC is a fucking toaster.
