Taleworlds, the guys who make Mount & Blade, seem to be pretty cool guys for the most part, although it kind of sucks that owners of the original didn't get a discount on Warband. I know that your Warband code works in the demo for the original and lets you play the full game, but I don't know if it works the other way around.

Rockstar I guess? They kind of fucked up with GTA:O but nobody is perfect. I heard the people who made the GTA series, the Houser Brothers, are pretty cool. They're both libertarians. If I had to think of anything unethical they actually did I remember reading about how they actually payed Christian news publications to spread false controversy over GTA V or some shit. Their games aren't the best in the world by any means Red Dead Redemption might be u there though but they have some damn talented programmers on their side and the polish and stability of the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine is a testament to that

Are you aware that they could've just released GTA:O as a standalone F2P game and still gained more money off it than GTA V alone? The only reason why it isn't is because the singleplayer of the game is mediocre, albeit has lots of attention to detail. Too much in fact, to have a great game. On game level it's just a downgrade from IV.

They buy up the rights to long since abandoned games/franchises that have been available for free for years and sell it bundled with either the latest fanmade patch (that they did not make) or with a copy of DOSBox with a semi decent cycle rate so it isn't a completely laggy piece of shit, and then proceed to aggressively go after any site that still hosts DLs for said game and said patches.

They profit entirely off of the work of others while denying people the ability to freely play games that no longer support the devs, and they only do so because of legions of fucking retards too stupid/lazy to apply a patch or use a fucking frontend like DFEND, both of which take literally 60 seconds to learn and to do.

Have you rode anything other than sport bikes? I ride an old suzuki UJM and I was thinking of switching to a sport bike but I don't know if there's anything that i should know beforehamd

I started on dirt bikes, mainly XR Hondas.
The main thing to remember with sports bikes is everything is touchy, it's easy to grab too much brake or throttle. I also highly recommend getting oggy knobs (pics related) because you will drop it at some point.

Just be careful when you start getting good because that is when you push too hard and this happens. I got lucky and only ended up with bruises.

Croteam is notorious for some of their copy protection measures, some of them so goodi t's actually worth pirating the not fully cracked version to be dicked by giant invincible red scorpions or puzzle dead ends.

Honestly I feel that reserving judgement until they actually release a game is the smart move here. Nordic isn't really known for publishing many good games and has published Painkiller Hell and Damnation which is trash.

I never said that publishers today are great, infallible entities. I said that before 2007, publishers were good at pressuring devs into not getting too extravagant with their ideas or too far removed from their deadlines.

Publishers today are shit, I assure you, but indies are arguably worse. With the rise of Kikestarter and other such 'funding platforms' that sap money from the consumer, Indies are now able to make their games on your dime and then charge you for the privilege of maybe getting a nice shirt or an OST out of it as well.

Then you've got early access, which is charging you for the privilege of being an alpha tester. It's gotten so big that the cancerous publishers of today are starting to explore that idea. Make no mistake, many of the modern failings of publishers can be traced to Indies.

That's not to say all indies are bad, of course. You have the occasional Kikestarter that actually ends up with a nice product, but still. It's almost as if the Shit Publishers are starting to get more creative than today's "Indie Scene."
