Voting is underway in the 2017 general election happening today Sep 23rd
Quick rundown
National - The incumbent centre-right party have done an ok job of managing the economy but have sold the country out to the Chinese and have allowed in heaps of third world trash. Labour - Career politicians, public servants and centre left cucks New Zealand First - Led by the excellent Winston Peters want to reduce immigration and foreign ownership Greens - commies Maori/Mana aka Black Lives Matter
Will the Greens get less than the 5% threshold and get knocked out? Will based Winston Peters hold the balance of power?
Counting begins in a few hours. Who did you vote for user?
Which group of dickheads do you guys think we will be stuck with for another three years?
Camden Myers
Rolling for a National-NZ coalition.
Elijah Long
Rolling for a National-NZ First coalition. Greens and Labour always do worse on election day than in the polls.
Joseph Howard
Neck yourself.
Zachary Rodriguez

Asher Myers
my money is on a beehive full of corrupt nepotists. i voted ban 1080 and NZ first, tho
Jordan Adams
Lets give based half breed our energy.
Parker Wright
Is Labour really as bad as everyone seems to think? They want to cut immigration at the 2nd highest rate of all parties as far as I'm aware (NZ First being the highest), so they don't seem like globalist fucks at least. They seem like they'd do a better job than National, not that I voted for either. Obviously Jacinda Ardern was the leader of that international socialist group thing though.
Jose Cook
jacinda is a third way neoliberalist pushing marxism. Yes, they are as bad as they seem. worse, even
Brody Green
So Winston Peters is the trump of new zealand?

he's no Trump, unfortunately. but he is our last best hope. before an earthquake leads to the loss of most of our population and the volcanoes retake auckland.
Liam Bennett
Bleak and grim
Leo Reyes
bleak, grim, and preferable to what (((they))) have planned for us.
Gabriel Jenkins
Slow thread, how come NZ anons?
Cameron Gray
Been working. I got some time off to vote at 11am, no line and it was an easy in and out within a couple of minutes. I voted for based Winston and the Conservatives as NZF doesn't have anyone in this region. I managed to pull along with me a few friends who weren't originally keen on voting. Had to make it as easy as possible and gave them onthefence to decide who best aligned with their views
Noah Foster
NZfirst 2 ticks to save us from the commie pricks
Carson Wood
So you fucktards are as (((civic))) as the britposters here? Nice image, thanks for clearing up any doubts,
Nicholas Diaz
you mean, us fuckers are overrun? yup
Hudson Rivera
Someone give a rundown on which parties are running and how poz'd they are? I'm not expecting much regardless of who wins (Brexit canceled, Trump's campaign promises blocked by judges and congress), but at the very least we could potentially enjoy a bunch of leftist salt when their commie loses the election.
Well it's no Trump vs Clinton affair for us here in NZ today. Despite the manufactured dramas during election season, this really isn't much different to the last couple of election cycles. Nothing much to report other than "I voted" until this evening too…
Robert Lewis
Colour me surprised. At least Winny is beating the Greens
Michael Barnes
Winnie has the power, perhaps he can guide us to safety, between the oppression of the red and blues
Camden Morales
all I wanted was the destruction of the greens. they're having their election party at a bar up the road I kinda want to go along and IRL shitpost
Gavin Foster
today i voted for CENSORED
Julian Adams
Looks like another NAT/NZF win. Great, another term of our entire economy being propped up by dairy farming.
Bye bye waterways, I would have liked my children to be able to play in our once beautiful rivers like I did.
Robert Myers
They're all a bunch of faggot middle management cucks and sellouts. Peters is just Clinton lite in the way that he's been involved for decades and got fuck all done like the rest of them.
Don't consent to be governed. No confidence is not being on the electoral role.
By getting in debt 10bn or so after we had a surplus from the labour faggot govt Greens are a bunch of commie faggots. No one legalizes anything. Taxes always increase. More gibs. They all sell out to the gooks, foreign buy outs and kike banks.
Fuck the lot of them. Two elections ago, less people voted than those who did not, because of this level of bullshit choice e.g. fucked, more fucked, assfucked, or fucked and a reach around.
Local sov. Not a kike controlled, illegitimate govt.
Jace Foster
set the fucking party up then. we want something to believe in
Brandon Hall
I doubt it would work through traditional means, as you'd basically be campaigning to remove the corporation 'Her Majesty the Queen in right of New Zealand' from any 'lawful' governance. The cucks would just claim muh nadzees and muh regime. It would take years of planning and huge rural support/tours Trump style to turn the sheep/city faggots with mass consensus. The people are definitely ready across the spectrum though. Even people who vote natlabtional don't like the govt a majority of the time. Been on my mind for a long time but need to dig more at how such steps are accomplished. It would basically require removal of the entire government structure and replacing it with an entirely different system. Very few people would have any idea of how to accomplish it. Easiest is just set up an alternative but then the old 'system' is still alive.

Man who is even fucking voting for National? I Interact with a lot of the public in my job and almost every single person is fucking sick of National.
Angel White
chinks, farmers, etc, I personally only know 1 person voting for them and he's a fuck wit. Get ready for the Jacinda nuts to blame misogyny in the coming weeks.
Nolan Thomas
They didn't get my party vote ACT did, was thinking about NZF though but in my electorate everyone BUT the National MP is a complete fuckwit (the Nat MP is also kinda shit but w/e) so they got my electorate vote.
At least we aren't looking at 4 years under Labor.
Jayden Flores
Unfortunately the government doesn't take no for an answer, the vote of no confidence was removed from the ballot for a reason.
Yep, fuck the government in general. I suspect that if we held a referendum tomorrow to abolish the current government and move to something like what Switzerland has (or just outright abolish it) most would vote yes.
Political parties are inherently status quo. Luckily though you only need ~3% of the population to invoke change… if you know what I mean :^)
Protip: our economy is going to change rapidly over the next half decade or so.
Cooper Peterson
Checked Then a true/only vote of no confidence is to not be on the electoral role, removing consent to be governed. Most people are not aware of this social contract so just 'sign up to avoid the fine (kek)' and don't vote.
Perhaps we tackle this in a few ways. Get a referendum going to vote 'no confidence' and include that in elections. The next season, then run as the party representing that ideal after much research. I do like the idea of abolishment referendum however a gaping power vacuum also needs a plug, so the ground work would have to be in place.

Tourism will plateau soon, so many faggots coming here now it's just crowded to fuck at any touristy place, so much so I don't bother going hiking to any of the usual tourist traps. Hate seeing all the foreign faggots shitting the place up. All the shitboxes they are building and foreigners coming in are killing any identity and green space left in major cities, thus reducing appeal.
Tourism will self regulate and I can't wait for that swing to happen. We should really be shitting up tourism related sites and complaining of overprice, over crowding, theft/break ins, no green spaces left in cities/urban areas etc, lack of public transport.

This is sovereign-citizen-tier thinking, as I said the government doesn't care about your LARPing. The only thing the government respects is violence, unfortunately violence (more specifically the ability and willingness to do it) is the only thing which produces actual change when it comes to politics.
You want to change something? get ~5% of the population to the point where they are on the verge of picking up arms and voting from rooftops and THEN you can start to actually change things.
What needs to be done is to first inspire people to become strong again, 100 years ago most people would have been just fine if the government disappeared overnight but today most people are weak and lack the sense of self responsibility and internal moral strength required to live in such a society.
Cities are containment zones, you shouldn't live in them if you can help it.

>net is (((officially))) 70k+
>implying there are mainstream nationalist parties in CY+2 that aren't (((civic))) Get real, nigger.
Do it, faggot. There is nothing wrong with fucking around with the Greens. Just wear a condom first :^)
Do it, faggot. I mean this as sincerely as possible. Your "no consent to be governed" larping doesn't work when the state points its armada at you. Get the public referrendum up and running. Build the meme and spread it, grassroots style. Late 2018, build and present a petition and give it to any MP to present to parliament. Your best bet is an NZF MP because their belief in publically initiated referrenda. If it gets defeated, try again late 2019. Make the meme bigger. If all goes well, the no confidence referrendum will be paired with the 2020 election, then you'll see, at the very least, how many no confidence voters there are first. The electoral office counts votes in a single column if there aren't votes on the other column and are marked as informal votes for whatever column is being counted at the time, so they wont shouldn't get thrown out.
Again, I'm saying this as unironically as I can be. Do it, faggot.
Caleb Cook
At this time results are almost final - Maori party has basically come undone, its votes ironically cannibalized by the Labor Party (A move akin to black people defaulting on dems in US.) There were a handful of other minor parties that have also been btfo by falling short of the 5% vote threshold. Thus parliament has been reduced to 4 parties. Two major, more center parties (National and Labor) and two much smaller parties which lean further left/right. If a major party does not secure enough of a vote threshold to be a majority on its own, as often happens in the NZ system, coalitions between parties are formed to meet that threshold. This gives importance to the smaller parties. National has fallen short of the threshold, but has still gotten more votes than both Labor and Greens put together. Greens, the leftist small party look to be having 7 seats down from 14 from the previous election, were almost knocked out.
This leaves New Zealand First with the ability to play kingmaker by making a deal with either National or side it wants to push over into a coalition government with - to push certain policies through with the power of majority rule whoever it is they form a coalition with. It's extremely likely we are going to see an NZ First + National coalition, leaving both left parties as the opposition. Labor MPs have called Winston Peters (himself half-Maori) racist, and Greens make him out to be some kind of doomsday candidate because of his tough stances on immigration. He really was New Zealand's Trump in this election, though has been a big player in the political arena forever. A mainstay career politician with a long history of playing kingmaker and looking out for national interests (NZ First itself a party that was born by splitting off from National for not being national enough, basically.) Also a general right-leaning contrarian and troll. For instance, voting against racist policies that favor the Maori minority, despite himself being Maori, makes him a generally bigguy/ourguy. Winston Peters is the resident kingmaker who leans right in what is a generally left-leaning country.
Winston Peters wants to put forward a referendum to get rid of token Maori seats, which tends to unfairly guarantee additional left siding votes. This is now very possible because of the Maori Party's obliteration - amusingly enough Labor's aggressive campaigning against NZ First only resulted in would-be voters for the Maori Party jumping ship to try and secure a lead for Labor. This gambit failed horribly, and cost them their minority party with soon their token privileges they will not have majority vote to keep. Animosity, infighting, and finger-pointing is to be expected for the left as to what went wrong here.
Among criticisms against Winston Peters is his being at odds with the Libertarian party (Act, which got a single seat for its leader to technically stay a party but is otherwise mostly irrelevant.) Act almost always sides with National on everything because of their shared value of supporting small businesses, trade, and incentivizing home ownership. Winston Peters/NZ First opposes motions on these fronts often when they conflict with his nationalist perspective. Notably, the hot issue dubbed 'the housing crisis' means you're better off if you own property, and National supports this with Act cucking to National - the left parties hate this. NZ First also hates this but on different grounds to the left parties - Winston Peters supports home ownership but wants it to be New Zealanders over foreign Chinese investors, who National tends to sell out to. The left parties meanwhile want to curb the Chinese investment too but also want to usher in more immigration that makes the housing crisis worse anyway. So NZ First is in the position to say "Ok faggots, impress me." And it looks like we'll see National compromise on its selling out before we see Labor+Greens compromise on their cucking to migrants.
There's things to disagree with Winston Peters on for sure but he's ultimately the best bet for right wing nationalism for New Zealand and has been for decades. He likes and agrees with Trump on immigration and nationalist 'we do us, you do you' stuff, and cuckservative haters need to appreciate we're a long way from having a Ron Paul in this country with even half of Winston Peters' credibility.
Robert Gonzalez
My bet is we will see Peters as deputy PM and National conceding immigration and quite a bit of foreign land ownership policies to NZFirst. As far as I am aware Peters has already stated he doesn't want to work with Labor/Greens and their campaigning against him has probably cemented that.
Despite foreigners buying up land the housing crisis is really bank driven, NZ banks have so much housing debt assets that if things go bust they are fucked and so are shilling for the bubble to keep rising. The easiest way to fix the crisis is to cut red tape to building new homes and significantly cut immigration, supply and demand.
Joseph Young
A coalition involving NZ First is really the best outcome that could have occurred, so even though it means National gets yet another term as the dominant party (not that Labour would be any better) I'm pretty happy.
Levi Thomas
Yeah there is a lot of red tape for your average NZ permanent resident who just wants to build a home with money they've saved up and doesn't have great connections or anything. City planning along with public transportation here is an embarrassment when compared to the rest of the developed world - you're right that we definitely need more development in combination with immigration reduction. This won't magically make housing cheap overnight anyway but will take significant pressure out of the bubble and drastically open up the market to see things level out.
Yes in terms of working with what we've got this definitely is the best outcome, and the liberal tears on social media reacting to the election are delicious as always.
Liam Cox
What the fuck, that's the cuckservative/lolberg open borders party. I cannot understand why a Holla Forumsack would go for them over NZF.
Tyler Russell
They're commies. All commies are globalists. They may be placating voters with "reduced immigration" (they know immigration is a major issue) but I guarantee that means "refugees are a separate category and we are going to bring as many 3rd world shitskins in the back door as we possibly can"
National and Act want to bring in super rich asians etc., Labour and Greens want shitskins.
What do people think the chances are that Winnie will go with Labour?
Jayden Jenkins
All the Green voters I know are now abandoning labour and hoping that they'll go with National. Nationals immigration policy with the Greens refugee policy would be worst case scenario for the country. We need a Nat + NZF government.

So Lad's, we've all had a day to soak it in, what are our predictions for the following days / weeks / (months if Winnie is going to dine out & boost Wellingtons hospitality 10x fold) ? Personally I think >Nat / NZF is our best bet, (((Stable economy))) + 9 seats should get us most of what we want, reign in immigration (strict control of ‘family reunion’) , Stricter sentences, superannuation reform (stop chinks from exploiting the family reunuion + 10 year rule) overseas ownership of land / property. No change in gun ownership etc Lab / Green / NZF - to many conflicting ideologies, Lab / NZF can agree on drop in immigration but with Greens refugee policy it really throws a (((spanner))) in the works. Nat / Greens - to me this seems like our worst enemy, Globalism ++ Attached is the greens rundown on refugee's, the full policy is here greens.org.nz/sites/default/files/Green Party Refugee Full Policy Wording.pdf (archive.is wouldn't work sorry) Im tired and going to bed, if anyone wants to continue with the discussion on the best plan of attack for /nzpol/ keep this thread going. On the off chance that labour gets in I think it would be best to use their (((free tertiary education policy))) to learn as much as possible so if anyone whos interested can form some kind of Nationalist party after Winnie is done (he's basically done in the next 3 years, lets be honest) Will cross post this in the other thread.
Justin Bennett
If you get Nat/NZF you'll probably get something similar to what we got in Australia with LNP/One Nation, hopefully better. I think NZF is bigger and has the more competent figure head in comparison to One Nation though. Your PM also isn't a jew like ours is and will hopefully be more sympathetic to Winston's objectives. With any luck you'll get more out of it than we did with One Nation such as Winston getting deputy PM. All One Nation has really accomplished is forcing the Liberal party to pander to the right just a little bit. Hope it goes well mate.
Aaron Cruz
So what was the results?
Noah Miller
Nats have 58 seats, Act have 1, Greens have 7, NZF have 9, Labour have 45, IIRC. Now it's up to Winston to decide the next government or James Shaw if he's really ballsy and pulls a Nat/Green coalition.
Grayson Morales
Bumping
Winston Peters will be making his announcement next week as to who he goes into coalition with. That's not worth making another thread for when there's already this relevant thread up to fill anyone in on what they might want to know.
