I just did a playthrough of ME1 and 2 and it didnt stuff up, although there were a fuck ton of bugs i didnt notice before, luckily none of them were game crashing but i quite a few of the enemies i killed went spastic like in a bethesda game

Yeah, I enjoyed the multiplayer, it's far for perfect: guns, attachments and perks in RNG lootcrates. I wish the guns would level up based on the number of kills you make with them. It's quite fun when you find people who play as a team (spamming biotic explosions is quite nice) with or without mic.

The PC version of ME3 is even worse. I don't know how they managed to make a 3rd game that looked uglier than the first one and they even took out a lot of features.

Let's remember that the game automatically draws and hostlers the weapons for you because BioWare were too fucking retarded to figure out how to properly manage system memory.

This is the first thing that I hated in ME3. In the previous ME games I always liked to holster the weapon and look at the skyboxes or random shit.
They also decided to fuck up the menu by putting the mission logs in the same folder as the codex.

What I'm really mad, and not just because of BioWare, but at the industry in general, is how nobody seems willing to be a copycat.

Amount of ammo for missions costing money. Requiring some wandering around and grinding to take missions seriously. Pointed out early that there is no option for resupply once mission starts and enemy might not have usable weapons or inferrior weapons.

No tollerance for cowardice in alliance. Sent where that is a death scentence. No reporters, no shrinks, no jokes. Highly strained people making the right decisions. Which are no sacrifices. People do that on their own against orders and their efforts unacknowledged. All live or all die. Obviously more selfish people have better ideas on what should live, especially when it seems all will die.

No, really. Same dude was an edgy Player Killer in regular dot hack. The whole game's theme is about growing up and becoming mature, so eventually he ditches it for gay armor, then badass edgelord armor, then a holy hacked-in angelic costume representing his growth as a character as he Advances in his job class. His first costume is belt ridden because it's literally something a kid would find "cool" and not only that, it's based in a stylized MMO where having normal clothing is a rarity by default because have you seen a japanese MMO?

Copy cats flooding the market killed the industry in America last time. There also seems to be a certain amount of fostering of brand/IP loyalty, which would get fucked up if someone went and made a similar game that changed enough to not be an outright copy.

The last thing is that it isn't a guaranteed success. DD did well, but that was because it had an interesting combat system, fucking awesome spells and was generally fun. However, Xenoblade Chronicles X tried the open world stuff, and was a fucking mess of a game even beyond the terrible localization. Part of it was that it couldn't decide if it wanted to be a JRPG or an open world game, which led to such brilliant things as Lin getting stuck in your party because of one or two lines, or the equally thrilling commanding officer that doesn't do much commanding. The open world end didn't do so hot either, since it flagged missions on your map seemingly at random, and would lock you out of some missions seemingly at random as well. This was especially bad because the side content that wasn't fucked by localization was definitely better than the story content.
