Nope they really are serious about it mind you most on the Aut-right are between 15-17 years old

This. They're just generic turds that joined a new fad. They never read a book in the lifes, they never listened to a symphony.
They just spend their time on Holla Forums saying generic garbage.

if I recall correctly, Holla Forums's average age is like 19-ish

It's pretty funny tbh. It's like a journey into the mind of an alt-rightist

it's autism from all the vaccines their single mothers gave them

Which would indeed make it older on average I also tend to find far more oldies on lefty/pol/ than I ever did on Holla Forums

...

...

I'm 30 and I'm still waiting on getting started.

31. Finish uni in 8 days…

Murdoch is objectively a crazy fool.

It's early to mid-20s, Holla Forums, we go over this constantly.

That's only for Stalinists. The average faggot here is 20 something, in college or graduated, and employed.

I already have an MA. Maybe I should go back to Uni. Gives me a sense of purpose. Maybe I'll try to move to the USA, see if we can't kick shit off.

I'll have my second BA in eight days. Can't wait to be done with academia and get a "real" job.

...

wtf are you all talking about

First the Soviets would've gone for, since they usually tended to be concentration camp auxiliaries.

Yup, that's about what I expect. Unless I can live off breeding and selling ornamental fish, plants, and corals (protip: I can't). Or local scale food and/or drink production (meats, fruits, berries honey, beer, wine, cider, perry, and so on), if I can even save up enough to get myself a large enough plot of arable land.

tfw 29 and i'm shitposting while working

fug.

31. My life is already over.

What a faggot.

Cancer? Crippling debt?

Holla Forums demographics are a lot more diverse apparently.

who knew ?

wew

Where were we in this meme war? I didn't even get any hate whitey bux from Soros?

I'm sure he's one of those guys that pulls tard rage when some oen does the same to his stuff

i wish i had them good soros dollars

then i could go back to shilling cultural jewish marxism anuddah shoah and make big brother look like small acquaintance

Holla Forums merely preaches national-socialism, Holla Forums practices it

why is this guy's voice acting such shit ?

Murdoch isn't one person. It's three.
See: reddit.com/r/altright/comments/56osr4/we_are_murdoch_murdoch_ask_us_anything/

Also 31 user, but what's the worry? I have accepted that I will be an eternally bohemian devil-may-care leftie and I'm looking forward to everything to come.

lel

Except it was actually like 23

Super autism, it is intriguing to watch because you get to see how twisted the alt-right vision of the world is.

Honestly, we need our own version of it. I like the presentation and how well-made the videos are.

That and I can honestly see having an Alfabusaesque "What if Marx had a Text-to-Speech Device" after watching "Last Son of the West". Marx would be the perfect for the "old dead guy gets revived and complains about the horrid, corrupted state of his movement" role.

But yes, it does get autistic, especially in the "MUH GULTURAL MARGISM" parts. (And the Nazi larping, but hey, that's the Alt-Right)

GG, you triggered me!

The graphics are ripped straight from other media, then poorly photoshopped - often times not even colour corrected. In the process of ripping these graphics they are often poorly cropped out, causing borders to appear, or worse: cut-off graphics. I could fill an entire post about everything this talentless hack does wrong on the visual end, so I'll move on.
The recording quality is abysmal and the few effects that are decent quality are clearly taken from elsewhere (and even then most of them don't go beyond freefx quality). Let's not even speak of the ear bleeding terrible pronunciation and utter lack of voice etiquette. spoiler: VOICE ACTING TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO GET GOOD AT
The guy still hasn't figured out you can easily apply machine animation to still images - and not only that: you can also copy said animation to other elements of the video. The editing is uninspired and jarring on top of that, often cutting at the sharp edge of a line. The perpetual jumps cause viewer whiplash. Many scenes end prematurely or there is not enough room for the punchline. What little is decent is just decent - it's mechanical drivel without any ambition.

So there you have it. The visuals are trash, the video editing is awful and the audio is utterly terrible. The only thing that could save it is amazing writing or insightful commentary, but we already know that is not present either.

Fuck you, Murdoch's videos are abysmal in quality. Some of it isn't even excused by the tard being an arrogant newcomer who doesn't know anything about video, image or audio editing - or recording, voice acting or the mechanical arts. There are mistakes in there that even a complete newbie would be able to figure out - like how to animate still images, or how to use an interpolation algorithm to stretch an image.

For a complete opposite to this garbage, compare If the Emperor had a Text-to-Speech Device (where your image is from). It has a similar style of image editing, animation and video editing, but it is miles better in all departments than anything Murdoch has ever produced.

If you insist on being a dense motherfucker who hasn't made a creative piece in their life: go watch the The Last Son of the West and come back. Nobody can defend the nadir quality that is the last third of that trash.

but he appeals to my spooks :c

The Last Son of The West was indistinguishable from a fucking parody. They literally turned feminism into a demon and made the protagonist fight it with a sword.

Imagine if at the end of watchmen, hierarchy as a concept turned into a real-life person that the main characters beat up and called a meanie poopie-face.
It's like they're fucking 5.

It's called post-post-irony, get with the times.

newgrounds flash is better

What the fuck am I watching

Look at this
DOES THIS LOOK WELL-MADE TO YOU

This one was pretty good, not gonna lie.

The closest they've ever came to questioning the racial purity spook.

it's autistic, but sometimes is funny. atleast someone at that channel understands comedic timing, and a few of the gags are funny, even self-deprecating, but most of it is unintentional humor.
there are also irredeemably unfunny portions of it, but what do you expect from nazi flash cartoons? and that "Last son of the West" Video was just total cringe all the way through.

If you were guy with no experience making video content wanted to at least make a video somewhat watchable where would you start?

I definitely agree that IETSD is FAR FAR better in every way possible. Nothing compares to that. It's literally professional quality.

I just find videos of that style to be "well-made" compared to say a game commentary video or a let's play. It takes a crap ton of time to make animated videos. (Hell, Alfabusa takes 3 times the time and double the staff to make his videos. And, I edited videos myself. Nothing complex, but enough to know how hard it is.)

I'm just comparing it by generic Youtube video standards. (Alfabusa's stuff is downright professional tier.) Honestly, any animated video is going to be relatively "well-made" compared to most Youtube content, unless you literally use MS Paint to draw stick figures and move them around at 5 frames per second. (And, I've seen crap like that all over Youtube.)

But go ahead, beat their shitty videos with better ones. I just liked the basic idea of an animated series based on political memes, and sometimes the jokes they used. I encourage you to do better.

Again, "What if Marx's Corpse/Ghost had a Text to Speech Device"? You can even have Proudhon or Bakunin make appearances.

But still, gultural margism is the dumbest meme ever and needs to die.

isn't cultural marxism a buzzword referring to the application of marxist dialectic to all aspects of culture on the reccomendations of the Frankfurt School, as the main method of criticism of western society?

To be clear: my rant isn't against an inexperienced someone making something. It's against an inexperienced someone making something, gaining a ton of followers only because this creator panders to their spooks and then the creator and their followers acting aloof. There are a ton of youtube editors and commentators that are woefully unappreciated, yet provide much better material. Allow me to list a few!

That disclaimer aside, my advice would be to just make stuff. Nothing happens until you swing the bat. This is vital. Always make shit, even if you end up not liking it – you still made it and that is what is important.

To give a more substantial answer;
- Make a lot, so you build up experience and internalize the process;
- Read a lot. Don't underestimate the power of theory, even in the arts;
- Be open to information and don't be stubborn. Wasting a week fixing an issue that could be easily solved by looking at other peoples solutions is a week of not making things.
- Make things you want to make. If you make stuff that you don't really want to make, you will just end up being miserable. Don't underestimate how easy it is to fall into this trap. I have experienced the scenario wherein someone gave up because 'it wasn't fun anymore' way too often. Don't let shitty clients and/or not enough time dictate your creative endeavours.
- There is a widespread misunderstanding in the illustration world which dictates that spending a lot of time on something is bad. This is false and doesn't apply to most creative fields. Although it is obviously better if you can do things faster and maintain quality, but making things quickly should not be the end goal of your process (unless you are practicing hand drawn animation, but I won't cover that here).
Take your time and put a lot of love in what you are doing – and you will become faster merely by practice. This is especially true when you are just starting: take your time, get your bearings, don't get into the fad of "I have to work fast, because time = money".
- Fake it until you make it. When watching films, animu or even youtube videos, keep your eyes peeled for things you like. If something catches your eye, try to reverse engineer it all the way back to what the creator was thinking. Then copy it and make it your own. (Commentary channels, like RedLetterMedia, can be a big help here, as these are - at least in the case of RLM - experienced professionals providing veteran insight in bite-sized chunks.)
Fun fact: from self-report study taken from first year illustration students we can conclude that the students with a leg up, had a headstart because they copied other artists when they were young. Our brains (or for most of us at least) are exceptionally good at learning by example. Use that to your advantage – especially in the almost-glorious age of almost-open information.

As a side note: don't quietly take criticism from people, merely because they have more experience than you. Anyone with less than 2 years of experience in any field is a complete beginner. Anyone with less than 7 years of experience is still in the learning phase. It isn't after 7 years of hard work that we can even begin mastering the field – and this is just in a single medium (paint, pen, ink, etc). I can't imagine how long it would take to become quality at the whole of audio & visual.

Get a video editing, special effects, yadda yadda program, like Sony Vegas or Adobe After Effects. I use the latter. Also, if you are on Linux there is no solid video editor. Sorry, it can't be done at this point - it is the only reason why I still dual boot windows.
Get an image editor that allows for saving images with an alpha layer. Id est, get something that allows for transparent layers. You will need this to properly cut, colour correct and otherwise edit individual graphics. GIMP is free and works on every OS under the sun. If this still isn't a possibility, both Vegas and After Effects have image editing tools build in. I use Photoshop.

Included some lit for you to read. Basic, but broadly respected, animation textbooks, one of the tippidy top best works on framing, composition and so on, as well as the single most important work on colour theory you can find anywhere and anyone who says otherwise is wrong (Gurney's Colour and Light isn't about colour, it's about light and lighting).

MAKE SHIT AND NEVER STOP MAKING SHIT.
I WILL HAUNT YOU IN YOUR SLEEP IF YOU DO

The human brain isn't equipped to process more than two information sources at once. Not only that: didactics teaches us that information is taken in better if the information sources appear similar.
If you want to have insightful commentary, do voice and text. This is why schools of all brasses still use powerpoints and boards. The still text is reinforces what is said. (Mind that alternate forms of information dispersal are best wedged WITHIN text & speech segments, as this enables and stimulates different personalities and thinking types. Hence a wacky physics professor would best separate the explanation segment and the presentation segment.)
This is why a commentary or explanation is best kept simple and shouldn't constantly have graphics flying over the screen or bizarre sound effects. Or why directors that are serious about making a high brow film tend to have slow pacing and a lot of dialogue.

What you seem to be aiming at are entertainment videos with a leftist or philosophical bent. In which case I know of at least GentleGinjeet ( youtube.com/channel/UCxsTGZwXW7WhlS-jFBGj4qw ) and invite others to post creators they like.

It's surrealist garbage, you fools.
Straight from the horses mouth.

The thing that gets me the most is that he rips off fucking anime to rally for Western ideals.

better version

It makes sense but it still annoys me that buzzfeed found the biggest millennial turd to make comics about the millinean zeitgiest.
