Here comes carbon credits

More than 1,200 global businesses, including U.S. companies such as Disney, Shell and General Motors, are moving to embrace a carbon price. According to the World Bank, governments in 42 countries and more than 20 cities, states and provinces have either put a price on carbon or intend to do so.

bout 80 firms in the United States have a price on carbon and 130 plan to do so in the next two years, according to the CDP.
Some companies may choose to do this with a carbon fee, assigning a sum of money to CO2 emissions. The revenue will often be used by the business to fund emissions reduction measures such as purchasing renewable energy or boosting energy efficiency.
Others may use a “shadow price” – a hypothetical cost applied to CO2 within a company. Although this doesn’t involve handing over any real money, businesses can use it to inform their decision-making, such as when to invest in a low-carbon alternative.
Microsoft implemented a carbon fee in 2012, ranging between $5-10 per metric ton of CO2. So far, this revenue has enabled the company to reduce its emissions by 9.5 million metric tons.
Disney adopted a carbon fee in 2013, ranging from $10 to $20 per metric ton of CO2, using the money to offset its emissions with forestry carbon credits. Ben and Jerry’s, operated by Unilever, uses an internal carbon fee of $10 per metric ton.
Companies using the shadow pricing approach tend to place a higher value on a metric ton of CO2. Shell applies a $40 per metric ton cost to all the emissions resulting from its investments, while BP applies a $40 per metric ton price to any large new projects in industrialized countries.

HOW WILL THIS DO ANYTHING TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING?

HOW WILL THIS DO ANYTHING AT ALL BUT LINE THE KIKES' POCKETS WITH MORE OF OUR MONEY?

Kikes have been kvetching about "global warming" for over a century. Look up old newspapers, you'll find decade after decade of "the polar ice caps will melt in 5 years". It's an ancient scam at this point.

In reality
Does the Left ever get fucking tired of assisting our own fucking impoverishment and oppression?

why have i not heard the pope got scammed :D

I hate kikes so god damn much …

I'm glad I gave up drinking carbonated beverages. I assume those will soon be illegal.

Wonder if Trump put an end to this shenanigans, Beck would finally shut the fuck up. Doubt it tho.

Wouldn't meat will become expensive under carbon credits?

Yes reducing the amount of protein intake for the goyim is a prime directive for the kikes.

We can take advantage of this by buying up land all across the Nation. Preferably in contiguous plots, then selling the space for reforestation. The advantage other than making a little money is that 'we' now own large swathes of some of the best parts of the Country. Then 'we' decide who can live there, this is potentially the best way to 'cleanse' large areas and convert them to being predominately White. and perhaps even growing the power of our own movement as the property would not be sold but leased out

peak oil

Gas raises, carbon gets MSM popularity

It's happening

Kill all niggers in Africa and the Global Warming problem is solved.

It does literally fuck all, it's to lower living standards so that we're reduced ever more towards a top-down economy where everyone is working for a jew-dominated multinational corporation.

If we just stopped the 15 biggest cargo ships on Earth from ever operating again, the impact on the environment would be literally 10000000000000000000000% bigger than any government ploy to starve goy wallets from the chump change remaining on them. But no, apparently feeding garlic to cows (yes, Al Gore actually proposed this to reduce methane emissions) and taxing CO2 an amount upper-middle-class people wipe their ass with are much bigger priorities.

Oh yeah, we'll all just buy up all the land. It's that easy.

Fucking moron.

Very bad. Imagine most anons understand this scam already but for anyone who might not: the point of this is to establish a supra-monetary, supra-national economy, and thereby a supra-national, supra-monetary government. An economic/legal system based directly on resources without the mediation of money or national laws. Whoever controls and enforces the international/global carbon laws (and the laws to come that will be based on the usage of other resources) can make any nation bend the knee. It's international banking 2.0 and now that it's being established we're basically entering the next phase of revealing the fact of global one-world-government to the general public in a guise they will accept.

Why do Rothschilds and Rockefellers appear in the press talking about environmental issues and pushing global warming hysteria despite their major stakes in the supposed villains of global warming (oil companies, energy companies, shipping, manufacturing, etc.)? Because of this. Because they intend to set up a system in which they have even more direct control than the monetary economy which they control via international banking. A system in which they have legal right to tell you directly that you can't have water, can't use "carbon", etc.

If you didn't understand. Now you do. Share this information.

But goy, those container ships are vital to globalization. We can't stop those!

The leaks were all true. Carbon credits were all a scam by the ultra rich and that's why all the corporations are fucking jumping on board now. I hope AL Gore enjoyed his tax dodged tv channel funds.

Land assets are actually pretty good investments, there is a reason rich people do that all the time. Buying up the land at rock bottom prices after a collapse is pretty standard and it's how guys become rich during the recovery period.

You can also plant slow growing trees, then cash them in when they mature, or plant fruit trees and start an orchard and peddle your local produce to the area. You could even use the shade beneath the trees to grow other produce, even exotic produce that brings with it a large profit margin. (Ginseng comes to mind) Even if the carbon offset business doesn't pan out you can lease it to farmers in the area and have them crop it. (Most States also have a reforestation program that will re-compensate some of your investment)
It seems too many people around here are defeatists. It's rather disgusting that they claim to be Aryan yet lack so much Will Power or Motivation to accomplish their Goals.

The problem is getting the money to buy up all the land, you fucking retard.

We need to end strict emissions regulations and quotas for auto makers that require them to produce a set percentage of all new vehicles as hybrid/electric

The reason GM in particular is buying carbon credits is that they were allowed to produce more high emissions vehicles than what was allowed under Obama era rules and were allowed to buy carbon credits to offset this, basically its a way for certain manufacturers to skirt regulations which can give them a competitive edge. Ever increasing emissions regulations and quotas are the problem that has been killing the US vehicle industry for decades now, GM being allowed to exceed their limit is also the reason why they have 12+ V8 powered RWD vehicles offered while Ford has only 2 (Mustang and F150) and Dodge has 4

Several options to Kikevest in land stocks. Retail REIT stocks that pay dividends are good right now. Top ones are paying out above 10% dividend yields. Or get some nigger criminal land set for auction from seized properties across the states. usa.gov/auctions-and-sales

Stop derailing with your LARP get rich quick scheme. If you want to LARP go to cuckchan. This thread is about carbon taxes which are a very important topic.

Nigger that is not a LARP, it was a response to user wondering how to get money for land. Carbon taxes are a pyramid scheme and any company paying them now are at the top, all other new comers who voluntarily pay them now are at the bottom.

can you save us some legwork and post a source?
I'd love to shove this in some faces

i'm going to dump a can of wd-40 into the atmosphere right now in honor of this news

Wasn't the entire global coast line suppose to be a few feet under water 5 years ago?

Theyre just going to write down "carbon footprint fee" on the receipt and pass the price on to the customers whilst pocketing the extra money to use for whatever they want.

And the companies that don't will be forced to make less/inferior products, especially automakers. It prevents a lot of smaller corporations from expanding rapidly.

Oh yeah? I'm going to go dump 20 gallons of partially burned fuel out of my cracked turbo manifold.

By controlling carbon you control life itself, since life at its base level is comprised water and carbon and by interrupting the carbon or water cycle you destroy life or prevent it from coming into being. This is why the elite is pushing for carbon reduction and are trying hard to create water shortages. #DOTR

...

So when do niggers and shitskin muslims start to get carbon taxed for having 12 babies as a "form of wealth"? oh right never. Just more (((equality))) for whites.

Yeah, but that doesn't let companies and cucks virtue signal about how they are "saving the planet"

good post, thanks.

GOOD

A good step towards preventing ocean acidification!

I'm going to go spray a can of freon into the sky now.

Oh yay, another tax that will do nothing and be passed on to consumers
/thread

If they were serious about this they wouldn't need to pay scientists off and would instead be tackling the worst offenders with legislation that does not harm the consumer, but encourages technological solutions and development (aka jobs). Not paying a carbon slush fund for some kike conglomerate.

...

bump

good

Fuck off with this scam you kikes. We all know
it's just to make sure that you can control
the industrial development of western countries
so we will all be made poorer and weaker.
