Really? MegaNep feels lacking for some reason. I can't quite put my finger on it but I haven't had as much fun with it as I did with HypeNep 1 and 2. I think it might be the combat, I really don't like the number of combo slots being tied to weapons.

This either means that the filename is based on a hash of some kind generated by the file or that the pictures are retained longer than they are visible on the board.

Well V-II just improves on so many things, it's hard for it to not be the best one. Just the sountrack alone is just so good. I really liked Re;Birth 1 too though, I liked its story, and it was my first Nep game. And Re;Birth 2 too.

Also fun fact: Even though its not out yet on PC, the SEGA Hard Girls game still has models extracted, Uzume being one of them.

Her texture size in that game for the Vita is 2048x2048 vs. VII for the PC being 1024x1024

Its unusuasl when you think about it, but at the very least if one was to port high resolution textures to VII, then it won't really be a problem. (I can't say the same for characters like the Shas or Nitroplus though)

I tested SanaeGear on VII since the texture for her was the same despite double resolution and it still works fine. I don't see why it would not unless it would make it chug like Re;Birth 2 & 3.

Editor tried porting over RB models to VII earlier and that didn't work out too well. This engine seems to be very particular in regards to mesh configuration, doesn't really do a good job of backwards compatibility in that regard.

Just bought God Eater on steam. Tried making Nepgear (her English VA is one of the voice options, too). Unfortunately, while there are tons of hair and eye options, still can't make a perfect Nepgear. Not even really close, to be honest, but still closer than Dragon's Dogma.

Also I recall the HD Neps were certainly quite happy to order the assault on CFW Magic's position in Planeptune City…granted ASIC was armed in comparison to this fellow but they didn't seem too upset there either (seemed to be more concerned with the Deity of Sin, a couple of years work backlog and cosplay conventions for the Candidates, in roughly that order and in any event the dead from either CPU or ASIC combatants are never mentioned).

I suppose if some kind of advanced scripting is organized in one of the modding tools, that could be possible. That would actually be pretty neat, half the assets are already in RB1. Although I wouldn't mind a forward port to RB3's combat system if possible (beyond using the old Victory system).

Of course if you could do that, you could probably dummy in all the missing scenes from Mk2 into RB2.
