ChiChi was great pre-Gohan.

To be fair, Grandma Goku and English dub are both pretty bad. I don't know if this is objectively right, but I'll stick to Latam old dub Goku. Even Frieza's voice is better.

Grandma Goku is fine if you actually understand Goku's character; he's supposed to be a goofy hick, him being manly righteous aryan alien man is mostly incidental to his character, plus it's meant to be consistent with how he sounded as a kid.

The only time it gets annoying in Japanese is the Buu arc where Nozawa is voicing almost every male Son family member, to where you get it with Goku, Gohan and Goten and it sounds like a conversation between one person.

That's what I like from the old Latam dub.In the embed I posted he sounded serious, but any other time he actually sounds really kind.

I get that, but that's actually my problem with the Grandma Voice. Adult Goku sounds exactly like him as a kid. In the Latam dub his voice is changed BUT Gohan have the Kid Goku voice, a little changed, which is a nice detail.

All in all, Anime dubs had more quality in Latam before for some reason, retaining most of the original names and not being censored like the English version was. Also, Goku's voice as a kid is understandable in Japanese, but it doesn't make fucking sense to be like that as an adult.

I would main Bulma's tight cunt all day long while watching Vegetarian get cucked.

Plus I'd rather take one slight miscast in Japanese with everyone else sounding fine than an English dub where everyone sounds awful.

The Latam sounds decent for what it's worth, but I have no attachment to it. I'm past the point of caring about DBZ in other languages besides the one I watched as a kid (English) and it's original Japanese

There's a difference between being a kid and acting like one. I don't know if Saiyans are supposed to go through puberty or something, but as you grow up your voice is supposed to change.

Same, but as I grew up, most merchandise came either in English or Japanese, while I grew up with Latam, so I can't help but compare them, and I honestly think Latam is the most flashed out of those.
Also, that's the old Vegita's voice, which is cool, but I like the new one better. You can see, however, that editing is important during dubs, With some added effects the shittiest voice can sound good while screaming.

No, fucking really, Yamcha is always fucking beast in every DBZ game. Less HP? Don't get hit. Low attack? Combo for fucking days.

It doesn't matter how statistically weak Yamcha may be game to game, he always has the best, most drawn out combos that make your friends rage in anger.

Started getting back into xenoverse recently. Forgot how fun it was (and how annoying the AI could be with blocking. Special Beam Cannon ftw.)

It was pretty fun with Holla Forums in online mode.

Wondering how Fusion will work on online mode, assuming it's gonna work on every character customization.

There's a million Blast ultimates, but you only need one Strike ultimate to win everything.

For PVP, Justice Combination if you're good at combos, or Victory Rush if you want more freedom in your combos.

There's also a dozen good strike ultimates that combo very well. Melee game in Xenoverse is insane, and once you git gud at dodging ki blasts, and using terrain to draw in both PvE opponents and PvP randumbs, the game is set and match.

The freiza race was made for Melee, they can close the gap faster then any race.

On a slightly more serious note, how are they gonna explain DBS Trunks having blue hair in Xenoverse 2 when every other version of Future Trunks has purple hair in the game?

I think that is my one real beef with the shows localization, the hick aspect of the character was completely lost. Hell, he's even supposed to have a bit of an accent that would translate to a southern twang.
