Installing PS4 Controller for Wine

Greetings.

I'm trying to install a PS4 controller using wine/playonlinux for use on Steam.

Thus far I haven't had success. I currently have Ubuntu 16.04 and the drivers successfully installed and usable for Linux but I this does not translate to Wine + Steam.

Any advice?

Does it work on native games?

It works on native Steam.

Satan trips prophecy.

Dub-key Kong but I have money in Steam so I'd like it as an option.

Here you go OP, this should tide you over until you get it working properly. Proabably will have issues with the analog sticks though, idk.

Use the wine control panel to check and test game controllers, should be on the wine tab in the PlayonLinux configure window. Linux has 2 ways of working with controllers, so you might see 2 instances of the controller. you might have to disable one so that windows games only see one gamepad

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahshahshahahahaha why the fuck did you switch to linux if youre going to use a proprietary walled garden? hahahahahahahahahahahahahah

Are you trying to play proprietary trash on linux? TuxKart or bust.

Big picture mode doesn't run. I'm looking into it.

I'm Ubuntu because it's the only thing that works with my graphics card atm. I'm not entirely thrilled myself.

That's my backup strategy.
