Yeah don't worry about uncapping all characters. You'll run out of mats if you do that. Instead, pick and choose those that you particularly like and focus on them.

It's around 5k tokens for the first exchange and 10k for the second each event for 200k, more if you're willing to spend more tokens.

they also recently? changed satan to the prince of darkness in a patch, I am not for sure but I think shadowverse's localization is either handled by a different team or was recently given to a 3rd party localization company seeing how these changes were recently patched in.

I wouldn't worry about granblue because it is the Japanese version that has the English patch added to it, with was most likely added for the southeast Asia players rather then westerners, also if the did censor granblue the otaku would have a shit fit. I'd worry more about re link because seeing how platinum is doing it, it's localization could be either handled by 8-4 or it will be handled by the guys who are doing shadowverse, the best case scenario for re link is if they added a english patch to the Japanese game like how they did with granblue so we can import that or we will can jump on the ball and ask play asia or pqube to help out.

Yeah, it's kinda shitty when a rank 100+ join the raid and fucking one shot the boss, only call for backup "everyone" only if it takes too long to kill the boss, you don't have to call right at the start of the fight.

You either reroll if you just started, but it's kinda tedious I heard, or you get a premium draw by using 3000 crystals you get by making quests or getting titles.

Draph women are all short and stacked as hell. Hourglasses everyone one of them. The tallest are like 130cm, so around four and a half feet?
Yaia's shape seems perfectly normal for a Draph and is on a good pace to match Camieux, who's 11 with G cups.

Yep, Grand Order is super duper helpful for early game folks. As you get more characters though you should switch to single elemental teams, way easier to do bigger damage if you focus on a single element weapon grid.

This weapon situation is getting out of hand. Maybe have to spend crystals on space rather than draws.

Would probably be a good idea. 150 slots for weapons has been doing me pretty well. Summon inventory space isn't nearly as important, I still only have the default 50 slots.

I just started out and got enough characters from the free draws to fill my party and reserves. No particularly good character (I think) but I'm okay with what I got.

I still have no idea of what the fuck I'm doing with draws or how I unlock characters (through weapons?), but the game's kinda fun I guess. I don't think I'll be able to gather enough crystals for 10-draw in time so I'll wait for the next fest I suppose.

Summer Zooey is broken if you have the right weapon grid for her. A guild with a single member was able to get 8th in prelims because he had a summer Zooey party with an enmity weapon grid.

You can get a few characters from doing the main quest scenario, but yeah you get a majority of your party by getting specific weapons in the gacha.

Don't feel too bad if you aren't able to save up for another 10-pull this legfest, as they seem to be having them once a month now.

Since i'm new to the game, can you describe how broken/useful she is? I feel motivated to summon now.

She's insanely useful if you have a bunch of weapons in your weapon grid that have the 'enmity' skill. The way the enmity skill works is it makes your damage skyrocket the lower your HP is. Summer Zooey has skills that will not only drop your whole party's HP to 1, but give you invulnerability for that turn (and the drain skill to gain HP back) and she has a skill that boosts your party's attack depending on how low their HP is.

Pic related is an example of the kind of retarded damage you can do with Summer Zooey, an enmity weapon grid, and a few other things.

By the way, is there any penalty for grabbing summons from other players before beginning a quest? Like paying rupees or crystals for them or something. It just feels rather broken to take another player's summon and oneshot everything at the last battle.

Nope. Pretty soon you'll be struggling even with those summons anyway, so don't worry about it.

She's a notable R character because of her Facsimile skill. It has its uses. Overall though, she's your typical R character. They're always gonna be outclassed by SR/SSRs.

Yep, it's rigged to give you Walder and a random R weapon. The non-rigged stuff comes from crystal draws, the daily free summer draw, and the premium gacha ticket draws.

Draphs do have have proper human proportions, just smaller or larger in the case of males. There can be a human that's five foot and one that's six and a half, and they can still have the same proportions.
Dwarfism has abnormal arms and legs, messed up bone alignment and spine problems.
The only back problems a Draph would have is the same any human woman with a hefty chest would have.

Yeah, you can do some interesting stuff with Lunalu, because you can effectively double cast sometimes, but it all depends on your team comp. At least you can be happy to get a limited dude; they won't come around again for another year.

Yes they are exp fodder, save the Axe, you will need to fully uncap and level it to be later used either as bahamut weapon or in gw weapon process

Are rusted weapons special? I got a rusted spear and if I level/uncap it to max will it turn into something good? What are bahamut and gw weapons?

rusted weapons are the prerequisite to bahamut weapons, guild wars weapons are weapons that you can only get from gw fully upgrading it unlocks a character

Bahamut offer atk/hp boost depending on race
So yes leveling them gives you something good, but the entire proces for both gw and baha is long

Just getting overwhelmed by the game mechanics and lingo since i never played a mobile game before.

I'm also confused about class/char picking, like Dark Fencer sounds good for solo content but not sure what other classes/chars are good picks for beginners.

I usually just pick thick milf supports whenever i play online games but i'm not sure if that's viable or possible on this kind of game.

If there's any terms specifically you're not sure about, feel free to ask! If you check the pastebin in the OP, there's a link to a guide that'll help you out a ton.

Dark Fencer is a class that you'll probably want to get and master asap, as it helps you survive things. Beyond that, it's really up to your play style and what kind of party you want to make. Eventually you'll want to master all the classes though as they give you permanent stat boosts to the main character.

Proto-Bahamut is the default summon they always give you. Better than an R summon but you'll probably want to replace him as soon as you're able.

Dark Fencer is always useful, even in endgame raids because you need at least one person to cast gravity/mist once in a while
As for other classes, Hawkeye is more dps and boost of loot rate, Superstar is support with buffs(and with Guild War harp it also heals), the "tank" class whose name I forgot has a skill phalanax which is a damage cut, also fantastic, Sidewinder can apparently deal crazy damage, most classes on tier3 are solid

She's an SSR character that isn't limited, so you'll always have a chance of getting her whenever you draw from the gacha. She's pretty great, arguably my best character.

If there's a summer character you want, then go for it. Otherwise wait a day and pull during the legfest that starts tomorrow.

If you decide to start rerolling after your later rolls, here's what I started doing since the guides weren't working word for word for me:

Bookmark game.granbluefantasy.jp for easy access.

1) New Incognito Window. Make sure to close any other Incognito Windows open so the cookies destroy themselves.
2) Go to bookmark and start a New Game.
3) After you input your name and the movie starts, change your URL - it will say ../#tutorial/3, and you'll want to change the number to 4. This will let you skip the Tutorial.
4) Keep changing the number, adding one at a time (4 to 5 to 6 etc), until you reach ../#tutorial/12.
5) At 12, click Skip, then click OK. You should now be at 14.
6) Go to 32. This will redirect you to the Authentication page.
7) Click Mobage. In the next page, the very bottom text field is where you put in your e-mail to register, underneath the social media buttons. Enter your e-mail as (email)[email protected]/* */ I don't know if any other providers work like this, but I think you can also use temporary e-mail addresses if you don't mind the extra step of effort. Click the green button.
8) The next page wants a confirmation code. Go to your e-mail; you should have received an e-mail instantly. If you didn't, check your Spam inbox. Enter the four-digit number and click the green button.
9) On the next page, from top to bottom: Username (doesn't need to be unique), Password, Password (Again), Gender, DoB in Y/M/D format (I don't know if it's required but I've been filling it out). The next checkbox is to make your age "hidden" on your Mobage profile. The second checkbox is probably a ToS agreement or something, I've been ticking it. Click the green button.
10) On the final page, the first checkbox links your current Granblue profile to the Mobage account, so leave it checked. The second is about sharing that you've added it on your Mobage profile or something like it; shouldn't matter, but I've been unchecking it. Click the green button.
11) Granblue will flip its shit. Click "Begin From Tutorial".
12) Enter your name again, and you'll be booted to the Top page.
13) START
14) You should now be at tutorial 30. Click Skip twice to ignore Walder's dumb ass, and then click Mobage again to correctly link the accounts.

You're now in the game with a new account!

15) Click My Page twice to skip the event videos. Click Draw on the Free 10 Draws pop-up, because it will nag you any time you go to My Page if you don't. Either Draw or Cancel from the Gacha page; it'll nag you every time you go to the Gacha page if you don't. Click My Page when you're done.
16) Click Town on the right side of the screen. Click all of the sparkles on this page for the items, and then click them again in the following order for a free ticket: Top, Left, Right, Middle.
17) Go to bookmark. Scroll all the way down until you see a banner that says, "Use serial codes here to get loot!" It has a picture of Seriokarte, the shopkeeper, on it. Click that banner.
18) Enter j5pa mkru 2vcx 4cr8 and Send Code, then Close. Enter yrwg yv8m cck2 wcbf and Send Code, then Crate.
19) On your Crate page, click Pick Up All, then Pick Up. Instead of closing the final window, click the Draw ticket bar, then Draw, to go to the Gacha page slightly faster.
20) I don't know exactly what draws you should be doing. All I've read is the free 10-pull Premium draw is fixed, so I've been doing the free 1-pull Premium, the 2 tickets, the 1 free Rupie pull, the 10-pull Rupie, and the 2 JDA tickets.

She has her uses. Her third skill stacks with Phalanx and allows you to negate all damage for a single turn. She's currently on my light team specifically for that purpose.

She's not awful but she's not a very good character to start with. If people are going to be rerolling then they should be aiming for either the very rare summons (Lucifer, Bahamut, Grand Order) or a character like Yodarha.

I got a character in the draw, but for some reason they don't appear in any of the Party screens. Do you need to do something to the weapon to use them?

Nope, don't need to do anything special. If you got a character then they should appear in the Inventory->Characters tab.

Question, I'm just learning about upgrading and uncapping weapons and I have 2 composite bows. I can use one to uncap the other but I cannot use one to upgrade the other.

If you have 2 of the same weapon, are you only allowed to use one to uncap the other?

Once you get the weapon, even if you fodder it your character doesn't go away. Don't worry about it.

You can usually get a decent amount of crystals if you participate in events and bet during guild wars.

I don't know how useful of a character he is, but story-wise he's amazing. Fixes the Grandcypher's engine by just punching it, kek

You can either make a new account during a legfest and use the start dash ticket to pick her, or you can spend enough money to get 300 sparks (seriously don't do this) and then you can pick her that way.

I'm rank 80 and I'd only be spending around 200$. I'm pretty sure my friend would hate me forever if I dropped that much money on a mobile game, though.

So I've been dumping my EP into the Celeste Omega raids, and I've been getting SR weapons and just got pic related. The SR's will make up the weapon grid, right?

You can use SRs for the time being since they're plentiful and you'll easily be able to uncap them, but eventually you'll want to have a weapon grid filled with SSRs like pic related.

It can be a bit of a pain, but it's oh so worth it when you start getting 100k+ auto attacks.

You max uncap the summon and equip it for bonus to celeste weapon skills.
Theres the catch, all sr weps from chev and celeste are hp up, not atk up, so they are complete garbage, ssr or bust in case of light and Dark, other elementy can use sr
The collab that begins tomorrow should have a Dark ssr weapon, weps from collabs are reffered to as unknown and their skills have a different modifier than magna weapon, pray the unknowns are atk up and you will use them for a long time

Can someone explain how to minmax the shit outta the weapon grid? If have a dark main, does it matter what element the 9 sub weapons are or do I just choose the strongest regardless?

if you have a dark main you get weapons that have dark damage up and seems to be similar to your main weapon

i'll be more precise let's say you are a arms master you wanna punch shit and refill your ougi every 5 turns your weapon pool should try to have dark axes and swords since you get a 20% more damage and hp from any of them (preffered weapons) also you should have 1-2 mysterious dark dmg up skills since the damage they provide is calculated later 1 bahamut weapon depending on race and shit and if you have a lot of one type of weapon a celestial weapon

I'm up to my 50th reroll since I started a couple of days ago. I got an SSR on one account but it's an SSR considered on the lower tiers. Other than that, I've got about 5 SRs across my accounts disregarding the freebie fixed one from the free 10-pull you get.

It's pretty shitty, but I don't like the idea of going into a game so heavily reliant on luck to gain relative advantages, and as shown by my above numbers where SSRs are apparently currently 6%, I have pretty bad luck.

Do the events and grind tokens. If you daily raid grinds you eventually save enough tokens to trade in for ssr's too.

When you're this early into the game you can pretty much do whatever you want and it'll still be fine.

Though, you should make sure to get free event characters and max their loyalty so you get to keep them when the event is over.

Actually, it's better to just go and try the whole 10 rounds of double up as best you can. The payoff is larger than if you win frequently but quit early.

The only downside to this method is you have to spend at least an hour or so doing this. Watch a show or listen to a podcast or something while you grind it out.

You'll get a bigger payoff, but if you draw an 8 when you've got 300k+ chips then it's probably a good idea to just cash out and hope for better luck on the next pot.

In double-up, you're not necessarily attempting to "win" every hand - merely "not lose" is sufficient. Why? Because double-up has >50% odds on any number other than 8 to double your cash (because you have perfect information on the odds) the game has positive payout. Therefore, you want to play as much as possible, unlike in real-world casinos where the odds are stacked against you so you want to quit while you're ahead.

This means a "tie" result, should you draw an 8 into an 8, is a "win". If you stop playing on an 8, you get the money on that bet alone, and throw away every other possible double in the chain, possible doubles that are overall positive statistically.

So it's actually 7:6 odds that you get a "positive" result on an 8 - six chances for you to win, six chances for you to lose, and one chance for you to keep playing a game that is net positive for you.

The ONLY time it is literally a break-even is if there is exactly one double remaining before you have to stop anyways, either by the 10-play limit or the maximum pot limit, so overall just

Rerolling is a really short term gain. This game is built to take a lot of time. You'll reach the same result through grinding pretty quickly. The only thing I can recommend rerolling for is the initial paid set when exclusive characters are up. But they all eventually go into the main draw after a few months-a-year anyway. They were sued for having exclusive characters not being made available a while back, which is a breach of jpn hambling laws

(For what it's worth, the bot could be programmed to do this style of play if you really fucking wanted to for some reason, but the default was set to play until completion for a reason.) If you can't trust a program that literally tested tens of thousands of hands, I don't know what to tell you.

Anat, Christina, casino skins, pots, pills, SR LB mats don't come from anywhere else. Either you get those or forever remain a second-class citizen. It's a hellish fact but if you want the good stuff, you got to spend some time in the mines… but it's best to spend the least amount of time in the mines as possible.

Cross your fingers you'll roll more wind characters down the road though, and start planning for a grid of wind weapons. Luckily, it's the easiest to build.

Korwa is an S-tier buffer. She's so good that people are able to shoehorn her in off-element and she still does okay. Because of this, she is definitely worth starting with.

She is, however, a weird and non-intuitive character. She has a very specific rhythm to follow and must be treated like the princess she is, or else she'll be worse than useless.

You absolutely cannot ougi early with her.

Put her in the 4th position. She's much harder to make work any further up in the team as she NEEDS to be fed ougi meter "upstream" to ougi reliably.

Let her charge up to 9 or 10 fil. Use skill #2, the red one, which costs 4 fil. Wait until you have 9 or 10 fil again. Use skill #1, the black one, so now you're down to 7 or 8 fil. At your stage in the game you should definitely ougi now, but when you start getting tons of additional sources of team multiattack you can get greedy and wait one extra turn to go back up to 9 or 10 fil before ouging for increased numbers at the cost of 1 less turn you can "miss" the rhythm.

Skill 3 basically doesn't exist except in certain fights where she gets poked for tons of extra fil that you have to burn off somehow. In these fights you should gun for going off with 10 fil. Notably, you only need to go off with 10 fil once; you can then go off with less fil afterwards and the only thing affected is turn extension, not values buffed. If you somehow get to 100% meter with only 6 fil, go ahead and ougi anyways even though it's "only" 2 turns of extension.

It is suggested that your other three characters ougi individually whenever they're up, as the more regular individual ougis for 10% party charge become far more important than saving it up for the relatively piddling amount of bonus damage you'll get compared to sustaining Korwa's buffs.

What you're literally arguing is some kind of Thoreau-tier "live deliberately" bullshit. Why play 5 minutes a day when you can play one hour and be rid of the game for a long time yet?

And as for stuff that's "as-needed", the monthly refresh stuff that's worth getting - the SR fodder, the R fodder, the SR summon LB mats, the SR weapon LB mats, and the animas of course… the animas run 140K a day iirc, or 4.2M for a 30 day month. The fodder is 3M a month. The LB mats are 7.5M a month. That's 14.7 million chips a MONTH of stuff that's a HUGE shot in the arm above and beyond just the pots and pills.

Or do you think that MLB carbuncles and increased income of scarce-as-hell weapon elements aren't necessary to play the game? Do you think that skill fodder isn't a severe limiting factor for people attempting to get buff and build their grids?

It's a Lord of Vermillion event, you can click on the tab to learn more about it. This one is a Defense Order type of event so it'll happen at certain times. Events are usually pretty easy so lower level players can participate too.

Yeppers, Barawa's bluff skill is totally RNG but pays off pretty big sometimes. His R version is capable of doing it too, and you can even use Lunaru's facsimile skill to do it again sometimes.

Events are quite hard if we're talking about getting everything useful out of them, on many levels: requisite strength of party and pool, stamina in terms of potion and pill stockpiles, and raw autism to grind the same fights ad nauseum. The only thing easy about them is enough participation to farm out all the unique crystals for completion, beyond that the raids have some decent teeth and backbone to them. Defend Order is especially brutal on newer players due to its emphasis on long-term survival.

Until they have a half-decent magna SSR grid, newer players are probably best off snatching an event character to make them permanent and pretty much ignoring events otherwise in favor of just doing their best to get stronger in the long term.

It pays off so rarely it's a meme when it does happen. We're talking way, way, WAY less than a one in ten or even one in twenty chance, players have shot literally hundreds of Bluffs out before without seeing a multi-million hit. It can land a solid hit in the hundreds of thousands every so often, but the millions-high jackpot is a white whale of probability.

Indeed. The only real reason to grind a story event like this one is if the SSR summon is particularly notable. Most story event SSRs are not, thus giving players a "break" to go do other things like grind magnas or farm materials.

I disagree, even getting a single event SSR summon/weapon can mean a world of difference power-wise for a completely new player. The other random items they get from the event gacha can be useful too. I never stated that getting everything is easy, as you seemed to be implying.

Oh right, those caps! Didn't even think about those because the magnas will eventually be lacking animas, and hards aren't running into the cap at 25 AP each unless you're desperate for the animas for your primary element.

Even shorter than a week, because having a main account to play distracted me from my alt heavily and I didn't drink very many potions. If you chugged pots and played straight through on half AP you could probably get it done in two days, tops.

Story event SSR weapons are really meh compared to the power you can get from an MLB SR magna weapon (assuming you're playing one of the four central elements). They're much more valuable as skill fodder. Actually, that's about all they're valuable for.

And the story SSR summons usually come with a crippling drawback that often makes them very unappealing even if it represents having something over freaking Proto Bahamut. It's much easier and much more useful to simply grab a copy of your conquest summon (Ifrit, Cocytus, etc.) when it rotates in.

And none of this accounts for the relative difficulty of shaking an SSR out of the blasted gacha box in the first place when you don't have the power and resources to painlessly comb through the filler in the first place.

An slvl SSR weapon is worth ten slvl1 SRs in terms of skill level increase. Feeding merely two SRs to an SSR gets you an slvl 2 SSR… which is now worth TWENTY slvl1 SRs in terms of skill level increase. It levels off eventually, but practical feeding of bahas involves a lot of slvled up SSRs.
