welp, looks like I found a comfy new rabbit hole o' my own to wander back into!
As you can see in the pic, it mixes proper capital "O"s and what appear to be zeros. These apparent errors are repeated throughout the document.
I thought possibly these errors were just the result of it being OCRed from another document, however I wanted to analyse further just to satisfy myself there isn't some sort of binary code hidden here.
When I copied and pasted the text into an editor, the errors disappear. It's all normal "O" characters. This means there must be different layers in the PDF. It would also seem to rule out OCR errors, as they had a clean copy of the text.
Can anyone recommend a good PDF analyser for Linux? Or would a PDFnerd like to look at it themself and give their opinion?

Keeps the mind active, too. When I thought of that, I started to wonder if maybe prominent people get a surprisingly good impression of what life is like at the bottom of society. Maybe they get a lot of mail from the down and out keeping them apprised of the mind of the street. And of course, they get a lot of opportunities from all those beggars, too. Anything they can do with the work of unhealthy people with questionable. Those are opportunities to be charitable, exploitative, or straight-up monstrous, depending on how they're inclined to use them.
