First for best ship

Should I play the original Elite or skip to Elite II?

second for post didnt go through the first time

You already asked in the last thread.
You can skip the original if you want but would say play the original.

...

Alright, I might as well play both.
I know I asked last time, but I didn't see anyone reply.
Sorry.

Let's improve quality

...

Thanks user

do you think we'll ever reach the moon Holla Forums?

The chinks and russians are the only people making major overhauls in their space programs right now, but tbh there's no real reason to go back to the moon

i want to colonize the moon and masturbate in it

I really need to repost those Space Vidya Charts. There's a shooter and strategy one, but I was going to remake the strategy one.

Like we need a repeat of the challenger

Please do user

They make 5th rate rockets and use inferior materials in satellites so they fall out of orbit or malfunction.
Budget cuts left and right. Still paying out the ass to use a rocket facility they built in Ukraine.
Using tech that's decades old, trying to milk it for all it's worth but they lack modern features needed for exploration.

Didn't the chinks intentionally blow up one of their satellites or some shit as a big fuck you to the US? As a result there's a lot more debris hurdling around.

IIRC NASA has contracted SpaceX for ISS trips (which certainly isn't a big deal but it's better than paying Russians). Elon Musk has plans to put niggas on Mars. Apparently he's aiming for 1mil people eventually, since that's the magic number for self sustenance.
probably the biggest hurdle right there lmao

The US has had anti-sat missiles for their F-15s for a long time. The Soviets and Chinese built them too. But unlike the others, the Chinese haven't taken steps to ensure the debris reenters promptly. Some pieces have apogees high enough to threaten geosynchronous orbit.

I need to go back to the original again, I had the nes version running on my dslite.

E:D ayylamos soon and season 3 is rumored to be space legs, I want to walk around a hab ring so badly.

A cmdr has noticed an ammonia world he frequents, a large light observable from space has increased in size recently.

heium-3

I wouldn't be surprised if it malfunctioned and they just said that to sound badass.

Japan has some problems to
archive.is/tdsWK

Are mechs in space considered space ships?

Also, these are my favorite ships.

I cannot possibly have enough zaku art.

Also, space ships.

So I just bought ED and have no hotas what am I in for?

...

I was originally going to post gundam pics for the OP but I thought anons would respond the same way.

Gundam is the greatest thing to ever happen in this fucking shithole of a world. I'm sad to be a filthy Earthnoid.

My dick can't get any harder for this.

I agree and If I make next thread I'm going to make it with gundam pics

also user did you play the Gundam homeworld mod?

...

I'm thiking off picking up stellaris but only if I can make a race of conquering tentical rape monsters.

...

Just pirate it brah

I recently started playing KSP with RP-0, RSS, and RO.
It's fun as shit, but the performance is so horrible it's essentially unplayable.

It's not worth a pirate honestly. It has no redeeming features.

Its worth exactly a pirate
its good for 3 or 4 games with or without mods but thats it
with an expansion or 2 it might actually be worth money

I've played the mod, but I can't find it on the steam workshop anymore. I remember one came out for the remastered version and it looked beautiful.

This is what you get if you don't let a scan finish on an wanted ship EVEN if everyone other clean npc is fucking shredding it.

SIGH

it handles reasonably well with Mouse & Keyboard and you can use a controller too if you have one, just have to map it in the options menu
you should also get GAVPI or VoiceAttack and set up some voice macros for things like hyperjumps, power management, launching chaff and things like that
VoiceAttack is nice but their practice with the free demo and how it takes longer to start each time you launch it as an insentive to buy it is something I find unacceptable
GAVPI is free and does almost everything VA does but it lacks some features, although I can't think of any at the moment that I miss from VA so they are probably not all that important

prepare for loading screens
you'll be seeing a lot of those

Has ED got any content yet?

just kill yourself

Confirmed for shittiest taste in the known universe.

That webm didn't show any content in it did it, none at all.

I'm sorry my music triggered you user, don't worry those system security took care of me and my opinions.

I think you posted the wrong image. This is clearly best ship.

Calm down Pecisk, I just wanted to know if there was something more to do now than fighting and honking.

not realy, unless you're into influencing the background simulation but that also consists of mostly point A to point B travel unless I've missed something

Its fun for a few hours, but after that its boring.

...

You will never be a space cowboy

Zeon had the best ships. Sad to see that the E.F.S.F. miraculously got an entire navy to rival Zeon during A Baoa Qu. I don't see how the feddies were able to build enough mobile suits to counter Zeon when their only safe haven was under a rain forest in middle of no where. Zeon had almost all of space and most of Earth in their grasp and the feddies used dark magic to create an army for them.

you've got mining, exploration, powerplay which is much more fun in player groups and the pvp aspect, alien things are coming in the next update, exploration also has player group expeditions which are quite a lot of fun, the waypoints for them also have some of the most interesting places people have found in the black. There are also player groups that devote themselves to the 3 major factions, imperial, federal and alliance and work against other faction cgs (community goals) or to assist their own faction cgs.

There is also eye candy, lots of eye candy despite the games flaws Fdev are amazing at sound and visual design especially the details.

I don't care what music you like or have ever heard

The fact that you don't give a shit about music is painfully clear already.

Well I don't listen to music I think is shit.

Here have some music that I don't think is shit in any way. and gives me a raging boner

did the black eyed peas make an appearance on that album too?

I love the robots, but the only gundam I ever saw was Wing and never really liked it.

Don't know shit about the universe other than zeon being separatists and being treated like shit all the time.

this isn't /mu/. go be an autist there.

star citizen

do you have any other top 40's post-sci fi cover albums?

...

Because Zeon couldn;t fight a logn war with Earth. to quote Gihren Zabi " How is it that the Principality of Zeon has fought on until now when our strength is only 1/30th of the Earth Federation?! Citizens! I say it is because we fight for what is just!"

Thats the whole reason they dropped the colonies on Earth in the first place. They wanted a quick victory because if they drew the war out Earth would crush them. It wasn't the Gundam that won the war, it was the cheep and easy to mass-produced GM.

Best Flagman incoming.

So you never actually watched the original series and are just a Dunderboltfag?

Zeon never had most of space. They only had a Side 3 and another side under their control along with their asteroid bases. Side 7 was feddie controlled. Side 6 was neutral but had feddie facilities on it. Side 1 was also the feddie's space capital. The feddies also had Luna II. Earthside the only places Zeon managed to get a hold of was parts of North America, parts of eastern Europe, parts of North Africa, some of southeast Asia, and parts of Australia.

Also the feddies always had a large space fleet, but they were out of date ships like the Magellan and earlier Salamis. They kept out of most of the action until the feddies got their shit together, plus newer ships were developed on Earth and on allied sides.

Duh, it's Wing

Yeah, how dare those Zeon be bullied for gassing their own civilians, dropping colonies on civilian centers on Earth, and being led by a family of power hungry retards.

I went 1/2 way to the center of the galaxy n back and never got that long of a loading screen.
Going on that long ass journey was fun, I wish I had done it when Horizons was out so I could have landed on planets. Made the game boring now though

Really depends on your Internet speed and distance from frontiers servers.

Gassing own civilians is pretty bad.

Attacking civilian centers is pretty standard fare throughout history though.

Power hungry retards seem to infest everything so that's a given too.

I really liked War in the Pocket.

Those weren't "their own civilians" Those were Earth loyal colonies that would have been enemies later. And they didn't drop the colonies on civilian centers on purpose. They wanted to drop them on Jaburo, the Feddies HQ, but the Feddies altered the trajectory so it hit Australia .

Explain the Quintzem uprising in Side 3 then, zeek.

...

There is no way that after being annihilated during the beginning of the war that the Feddies were able to sustain the infrastructure needed to produce an army. They lost almost all of their land, had their fleets assraped in space, and didn't even have plans for mobile suits in the beginning.
Zeon should have won.

Feddy propaganda. Only someone who's soul is weighed down by gravity would by into that stuff.

Neat, gonna go with m/kb for the time being seeing how that goes. I noticed the game gives me a choice of which to play as in Elite Dangerous or Horizons. I Take it I choose ED to play first or does it even matter which I choose?

if you've paid for horizons choose the horizons launcher otherwise you won't be able to land on planets, accept planetary missions or access the engineers.

Alright horizons it is.

really? that's diablo 3 tier.

FD hamstrung ED hard by making it some half-assed multiplayer game.

Russian Numbers and thousands of factories on earth you don't need mobile suits to kill mobile suits but that makes it easier and betrayal and backstabbing inside the Zeon leadership

IGLOO had some cool scenes. The transforming tank one comes to mind.

It wants to be a MMO, but it has only 3000 total players on average.

...

Why the fuck do they spend time chattering instead of immediately reloading and firing once it is confirmed the target is still alive?

Fucking two and three week training courses.

Have you ever seen IGLOO entirely? Fighting mobile suits without mobile suits is a death wish. Everyone there died and they were the only ones with anti-mobile suit weaponry. These guys took out 2 Zakus. The only Feddie Anti-MS team left managed to kill 2 Zakus before being wiped out. The rest of the Zeon forces steamrolled over the continent with little issue.

They could not have Russian numbers. the Human population was cut in half. Most of those left were old people and children. Hence why children soldiers were the only replacements both nations could get.

Most of Earth belonged to Zeon. Zeon therefor had the most factories on Earth. The Federation only had one truly secured position in South America too and that was Jaburo. They couldn't possibly have made enough mobile suits to change the tide of the war.

I had actually lost connection to the server during that clip, had been in whitchspace for 10 or so minutes before I started recording
usually you get kicked back to the titlescreen

im real happy for you and all and imma let you finish, but Homeworld has the best ships of all time! of all time!

agdg goy who posted in the last thread, I figured out the gameplay of my game

It's kind of weird but it's like a cross between a TD with Light point defense turrets that guard you from fighters and missiles, and then Heavy Active turrets that you target manually on larger enemy ships. Don't have it yet but I'll add targetting enemy Hull (pure damage), Engines (reduce their movement resulting in easier hits/crits), critical spot (higher chance to do more damage, but can miss and do less) and Weapons (can destroy their turrets but does less hull damage)

I'm also thinking of adding medium turrets between the Heavy and Light that can go both ways - be manually targetted on enemy large ships for passive damage over time, or defend from fighters but not as good as light turrets

for now i'll stick with Light/Passive and Heavy/Active turrets. I'm glad I at least figured out how to make combat gameplay for my game. It's nothing amazing or anything, but I can at least expand it a lot from here.

You fucking cunt! I literally threw up over my monitor there you sick fuck! Why the hell did I click on it?

Could be fun.

here is something i took from /edg/ back when /vg/ didn't clump together games.

Pretty good.
Are the ED forums as bad as the ToR ones?

this will be interresting

How about offloading a shitload of humans? This planet can physically sustain our current numbers, but it's not very comfortable. It would be a lot nicer for people on Earth if the global population were under 1 billion.

We desperately need to create viable colonization technology so we can launch 80% of the human population off-world where they can fucking stay.

I hope the life support fails them

user there are more chinks in the world than nigs and sandnigs combined life support should still fail though

Scary.

I know that. They contribute to the high mudslime population

Didn't you watch that Futurama episode where the Moon became a theme park?
Do you want that to become our future?

You do realize scarcity is nothing to do with space and everything to do with resources, which just boils down to money. There's perfectly habitable places in the USA with less than one person per square mile. But there's nothing on the moon: no food, no water that isn't frozen and deep underground, no oxygen, no internet.

Considering it would take the entire GDP of the entire world to launch a billion people into space, that means there would be no money left for anything else. No money means no resources means everyone starves.

Face the sad truth: there is zero economic reason to have anything to do with space. There never was! The "space race" was just cold war propaganda because the UN told the USA and Soviets to stop using nukes as a dick-measuring contest, so they used rockets instead. It never would have worked out if NASA wasn't funded by the military budget that was previously going into nukes. That's why NASA isn't shit anymore. There's just no money in space when there's still so much to be had here on Earth.

Humanity is going to go extinct on this shitty mudball because of the will of the almighty dollar.

The point is that for life to be comfortable, you want low population density everywhere. Even if we spread everybody evenly, there would be too many people to live an ideal life.
For the sake of comfort, a few billion people need to make the ultimate sacrifice.

That doesn't require space, that just requires mass-suicide of several billion people.

Go ahead and start the trend, then. Your sacrifice will be remembered.

The only reason I can see the moon having a colony soon is to conduct experiments that would not be safe to do on Earth.
Biowarfare has fucked over to many islands and there is always a risk that it will get the the mainland.

just looking at the debris, pretty sure I saw the canopy frame of a hauler but couldn't find it again to take a picture

It's easier to frame it as some kind of heroic and momentous step forward for humanity blah blah blah, rather than a mass suicide.
People will willingly walk to the slaughterhouse if you hype it up enough.

What's a space vidya that has some really good combat? I don't care for exploration or anything as long as it has some really good combat behind it. Played Strike Suit Zero/Infinity, Ring Runner and Rebel Galaxy and liked those plenty.

There was this RTS I played back when I was a kid, not very well known because it came out at the same time as Starcraft and was eclipsed completely by it. Anyway, part of the backstory was that the ruling government of the world colonized planets by shoving tens of thousands of prisoners into a spaceship and shooting them off to a presumably-habitable planet with the bare minimum of resources and terraforming equipment. If they couldn't get the planet terraformed in the decade or so before their resources ran out, they would all starve to death. If they succeed, they become the vanguards for a new world. Either way, humanity wins out.

Such a shit design.
Engines connected by a thin fin to the main body. Hell, not even the main body, but rather the bridge, which is connected to the main body via a thin "neck".
The structural stress along the fin, especially at the top, would be astronomical. And then you add to that the stress from pushing the main body…

Are you retarded or do you not know how space works?

How'd I'd do it is to have the game auto calculate mass (should be doable - you have the 3d model and the scale).

Mass = structual points (SP).
The ship doesn't die when structural points reach 0 - it usually "dies" Looong before that, leaving a wreck/hulk. SP 0 means there's nothing left but a tiny debris cloud.

Rather, critically damaging systems and rending a ship inoperable makes it "dead"

...

Everything you posted is plain fucking wrong.
Side 1 wasn't totally decimated, only a few colonies were attacked. The only sides that were decimated during the OYW were sides that had only a few colonies, Sides 4 and 5 especially. Zeon never had as much control of the Earth as you seem to think. The entirety of the feddie space fleet wasn't even at Loum, not to mention it was a Pyrrhic victory there for Zeon, they lost much of their space fleet there as well.

Okay I couldn't be bothered changing them tonight. Rest assured the Strategy one I am definitely going to rework.

Then add it in rather than be a pissy tosspot! Seriously there's space for shit to add, do it!

How does whether or not it needs constant thrust matter as to how structurally unstable it is?

He just told you that the wheels will fall off your car, and you countered with "Well, I don't drive the car all the time!"

About fucking time.
God fucking damnit.

I love it. I recently read a mediocre sci-fi novel about a nearly identical scenario. The main character sent along to escort the malcontents to their new planet was a female abo astronaut.
That book stretched the limits of suspension of disbelief, and not in the way sci-fi stories are meant to.

Is there anything comparable to X3 for trade/industry?

If there is I haven't found it.

Evochron lets you set up stations and conduct trade, but it's inferior to X3 in every way except for its seamless universe.

Basically the only things about Evochron that are actually fun to mess around with are the seamless space-to-planet flight and landings, and the manual FTL jump plotting and calculation. If you don't calculate it properly, you'll jump straight into a planet or asteroid at FTL velocities, or overshoot your mark by thousands of km.
If you do calculate it well, you can jump your ship to within spitting distance of a freighter you want to loot, or thread the needle of a black hole to warp you halfway across the galaxy - an extremely small and precise target, and trying to approach a black hole at sub-FTL velocities fries your ship with intense radiation spikes.

The game also has hidden derelicts and hidden pirate troves in various places, much like Freelancer did.

Evochron is a mediocre game with a couple of great ideas. Worth mucking about for a few hours if you can pirate it.

Couldn't you just use the standard strategy one and remove non-sci-fi?

It would pretty much result in the same list with only RTS games?

You know, Elite gets a lot of flak, justifiably so, but I think it's pretty comfy. I like to play it when I have a podcast to listen to so I pretend it's space radio. Cobra's the most comfy ship I've owned so far, even though it's pretty weak compared to others. It's also the one I'm most fond of.
I'm gonna get me some of those sleek Imperial ships, the Federation are run by jews and the Alliance are useless space hippies.

Why do people hate ED, exactly? Looks cool to me.

Was it a rushed piece of shit with nothing to do and none of the promised features like NMS?

There just isn't anything to do

I'm enjoying the game so far. Wanted to get in the idea of being a space trucker, haven't gotten to that point yet, it took me like 4 hours to finish this geological salvage sample mission since I didn't know what the fuck i was doing or what exactly was I looking for.

Pretty much this. Honestly they should expand more of the space trucking part. It really should be Smokey and the Bandit in Space

How does the pvp sound? I must admit I'm interested in just cruising around and exploring, not liking the idea of being randomly ganked.

PVP options are always nice in games. Or at least certain sectors that it is enabled in.
However PVP always enabled makes the game seem more authentic and immersive in multiplayer games.

Not an answer to your question :^)

A lot of side 1 colonies were gassed and the Feddie resistance was wiped out. Sounds decimated to me.

Zeon controlled the majority of Earth very easily in the beginning. There were very few feddie bases still in effect besides Jaburo.

it's not the perfect spacegame with true newtonian physics, an economy system that rivals that of EVE online, comfy space bars, space truck stops, little to no spaceship tinkering to customize your ship, no spacelegs etc etc etc
and probably because it is pretty repetetive in all aspects

It's fairly shallow in terms of things to do. This is a problem I think they're solving gradually. Very gradually, granted, but gradually. For example, missions used to be dogshit worthless, with pointless rewards. But now you get given better and more rewarding missions the more a station likes you which I have been enjoying.

Finally got some darkness back in SE.
Feels good for lights to actually matter again.

I love Space Engineers

I really, really want to get an easy start game with about 5 friends and actually seeing how long we could survive/how many bases we could wipe out.

Problem is the lack of friends.

;_;

I want to combine Space engine with a really good sim city game, Kerbal Space Program for obvious reasons, and something like Xseries for trading,Missions, and running a space corporation.

Easy Start gives you so many resources that you could survive for hours just sitting there with your thumb up your butt, user.
I'd love to see a planetary start scenario that's more like the Crashed Red Ship space scenario. It would be the Easy Start base, but all fucked up by damage, with huge holes everywhere and all of the machinery destroyed.

There'd be enough resources to build a refinery stashed away in the closest pirate base, which you'd have to raid in order to become self sufficient. Those bases are easy enough to raid and destroy on your own with just a jetpack and a grinder.

I could be your friend user.

My problem, at least the last few times I've tried to solo an easy start, is that the pirate bases simply won't stop sending ships at me. Do they eventually run out? I can't seem to take it out with the free fighter I get.

I miss the modded 4X server. scouting for new asteroids in the black.

The very first thing you need to do is sneak in there through the turret blind spot, grind your way inside, and dismantle their power generator.
This kills the base.

You will never hunt bounties with Faye

Faye is worst bebop

So I'm trying to get to this system because I have 2 missions there and they seemed pretty easy to do but I can't get to it. I already upgraded my frame shift drive but it tells me that I need more fuel but my problem is that they don't sell bigger fuel tanks. I really hope those hours in completing missions is in real time and not game time.

...

game time = real time

whats the most violent and gritty gundam series?

What ship do you have? That "more fuel" is misleading. Jump distance only dependent on frameshift drive and weight.

I love retardedly huge ships.

eddb.io/station
enter the shit you want to buy and where you currently are, then sort by distance and last time someone updated the database entry for that station

coriolis.io/
for when you want to plan your ship modules to squeeze a little more jumprange out of your spacebucket

That's your opinion my man

So when did Space Engineers become completely and unusably broken?
It takes ten minutes to load a world, with RAM usage sitting at 99.4% during that time, and upon showing the first frame, it freezes everything and I have to do a hard reboot.

works

on

my

machine

:^)

Post your space building/trucking/shooting music

Is there a game where you start out in a small fighter and work your way up to some kind of dreadnought?
no pvp or mmo game please

X3

It seems the problem is something to do with planets. The game will load as long as I am not on the surface of one, and when I create a world where I start above one, it is untextured grey.

I remember being reluctant to buy it because it's apparently glitchy and the devs are slow with poor communication skills. Should I buy this or Starmade?

Okay. Either this or Life on Mars.

Posted in the last space thread, but starting from a tiny scout fighter, this is my current capital fleet.

Game is x3 Albion Prelude with the Litcube's Universe mod

...

You promised to show me a fleet battle user.

neat, makes things easier

The first ship sidewinder. I got stop by some enemy ai and got my shit wreck, well it was my fault for leaving to get a drink while leaving myself floating in space

gonna go ahead and fiddle with this, gonna be handy.

I did, didn't I? Going to spend all of my resources and produce a few more caps, then take a bunch more screenies of the battle with OCV.

i-i can be your friend user

this will be fun, I just hope I can find the damn thing to make the centerpoint station work

That third pic looks pretty structurally weak tbqwyf.

did someone actually die there or is it some procedural bs

You make me proud user, have some music as you spread peace through out the Empire

The pic that single handled ruined the Venator

Besides only kids like the Venator, real men like the Victory Class!

At 234 meters this sexy beast of a ship shadows even the Feddie Salamis-class cruiser. The state-of-the-art Minovsky-Ionesco Fusion Reactor makes sure the Musai is able to charge into battle to wreak havoc on your disgusting, weighed-down-by-gravity designs. With 3 2-barrel Beam Cannons, your shitty ships won't stand a chance in a one on one fight. It's range is far greater than an earthnoid's puny cannon. With 12 missile launchers, there is no way in Garma's hell you will be able to penetrate the defensive wall of a Musai. The Musai is never alone either. If you see a Musai, you won't see their hidden Zaku escort until you are burning in hell with the Aussies in Sydney.

Seig Fuckin Zeon you earthnoid trash. The Zabi family will rise again to enact their revenge against those weighed down by gravity. Blood will fill your oceans and the space above your world will reign supreme.

I download two space games, Emyprion and signs of life. Does anyone have any experience playing these? Signs of life looks like a less shitty starbound

I can't really get into it. it seems needlessly autistic to try and build anything

Why would you say that? You click and but a block down. You make a design and that is that.

Space battle complete. This was my first real fight against OCV, and I learned a good bit. Going to explain strategy pic by pic.

So, this is the sector map with their fleet shown in the sidebar. For those of you who don't play Litcube's Universe, OCV are super scary AI dudes who's ships outclass anything you can find or build. Those T's are terrifying.

Second picture is my fleet. One carrier Emeus, 6 Atlas battleships, 2 Ocelot dreadnoughts, 6 Titan 'battleships,' 4 Raven frigates, 8 Centaur corvettes. Due to how spread out they were, I decided to wait before giving the 'go code' to my fleet to prevent overextending

Opening salvo as they start getting close.

Those glowing things in the distance are missiles my carrier fighters are launching, my general strategy is fighter superiority, and so far it's working.

That big shockwave is their first frigate going down, since it decided to rush my fleet. So far I really haven't lost anything, to my great surprise.

Is X3 the best carrier command game? I feel like it is.

A nice cinematic screenshot, that giant cloud of missiles is my fighters doing their thing.

By now I've killed pretty much everything that isn't an enemy capital ship. Mine are still trying to get close to theirs, since both are quite slow. I should have recalled my fighters, here is where they really start to overextend and get turned into paste.

My capitals finally catch up to their lone T dreadnought, with predictable consequences for it. It does do a good bit of damage to my Ravens, causing them to jump out, as well as I think a Titan.

The bounty from another dreadnought. By this point I have almost no fighters, and a lot of my capitals have been taken out one by one as they approach the enemy fleet. Still, I continue the attack.

This is the final picture, it shows all the loot on the ground, and how badly both fleets looked after the majority of the fighting. It turns out my Ocelots, the two heaviest, brawliest, most powerful things I have were too slow to fight anything the whole time. That's bad.

I continue the fight for a little longer, but the remaining T somehow kited one of my Ocelots, and the other one was so slow getting into position I alt f4'd.

GG OCV

It is.

Fucking sleek spaceship.
I do love me some aesthetics.
I don't hold to the "fun with friends" meme, but I really have been extracting more enjoyment from the game playing with a friend of mine. Most of the time not even doing stuff together, just sort of… existing in the same universe, if that makes any sense. Having a chat every now and then. The ability to say "Hey when you're done meet up at X system for Y reason." It's aight.

It's literally the shittiest looking ship in all of those pics lmao.

Nice user

Pirating still only way to make good dosh?

Don't you be talking shit about my Gutamaya ships, faggot.

Pirating? Far as I know bounty hunting in combat zones or resource extraction sites was always the dosh making grind of choice.
Some missions give you good rewards now, if you have the cargo capacity for them. I've seen a few delivery jobs for upwards of 2 mil a pop, but my ships are too small to fit the cargo for it. There's also some trade runs that are apparently stupidly lucrative, but I haven't tried it yet. Exploring is still fucking useless as a money maker though.

How do you get past the big ass gap between around when you can afford a frigate until you can afford M1s and M2s? I always stop my playthroughs around there because I just get bored since I end up just sitting around outside a station and using the stock market with SETA on and occasionally going to build more money printing complexes whenever I can afford them. It gets kind of boring after several hours.

user if you manage the people i can join in and be part of that with you. i'm a neet so i have lots of free time

I don't have the reaction images necessary to express my disappointment in you, guys.

I feel like it'd be infinitely more fun with a better middleground between creative and survival. Survival takes SOOOOOOOOO MANY RESOURCES to build literally anything. Unless I'm doing something horribly wrong, it's mostly just running back and forth for hours and refilling your inventory with materials so you can get back to welding. Creative feels too pointless, though.

No, you should never ever EVER give money to Keen Software. Should have gotten it when it was on Humble Bundle a few weeks ago so you could give $0 to Keen.

why not though? i actually did that for the keks, there was no decent charity that i could guarantee would go for someone i cared or fought for a worthwhile cause so i just put 100% on humble bundle for getting me vidya for 1 shekel

...

I have the exact same complaint. i spent a lot of time getting more solar arrays just so i could afford to run my machines constantly and then i left my computer on with space engineers refining shit for 2 days yet i still run out of materials in a few hours building shit. They need to let us have mirror mode/line/plain block placements and speed up everything on survivor just so they can have a basic fun gamemode instead of a chore

That's not the type of pussayy I was referring to.

...

Looks like a dragon dildo tbh fam.

I just noticed something. I couldn't figure out how to claim bounties so I just flew around and got destroyed by enemy ai and my bounties were lost. I didn't think nothing of it, then it happen again the second time I died with more unclaimed bounties. I also can't fight worth for shit which is why I want to go full space trucker(that fucking minimap is really hard to read) but honestly I like this feature. Gotta claim my bounties or lose them when a guy want to shut me up. I just need to figure out how to claim them.

spaceship dildo that will pierce any fleet.

You know you can choose your own charity from literally thousands, right? You don't have to use the default ones.

Also because of Miner Wars.

Taidan Scouts are the best ship you silly goose.

Kusian Ion Frigates
Swarmers (he didn't salvage the swarmers laughing pornography.exe)
…
?

Game is broken.

i even made a cap on one of the times i bought a game through humblebundle but i'll pay attention to that next time
this "charity" just gives free vidya to the disabled
doing the government's job except i pay them because i wanted to, plus if people don't want to do sports i'm not spending money on convincing them
yeah i'm sure they're bringing PMCs to africa to save "animals" alright
another one that just gives free vidya to the disabled

I'd love to do a competitive match on a dedicated server, two teams on one planet set up their base, and throw up a 10km beacon where everything is protected until x time on y day, when there's no more protection and both teams can attack eachother's bases.

That wouldn't stop things like UAVs spying, etc, so there'd still be tons of tricks up both team's sleeves to prevent getting an edge on the other, but I have no server or ability to host something like this.

Use projectors, welding ships, and 10x refiner/assembler/etc.

I'm playing Litcube's, so SETAing for a few hours would end very poorly. The goal is to build up faster than the other two factions currently building up, and to get the real money, I started running tons of station construction missions for 1-5m per. That got me my first money printing complexes, which combined with station missions, snowballed until now I think I'm making about 10m a minute passively.

...

I was also playing Litcube's last time and was VERY VERY far ahead of the AI corporation, and was on schedule to have enough money printers to start shitting out capital ships by the time the Xenon reached the sector where they could start branching out and attacking multiple sectors at a time. I was sitting around waiting on money to come in on SETA a LOT.

That's the thing though. Once you've got a few complexes, it becomes a waste of time to even bother with missions as it's much better to just watch the Boron stock market religiously while selling your missiles or whatever it was I had complexes mass producing. The gaps between snowball phases gets exponentially larger each time.

okay.
There is weddings in E:D? What happens if you destroy the ship?

yeah i have one pics related

They say different things on death, it's more of a world building detail then something that affects the bgs

Hopefully when they get around to adding more planet types to land on 5 seasons from now it'll at least be interesting if it still doesn't pay well. It is a nice looking game, so give me some jungle planets and shit with alien species inhabiting them and I'll be good to go. I think the one patch I'm looking forward to the most this season is whenever they do multicrew. Wanna fight some ayyliens with a buddy.

On a side note, what did /space/ think of the Star Citizen 3.0 trailer? Embed related.

Whether or not the game will release in any sort of state that is playable assuming it does ever get released is one thing, but I think the tech and progress is interesting at least both for the probable trainwreck and/or the possibility of it actually being fun

I don't know. While I enjoy laughing at failure, I legitimately wish for the game to be good. 3.0 trailer seems like more specifically-prepared bollocks again, like they do every year. I'm honestly not convinced that the whole thing won't fall apart. We'll see I guess.

At the moment I'm interested in what's happening in Elite. Apparently there's some meta game going on about aliens, and something related is happening the 28th, today. I can't make sense of any of the community posts about it so I have no idea what's happening. All I understand at present is secret messages, shady shit, and possibly aliens.

I think they are going to take so long to release the game that people won't care when it sucks and the people that donated a lot with defend it.

BEHOLD! SEVERAL GENERATIONS OF IMPERIAL MIGHT IN A SINGLE FLEET!

They exist, they are coming, and it's going to wreck kids. Prepare now because it's going to have people crying over it.

Both the Empire and the Fed's have been building up recently and expanding out into the places where these alien objects have been found. Even fighting over them.

Meanwhile at home both sides building up supposedly against the other but we all know the real threat.

If you've done the stuff to unlock the Palin engineer or Farseer you come in contact with the alien objects, and shoot them for bits to impress them.

You made The Emperor proud user.

I keep attacking the Phanon so they level up with me, giving me a fun fight the entire time. When I'm not fighting them, I'm grinding to rank 10 standing with factions to get their dreadnoughts, clearing out xenon/pirate sectors, planning new ships types and making sure all of my factories and produced the right ratios of materials.

There are a bunch of messages stations have had leaked in their news systems, they all contained binary which translated turns the text below. Each station also had a riddle linking it to the station after.

- 1 Pre Logistics Support Gamma, binary - The Red Trader Was Carrying Fish During The Incident
- 2 Obsidian Orbital, roman - THE ASP IS YELLOW
- 3 Cooper Research Centre, morse - A Cobra is due to arrive at 21.00
- 4 Pre Logistics Support Zeta, binary - The T9 Pilots Route Takes Them To System CAIL
- 5 Pre Logistics Support Epsilo - Dillon never carries cargo
- 6 42 N Persei, morse - someone who wasn't carrying cargo will arrive in apademak at
- 7 Pre Logistics Support Delta, - A trader called Kohl will arrive in CAIL at 10.00
- 8 Nehsi Landing, roman - GRANGER DOESNT CARRY CARGO. HE HANGS AROUND APADEMAK
- 9 Kippax Dock, no code - end of the trail

The 28th, ingame time probably, something will happen, no one has any idea what.

If you look at that trailer without getting hyped about stupid shit like elevators you'll notice there's only a few minutes of actual gameplay. Of that, if you try and divorce the space combat, vehicle combat, and FPS combat from the game and ask yourself how they compare to the combat in other space games, vehicle games, and FPS games I think you'll see how disappointing they are. The space combat is still the same space combat it had a year or two ago which even an awful game like X Rebirth does better, the vehicle combat just looked like the AI was completely broken, and the FPS combat looks like a half-finished Unity tutorial. And before anyone says b-but it's an alpha, they've been working on FPS combat for longer than some FPSes took to develop so I expect a bit more than that.
The walking sim parts that make up the rest of the video have nice art, but SC has always had nice art and that's always not been the problem. I also don't think people are going to enjoy it taking 15+ minutes of flying, landing, elevator riding (and waiting for the elevator to arrive), bar chatting, etc. just to accept one mission. It's the kind of thing people are wowed by the first couple times then they start looking for the skip key.

The alien thing (more than likely Thargoids) are being ramped up. I think tomorrow just starts some kind of hunt or something. I believe it's in the Perseides system. This is of course speculation, and only what I've read on the forums and shit. I don't have any of my own speculation to offer cause right now Elite is a "zone out, listen to music, and do some trade runs" type of game for me when I don't feel like playing Truck Sim. Other anons probably know more about it than I do.

I do too, the immersion of it appeals to me. And, yeah they have a routine they go through for all their demos. What they showed live is what they showed to the press. I don't personally think it's a problem though cause that's how most demos are. Probably know more at CitizenCon as well as when 3.0 actually drops from those who've actually backed the game. All I do is keep an eye on it out of curiosity.

To be fair, the land vehicles were driven by people there on stage and not ai.. The fps combat does look shit though, I agree.

The Feds are pussies though, I bet they give in right away. I haven't done any engineers stuff yet, I was doing Imperial mission stuff to get the first Empire ship. Probably worth it though, it seems like a big boost for your ship. Although I'm waiting also because I read that the devs are planning to nerf the RNG.

Ah, so it was a riddle. That's what those posts meant. I'll leave it to better minds than mine to work out. At any rate I chose the right time to get back into this game, actual stuff is happening.

Galaxy Gun is pretty great

I'd commit murder in the first degree for a Yamato vidya.

Unfortunately it's not a game. I don't even think you can play it in World of Warships anymore.

HNNG The Imperial Navy is by far the most impressive and most aesthetic navy in any universe.

If only the Stormtroopers were closer to Space Marines…then I'd instantly submit to the Empire.

They should've stuck with the Dark Troopers line, then they might've been.

Also as a reminder that Dark troopers also double as power armor. At least the phase 2 ones

I love this game and the absolutely stupid shit you can build.
All I need now is a mod that adds in grues, or some other kind of monster that spawns in darkness and flees from light - and then increase the power consumption of all light sources by a hefty margin to boot.

The phase 3 is the power armor one, the other two are just droids.

Thanks for correcting me user

That's an odd way of pronouncing "Star Blazers".

As a huge SW fan, it's always bothered me how none of the military's used Power Armor. The closest any got was the Phase 3, and Darth Vader's armor.

You'd think if you were a galaxy spanning Empire that could afford the construction of 25,000 Imperial Star Destroyers, that you could at least afford something better than plasteel armor.

They skipped over power armor and jumped straight into giant walking mechs.

Wait, Dark Troopers are robots? Aren't they in Battlefront 1 and 2? I thought they were just like elite soldiers or some shit.

I feel 'mech' is the wrong term for the Star Wars walkers. Just doesn't feel like it belongs to me.

It is. It's a good thing I was pronouncing Yamato, the ship, then.

You're thinking of Dark Troopers bruv.

I've been out of the space game thing for a while:
Is Elite: Dangerous still the best game for space flying? If I just want to chill out and fly around in outer space and see space stations and coolass space shit, is there something other than Elite: Dangerous that's worth it for that?

I don't get it. Am I retarded?

not sure, had similar problems when i reinstalled for the first time in a while last month.
I can still do the no-planets maps, but they've added nothing to make survival not shit since first release, and I don't like creative modes, so back off it goes.

Sorry, I'm the retard. I thought I was talking about Shadow Troopers originally.

Dark Troopers, Shadow Troopers, Blackhole Troopers - they all look the same.

as long as it's got an animal shape then it basically a mech. spider mechs, etc.
walkers are iffy though, some kind of retarded dog thing maybe?

AT-STs have chicken legs.
AT-ATs have the basic body shape of cows.

They're not graceful or elegant - they're chunky and cobbled-together looking like all Star Wars tech. I still think they qualify, though.
I wonder why all Star Trek tech looks like it was duct taped together from scavenged ancient technology. Even brand new shit like the Star Destroyers and the Death Star look like someone just threw a super-magnet into a junkyard and called the result an invention.

I like that aesthetic, but I have no idea what the reason behind it is.

Get your munnies-worth out of your model builders innit?

Who SPACE ENGINEERS here?

IF U UP SMASH THAT MFN' BAD NETCODE BUTTON

This looks like a space marine had sex with fallout armor and a SW droid

WTF is this? Isthat suposed ot be power armor?
How does a human fit in there, look how far apart the arms are.

Triangles in spaaaaace!

If I could build some good looking super-capitals, I'd be more interested in Lithcubes

Do you know how mechanical engineering works?

It applies in space too.

That's not a dragon dildo ship.
THIS is a dragon dildo ship.

I couldn't give a rats ass what some wiki or official canon states.
They can make a sphered ship and write that it's the greatest cube design ever made.

It might be a new-ish feature, I don't know. I gave 100% of my money to a cancer charity for that bundle since it was all early access survival-crafting games.

Anyone played Star Ruler 2? How shit is it?

Is Empire of the Fading Suns actually worth playing or is it just one of those games that's good in concept but poor in execution?

Also:
I just want to manage a generation ship, seems like and open and shut design concept for a game.

Imagine ETS2 if the trucks had forward facing guns on them, no scenery and no radio. I was a pre kickstarter £90 backer and regret it immensely; Elite 2 and 3 are vastly superior in my opinion.

So much was changed and so many promises were broken during development in order to pander to 2 groups; firstly to 40 something yr old British men who couldn't handle newtonian physics and foolishly believed that in an arcade combat system a human player would react in the same way the AI did in the original EIite (in the original Elite the AI will deliberately turn its back on the player occasionally in order to let them win, a human will never do that and with no gravity, no energy management or threat of crashing into the ground like in an arcade flight sim the combat in Elite IV becomes a truly banal and unengaging experience) and secondly to the MMO desiring Star Citizen cultists who Braben saw as easy money.

Elite IV was originally going to be a customisable single player game, now it's an always online DRM infested pseudo MMO with unsatisfactory everything.

For me it's mostly the lack of content. I played for a while, thought it was amazing, then realized there's nothing to do.

There's nothing to do in the game

I have recently come to the Epiphany that Elite Dangerous is actually a role playing game.

It really is, you can use sites like inara.cz to name and setup all your ships, keep logs and track your income etc.

user pls no. Was it really? I'm already upset enough as it is when I found out it was going to be a multiplayer game. I don't think I can take knowing the original plan actually was potentially the amazing game I've been waiting for.

Going multiplayer is the whole reason behind the frameshift drive and the blatant instancing, originally the game was going to have the same persistent, linear worldspace of Elite 2 and 3. (and I believe the Elite 4 engine was developed to the point of being able to implement it as such).

As multiplayer become a more and more prominent target of development as the devs eyed the success of Star Citizen, the plans went through several stages to accommodate multiplayer; from scrapping time dilation and just having ships accelerate at far greater rates than Elite 2 and 3, all the way to (as they realised even the best air combat simulators hadn't developed the kind of netcode that could send players relative positioning data to each other and have it be accurate by the time it arrived due to the extreme relative velocities involved in space travel), the implementation of the instanced frameshift drive and "rooms" for orbital bodies.

For a very short while, while finding was still ongoing I might add, there was some talk of singleplayer and multiplayer having separate features, or single player being moddable. All of that disappeared when some time after the end of funding they said the game would be always online, and single player became multiplayer with player connections blocked.

...

What the hell are you trying to say?

(checked)
The only good part of the Yamato dub were the intros and that one part in the first series where they hum first closing theme

The deal with mechs is that in most cases they usually replace practically all infantry, vehicular, atmospheric, and exospheric combat. And everyone has their own in-universe name for mechs anyway like Mobile Suits, Walkers, Vertical Tanks, etc.

Going multiplayer is the reason why the game will be forgotten as soon as the server shut down.

They had an opportunity to make a unique game and blew it off to hop in the SC bandwagon. All we got was bad instancing backed by cheap Amazon servers.

Then you have propagandist like Pecisk telling FD that everything is alright just as they implement mobile games worthy mechanics like the RNGneers.

All the FSD loading screens are the single biggest demotivator for me to keep playing. I just don't have the words to express how soul crushing it is to see so many god damn loading screens when you are just running simple errands. It almost got to the point where I wanted to stop spanning the game across all three of my monitors so I could put a movie or show or something on one of them but then I realized I wouldn't even be playing the fucking game at that point. Guess I just keep waiting for SWGemu to finish JTL.

So, i've been enjoying my space merchant lifestyle in x3ap, but I exploration apparently sucks dick in the base game.
The explorer software seems to require constant micro management several times per system and still misses half the shit. Is there really no better way to reveal factories and gates than manually headbutting everything in the galaxy?

I laughed way too much at that picture.

Advanced Sattelites in the dead center of a sectory.

You could try litcube or whatever, exploration is piss easy in that.
Good luck making any money in the early game, though, it's balanced around finding abandoned ships to sell for starting capital.

Just grab the cheat package and reveal all systems. You can deploy advance sats in all systems too if I remember correctly.

It's far less tedious than having to remap the entire galaxy every time you decide to restart.

yeah, seems like something cheaty is in order.
trying out the universe explorer mod since it seems to make the explorer software go full auto and actually do what it should, if it doesn't work out i'll probably just go full cheat for the maps.

Are there any Pioneer Spacesim mods one can recommend? I'm talking about the free software Elite clone.

what game is the non shit stellaris?

Heavily modded pirated Stellaris in the year 2020.

SotS 1

Distant Worlds

But if the base has a delta value of zero, that means zero net change in the base. Does it just mean a passive recon sweep?

...

...

probably proceduraly generated
the system was 5000 light years out from the edge of inhabited space

you wanna do some space trucking now is a great time
sign up for the "More Imperial Warships" Community Goal and transport shit to Van de Hulst Vision in the Morai system, you can see it on your galaxy map
Buy Superconductors at Kowal Terminal in the Nahuatl system if you have Horizons, otherwise go to Schults Hub in Wuru system and buy Auto-Fabricators
Superconductors sell for 7270 per unit and Auto-fabricators for 4108 per unit at Van de Hulst Vision, the station you need to sell shit at for the CG, just make sure you sign up for the CG before you start selling your shit so that it counts towards your contribution
CGs often net you a bit of extra cash for little effort, or a lot of extra cash if you spend some time doing it

also when buying new ships and modules try to do it in systems influenced by Li Yong-Rui for a 15% discount, you can search for that shit on the EDDB website I linked earlier

LETTERS ARE LOVE, LETTERS ARE LIFE

I hit top 50% at about 400-500 tons so it's doable with smaller ships.

I'd say look out for feds but their player groups are much less organized and aggressive then the imperial ones.

Also if you play in solo you're a pussy

I’d bebop Faye, if you know what I mean.

that's supposed to be Schuster Hub

All I got is an adder and I am running low on funs, looks like I'll get on that.

...

THIS TRIGGERS THE TREKKIE

I never got why all the star trek ships looked alike

Because building a fleet that can use the same parts is more resource effective than a fleet of unique ships that each require their own special parts.

This allows for modular designs that can be easily configured into different roles within the fleet, and removes the need to construct many different types of the same part for multiple unique configurations.

Its not ST ships in general but the Federation starships, since they´re based on the same technology.

ST ships can look all types of bananas

why do boats all look alike, function drives design, each similar section on the fed ships are driven by their functions.

...

Battlefront Darg Troobers are the cyborg ones.

I hit it when I sold my 2nd load, 512 tonnes total

just try and make your ship as light as possible for the trip there and buy the best frameshift drive you can
just make sure you can cover the rebuy cost of your ship a few times in case you encounter pirates
when you get there you can buy cargo racks in the Morai system

you can use eddb.io to find stations closeby with the wanted materials

eddb.io/trade/commodity

It gives you current stock too, there are plenty of places within 20lys so I've been doing it fairly quickly with only a 16-14ly jump range.

part 1?

yes, there are closer systems than the ones I suggested but they generally sell what you need for this CG over market value or have a low supply and the other user is running low on funds so need to try to squeeze as much profit as possible out of the trade routes to cover eventual interdictions and fuel costs

Eah you arn't going to make much money off the actual trading, espeically the auto-fabricators as they don't sell for that much more. It's more the cg rewards that is making the money here.

You can list eddb.io by price too if that's what matters.

I suppose that makes sense.

...

Well shit, I ran out of fuel in the middle of buttfucking nowhere and a white dwarf fucked my ass so bad that my frame shift is damaged and my cargo hold is dead.

That was one hell of a journey.

It was too surreal, if fucking shadowplay would have worked I could have recorded my last moments.

...

814cr per unit of fabricators
fuel costs about 800-900 per round trip
anons adder costs between 31,712cr and 64,294cr to rebuy depending on if he's running with a shield generator or not
he can carry between 18t and 26t cargo, again depending on if he's running a shield or not
this means that he can make about 13752cr per round trip with only 18t cargo which means he needs at least 5 trips to be able to rebuy the shielded version of the adder

KGBFOAM are the stars you can use a fuelscoop on
maybe should've suggested getting one for the trip there
you should've been smart enough not to run out of fuel but at least you only make that mistake once

It says 9-13+4=4.
It's still wrong.

Next time you run out a fuel call the fuel rats.

fuelrats.com

tbh if you logged out with a bit of oxygen and your coordinates recorded they could probably have saved you

even if it's just a hauler rebuy

topkek. when did they come up with this?

Pretty sure they've been operating since the beta.

...

Too late now, I have to start my 31 jump journey all over again.

Gonna ho ahead and pick one of those up now, I was saving the slot for the space buggy.

Really? I thought they had emergency fuel beacons last I remember.
But then again I found a trade exploit in one of the 1.0 versions and made hundreds of millions then went exploring only to quit because I didn't want to fly back to the bubble

Fucking ruined.

it's warhammer 40k

edit your starmap to only show you stars with designation KGBFOAM
screw the buggy, you don't need it

Don't be fooled. They did change the stormtroopers to look like some apple ripoffs. The old stuff gave them more character.

No, it's a 40k and Star Wars hybrid.

And they used the new Stormtrooper helmets from The Farce Awakens, thus making the entire image irredeemable.

...

That image was made before the movie came out

I never will understand what was going through the designers heads when they decided to make the very gritty, realistic aesthetic of Star Wars into a weird nuStar Trek-Apple hybrid.

phys.org/news/2016-08-scientists-exit-hawaii-dome-yearlong.html

I hope you make it into the top 75% at least user
that's a lot of cash for a new player

holy shit I hope I'm still in 50% when I get home, I could buy a conda after this.

So is that some sort of community goal they do regularly or more of a special event?

The community goals are made regularly for different ingame lore events, in this case the Imperial faction wants to build more capitol ships so they're asking for independent pilots to deliver.

They'll do them in the case of a system needing urgent supplies en mass, materials to build new stations. Created for players to affect more complicated in-game lore being run by frontier behind the scenes.

Fuck, looks like I need to get space trucking. I just earned 12m from the last bounty hunting CG

Never bothered with the community goals when I played, was getting more than enough doing Sothis runs but the payout on this one sure is appealing. Also space highways never ever

forgot to mention they don't just do the cgs for commodities, they'll do them against two warring factions based on the amount of combat bonds cashed in from nearby conflict zones, same for bounties. Exploration data too the CG active right now at Jacques is taking data.

We've been having multiple CGs for lore recently. They were sending a station out to Beagle Point (otherside of the galaxy) but something went wrong and it came out of warp nearer to the galactic core. So our recent CG were about repairing it. Now the plan is to make a new station in the nearby nebula so that'll be community goals for a while too.

208 tonnes and I'm in Top 75%

I'll do a few more runs to make sure I stay there.

Holy shit these are some big payouts and it's going to hit max tier so double those roughly.

I'm gonna have enough money for a Beluga after this.

Pffff I'll be buying my Python AND Conda

I'm at top 25% with 5120 tonnes contributed and the CG is almost halfway through tier 7
I've more than doubled my total assets during this CG

I did not know that website.
They have a ton of radio stations and such, very impressive.
I sometimes listen to sidewinder radio but this site has that too.

Fuck, that's a lot of dough.

But…. Why would you leave everything but the top of your ship unarmed insuring that your biggest and most important ships are completely defence against anything attacking them from above or bellow? Its like you want them to be shot to pieces.
And why would any carrier in space ever need a runway? In 0 G! Its not even pointing the right way to be useful when the ship is accelerating, so unless they are actively trying to prevent their own fighters from launching with artificial gravity, what point is there in the runway?

I've always hate the style of that show and all those retards who think that just because something works on a wet water warship it must be perfect on spaceship. SPACE IS NOT AN OCEAN ok?

This Cg ain't lasting much longer.

fresh thread

now that's what i call to appealing to their new audience of iCrap consuming hipsters

Sweet jesus
All the digits

i just want anons to play it with and team up so we can make a thriving spess city

Earlier…

I wonder what I'll do with all these useless space shekels

NASA just announced several new long term projects in the works that they have already secured funding for.
*Man on Mars by the late 2030's
*Probe to explore seas of Europa
*Probe to Titan
*Land probe on Ceres
*Robotic astronauts/Self maintaining probes project
*Interstellar self guided robotic probe

And then you have other countries like China that want to beat NASA to Mars and India which is trying to arrange a an to the moon by the 2020's

And private companies such as SpaceX which plans to get a mars to stay mission around the same time as NASA, and continue building more efficient rockets and new space capsules.
Virgin has spaceship 3 in the works and has been making good strides securing legal standards for commercial spaceflight.

And finally public group projects like Mars One which may show some promise in the future.

Things are happening it's just going to take time.

Apparently they tried during the clone wars. They gave a bunch of galactic marines some space power armor and told them to fight some supers. The suits malfunctioned and the weapons didn't work, so the marines stuck to beating the shit out of the supers instead

I am going to make a new thread when this one hits page 13

there already is a new one here

And everyone left me in the thread to sink again, Except for you user you came back for me

I was here too user.

I never left, faggot

Well we won't be left behind this time user another user didn't abandon us so we can all leave together
