Actual Persian Zoroastrian user here, all I got to say is good fucking luck finding a decently-sized Fire Temple with a Mobad who'd be willing to convert you.

There are different denominations of modern Zoroastrianism, and all of them have different views on accepting converts- the Parsis (original persians who fled for refuge in India once the arabs invaded and buttfucked our entire civilization) do not, and never have, accepted converts due to making a pact with a now-defunct Gujurati kingdom not to proselytize. Since they do not accept converts, and neither do they accept marriages with non-parsis, they have been inbreeding for 1400 years to the point they have the highest rates of Diabetes in the world at this point. Parsis are to Zoroastrian what anti-israel Hasidics are to Jews.

Other, more liberal Mobads in the Diaspora (who primarily either come from modern-day Iran or Tajikistan) do accept converts (which is why Kurds are converting), but what exactly is considered canon scripture varies greatly- because most of our holy book was fucking burned by the arabs and later Turkish Qajars so now are lost to history forever. To make up for this, some very liberal Mobads consider philosophical apologetics from the Sassanid era to be legit- but the Parsis fucking detest this and will never consider you to be Zoroastrian. You have to study a lot of this for a long time before you can earn the right to wear the belt (somewhat equivalent to baptism). And whatever you do, don't fuck fucking DARE say any stupid shit like "Praise Zurvan the celestial and neutral lord of all creation!" or "Maybe this Mazdak guy had some good ideas", you will be ostracized for it.

Just read their holy books and start practicing. I've never been a huge fan of organised religion and Zoroastrianism accommodates that feeling by allowing followers to basically worship how they see fit. The Parsis are bound by tradition and should continue, but northern Europeans are more Aryan and arguably have more of a right to the religion. We need to create our own Zoroastrian communities and traditions rather than getting cucked by indo aryans.
