I have seen this approach used with limited success, although I prefer to simply use the law against them, rather than rely on such processes as it is not something I can remember seeing in the Magna Carta (I'm a tad rusty so take this with a grain of salt) and if you are talking barons, it generally is related to the Magna Carta. Also I have never filed anything of such, merely refused the electoral roll as this is the prime social/invisible contract with which you consent to governance with. If you do not participate in society in this manner, it's pretty hard to say you consent to being governed, isn't it? Statutory law aka law for government employees only applies to persons in that society if they consent implicitly or otherwise. When you take away that consent by not being on the electoral roll, or providing a drivers license (their own property so you must) under protest and duress and claiming that you are forced to contract to have a license to travel freely under common law, thus such contract is null and void as it is not voluntary, it creates a lot of problems for them to prove you are subject to such law.
Only thing I have filed, is a perfected UCC claim to Washington DC DOL. Washington DC is a separate country or jurisdiction within US and is part of the Fed chain which links commerce back to the UK Rothschild banks, who control the entire monetary system. Remember this earth is basically controlled by commerce - this is where the UCC comes in to play. This is the final act of your rabbit hole journey so deal with that when you get there, if you ever wish to reach this level. Each UCC Claim is vetted by FBI and you can be arrested for false filings. When I did it approximately a decade ago, only 14 million UCC claims existed in the entire world, that includes commercial filings, not just people. Focus on common law first it is most useful and applicable easiest as it is made for commoners - hence the common law. It's easy to understand.
UCC and the rest is where it gets more complicated as you have to understand all the underlying contracts and obligations that go with. From there you can take it to even crazier levels with charge backs of non-civil costs/accessing accounts and the rest as mentioned prior but I will do this another time in future, when I have the time :) I prefer to K.I.S.S where possible as it avoids as many potential pitfalls as possible.
