It seems only a minority of people earnestly enjoy classical music and music inspired by classical music. When filthy casuals say they "love" classical music, what they really mean is that they'll give it a go if it happens to be on at a given time and place, but almost never pursue it on their own accord.

For non-BM or Hardcore, check out Ultima Thule. They were pretty popular in Sweden at one point selling 100k+ records at their peak in the '90s. They were the band that invented Viking Rock, but what's of special interest to me is their early career as a New Wave/Oi! crossover

That's absurd since even Zizek (see current shit thread) says (instrumental) music cannot contain ideology.
Sweden was not only the birthplace of Viking Rock, but its scene also bequeathed heavyhitters Dirlewanger who stood out as the frontrunners for RACabilly alongside The Klansmen helmed by none other than Ian Stuart himself. The band's previous two albums released by the legendary Rebelles Européens established that signature blend of bluesy Hard Rock and Rockabilly, but "White Power Rock'n'Roll" would mark turning point which would result in the transition towards a new identity as Heroes in the Snow. Gone was the Rockabilly and in was some good ol' Hard Rock a la AC/DC complete with a presumably new vocalist doing his best to channel Bon Scott. God only knows what caused this to happen, but in any case, this album improves just about everything I found lacking in "Rocking for the Golden Race" and "Unity in Honour". Despite copying AC/DC's style in every way possible, they still sound more original and authentic than ever. It certainly helps they aren't ripping off Skrewdriver (looking at you, "Things I Remember").
The first and most obvious improvement here is the production values. Everything is nice, crisp and clean. Aside from the guitar which could be a tad heavier and the drums which could use be a bit more propulsive, it all works well together so nothing is out of balance. The guitars still have the Rock'n'Roll flair of their previous two albums, but done in the spirit of fistpounding Hard Rock. Songs go anywhere from midtempo stompers to uptempo groovers all with catchy hooks and sing-along choruses to keep you engaged. Rest assured, these guys aren't one-trick ponies since the music does have build up which pays off wonderfully.
In case the album cover couldn't be more obvious, the music clearly shows within the first minute of the title track that these guys must've listened to "Back in Black" and "Let There Be Rock" at least 100 times. Our vocalist's performance can be seen as divisive; you're either instantly charmed or put off upon hearing his first syllable. Half way through, it seemed he was trying to impersonate Brian Johnson and Bon Scott simultaneously with jawdropping results. The clunky lyrics only add to the odd charm.
All in all, "White Power Rock'n'Roll" stands out as Dirlewanger's highest achievement that still holds up years after its initial release. Forgivably, only a few songs overstay their welcome as throwaway tracks, but the music takes an existing framework and applies it so wonderfully that few other bands within RAC, even the Hard Rock-driven ones, can compare.
