Win7, krita is generally GPU hungry and the latest version is breddy unstable

Im using an older version still compatible with my aiptek drawing tablet

I tried krita again after abandoning it. The latest version seems worse.

- When I bring up the right click menu krita throws my cursor onto the other monitor & the pen display will only draw on that monitor until I unplug it & plug it back in.
- The lag is bad even with very little smoothing.
- When I lift the pen & try to draw on another part of the canvas krita instantly draws a line from where I lifted the pen.
- Even just setting the pen display resolution/offset for the first time instantly brings up a hundred duplicate dialog windows even if I pull the pen away from the screen quickly after triggering it.
- For a time I had a problem where I would draw one line then the pen wouldn't draw anything until I selected the tool again.

I'm on a Ugee pen display & krita is unusable for me. It doesn't seem to want to play nice with my Ugee.
I don't remember the other version I used being this bad so maybe I'll just try the older version again.
Even without the larger issues the way it does smoothing is so much laggier than PaintTool SAI that I don't know if I could ever switch to krita.

The last time I tried krita was so long ago I may have still been using my wacom cintiq. I wanted a larger pen display than the cintiq 12wx but wacom's 22" pen display's are way too expensive. There are other pen displays with arguably better screens for 1/4th of the price with the caveat of no shortcut buttons. I just tape a numberpad onto the back & use it for shortcuts. Fuck paying wacom's absurd pricing, they're like Apple, they think their logo alone doubles or triples the value of whatever they're selling.

The hands need a lot of work, especially the left one.

As for major details, only the arms need work.
The left one is bigger than the right one even though the right is closer in perspective. The upper arm is also a bit too long. I'd make the elbow connection a bit higher up on her upper arm.
Her right lower arm is noticeably shorter than her upper arm and they don't really connect correctly. The forearm should cover up a bit more of the upper arm. You could shrink the angle of the elbow such that both arm parts smash against each other a bit more. I think that would fix it adequately.

There's some minor details like the spats not matching the contours of her left thigh and such but I assume that will be fixed when you get to detailing it.

I think her hand is a little too curled over that shovel

I needed a thing for my tablet because it fucked up. I don't draw very often regardless unless I'm in a mindset to do it. I go through phases that last weeks or months where I focus most on one activity; IE. Vidya, TV, Drawing, Walking, Lifting, DIY, etc. the phases come & go.

I may just redo the whole body differently. It was done kinda half-assed without really trying to make all the parts look right. I was more interested in drawing faces at the time.
