If there is a disaster which makes you leaving inna woods, meaning all city services get dead, you will need to be on the move. The explanation on airfoils isn't incorrect, but it's irrelevant. Airfoils are objects shaped such that they efficiently redirect air downwards. It is true that air progresses faster over them than beneath them but that's more a symptom than a cause.
An angled airfoil is not only redirecting air downwards and behind it, but it creates an area of low pressure on top of it because of its orientation relative to the direction of velocity. Because this area above the airfoil has less pressure, air with the same energy will move faster through it to compensate.
