Not really. It's basically a grinding simulator. You might encounter cool things but because of it's procedurally generated nature, you'll likely come to barren worlds. It's only good as a tech demo for an idea but not as a game.

You could aslo screw yourself from completing the game on a technical level. You'll find this in the DSP final video that you need 10 Atlas stones to progress in the Atlas path but if you didn't know that beforehand and sold one of them, it would take you so many warps to correct that mistake that quitting is a better option. I guess that is what happens in a game that you can do anything but doesn't tell you what you should or shouldn't do that you can find many ways to fuck yourself over.
