My dick cannot wait until december. Also I legitimately feel sorry for vita owners who were waiting for the sequel and got shafted. However, I wanted to play GR so bad when it released and was mad salty it was moved from PS3 to Vita. Also I already had a 3DS and couldn't justify blowing money on a handheld for one game no matter how good it was.

It will be a fun christmas unless your family and friends mock you for playing game like this, so you have to keep it as a secret.

Any news on the animation and Figmas? I'll be goddamn mad if the Figmas are exclusive Special Edition figures. The animation might pop up somewhere at some point, though I was expecting a 12-episodes series. Could be a great combination of adventure, superheroics and slice of life. Just Kat hanging out in her TMNT house, then wandering around town helping the townspeople.
Handled well she could make for a nice superheroine-ish story.

I also hope that we get to see more of those puzzle stages, since they were pretty fun. I've been waiting for this game since I completed the first on the Vita.

I hope that in the end, Kat and Raven still do the superhero thing.

I want more clues to decipher their language. They don't use the same markings as any language I've seen, and I know it's supposed to be gibberish but apparently the devs made more gibberish and GR2 will have more voicing.

Well, the good news is they claim the world is going to be much larger with more missions. The bad news is I don't know what the variety is going to look like. Personally, I'm in the mood for a lot of stealth missions and more of those races. Would be a lot of fun.

I want some closure, or to tie some loose ends, like the ghost couple.
I'd also like to be able to decorate Kat's pad any way you want, and to dress up Kat any way you want, instead of a full maid uniform, you could make her wear her cat leather that with the school uniform, for example.

Also, more variety in minigames to get more gems. Maybe some kind of gravity volleyball.

Maybe not night/day system, but I'd like to see parts of the city with different weather. Maybe a part of the city has a grayish blue hue and is always raining, or another one with rolling fog, windy with leaves, etc. and of course, Kat's hair and clothing swaying in the direction where the wind blows. Maybe clothing effect, like her clothes getting wet if she lands on a puddle of water or if she's in a rainy area, but I'm probably asking for too much.

There was plenty of variety in Gravity Rush, such as those aforementioned puzzle stages towards the end. It also seems that combat has been overhauled so it will be better, which will be great. I really hope the game takes advantage of the PlayStation 4 with it's size, as that would be the only feasible reason to move the series to the PlayStation 4.

Also, speaking of the language, will the anime be using the gibberish?

I think we all want closure after Gravity Rush's ending. Games should never have cliffhangers. Also it would be nice if we got more than one alternative outfit in the base game. I hope the old outfits are included with the new ones.

It's weird that people still have hig hopes and dreams when this generations started out really bad, and even with games that are good, they don't bring them up because they're not the ones having really cool marketing and trailers that turn out to be false

Looking at some gameplay stuff, GR2 looks pretty neat. Loved the first one on Vita and while still miffed that it's a PS4 exclusive that won't stop me from playing it. Like mentioned in the thread, I just want more of the same, cause they nailed the flying/falling gameplay perfectly. It surprisingly never got old, it just felt 'fun' floating through the world.

Beaten housewives through and through I guess. A little positivity here and there wouldn't hurt, but there are enough corporate cocksuckers out there so there is a balance to be maintained.

What happened with that anyway? I saw some ghost girl once or twice but could never be bothered to try and find all of the encounters. Do they actually expand on it or is every encounter just her saying "S-she can see me!"?

As far as I remember, and I did find them in all the maps, they try to explain you what is happening in the world, and that it could be either dimensional shenanigans, and Kat let's them know that she has seen both, so maybe they'd be able to make contact at some moment.
I really hope something comes out of it, not just another achievement in GR2. Maybe an alternate ending or a hidden stage/world/boss.

I also wish some houses and buildings were open, or let you fight indoors at some large building, like the military HQ or something. Or to have something similar to GTA, that if you fuck around with the citizens or police, they might chase you down or your reputation as a heroine might be tarnished because you wefe being a gravity cunt.

The music, the feeling of weightlessness, and exploring using not-quite-flight. The actual combat is barebones, the story isn't really clear, but the environment and running around in this weird, new city on a tower was interesting.

I didin't mind the music, but the sense of weightlessness wasn't there, since you were the only one affected by it, even when lots of objects and people were around you. Also there's no "exploring": it's a big brown city with nothing in it. No secrets, no iteractive objects, eviroment or people. Exploring it's not just having a big enviroment and that's it. You need a purpouse to explore and knowing that your curiosity is going to be rewarded in some way it's a basic one. Having a bunch of cristals lying around does nothing, since are everywhere and the only thing you use them are for the power up and nothing else. I don't care watching the same buildings copy-pasted in different positions. I agree with the combat but the story was so boring and uninspired. It's like they didn't know what to do with it, especially when they introduced that fat fuck. They basically said "look we don't know how to explain thing or to progress the story".

More like the only missions since it's either that or a time attack. Fling people around has no repercutions, either good or bad. Since you're 12 i'll explain it to you with easy words: i don't "hate" the game, i just don't understand the high reception for a product so mediocre.

You can talk to citizens that have speech bubbles any time, man. They aren't restricted to just missions. I will give you it's not as interactive as an RPG or what have you, but you can talk to some NPCs and get flavor text or hints. The hidden boss fights aren't the exact same, and require more strategy to not get fucked. The third one in particular can be hard as fuck if you don't lame it out.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the game is perfect, but I felt it was a lot of fun and had some good ideas. I'm hoping GR2 improves it so I can give it higher than a 7.5.
