Ok have you seen the movie caddyshack? Well it's a movie that makes fun of the WASP cultural elite. Making a mockery of the traditional cultural elite is a common trope of the left, but without the raunchy jewish shit in caddyshack it wouldn't be funny. Yes. Most people here fail to realize that people like Denton, and sites like Gawker or Kotaku, do not exist in a vacuum. They are part of a much larger socially connected conglomerate of people and businesses who share the same ideologies. It doesn't really matter if you take one of them down, because either the company itself, or the people who work for it, will just get passed on to somebody else, and they'll continue spreading the same message.

In this case, Gawker's death isn't even a PR victory, because (despite GG's insistence to the contrary) anti-SJW's had literally nothing to do with it. Not one of the news articles on this subject mention social justice or corrupt journalism at all; instead its just a company "dying" after being sued by a washed-up ex-wrestler. Nobody is going to be able to point to this and say, "See? Social justice movements are bad and doomed to fail."

I'm still glad Denton is broke (although I have a feeling that he won't be for very long) and Gawker is dying (although only in name), but this isn't really anything to get excited over.
