Are you tired of classcucked spooky Westerners telling you that porky worked hard for their money? Are you tired of the so-called "left" that tells white working class people that they're muh privileged over millionaire white women? Are you tired of sitting on your ass and not fighting (possibly dying) for socialism? Have you ever fantasized about being Che Guevera or Vasili Zeitzev? Well get off your fat ass and join the Bunker Men.
This is the official Leftypol YPG/IFB recruitment thread for Anons who are interested in joining up with one of the best hopes for socialism in the modern world. The purpose of the Bunker Men is to co-ordinate activity between Westerners who want to fight against Daesh and Erdogan, and hopefully come out of it with a qt Kurdish war bride.
We will use this thread and encrypted chat services to co-ordinate travel and the pooling of resources, because let's face it, soft doughy westerners like us are all shitting our pants at the thought of getting smuggled into Syria in the dead of night, so we might as well bring a friend.
Discussion in the thread should be limited to basic stuff, no details about your travel schedules, the inner workings of the YPG or anything like that. We don't want the Turkroaches listening in after all. If you are serious about joining, get yourself an app called Wickr. It's an encrypted chat so available on iOS and Android. Download it and contact me under the name KomradeKurtz, and we can work together to make travel and entry into the country easier on all of us.
maoist posters are very aesthetic. shame about the ideology
Caleb Anderson
I agree. They are the best at painting the image of an entirely new society post-capitalism.
Kayden Collins
Comrade there is many Turkish communist groups fighting amongst the International Freedom Battalions if I'm not mistaken.
Hudson Kelly
The IFB is the international corps of the Marxist-Leninist Party of Turkey.
Jason Nelson
Tankies like Phil Greaves defend Assad's Syria with such fervent delirium that you'd swear it was a Marxist Leninist Utopia.
Hunter Richardson
how about no
Luis Wood
How do I know this isn't just another "communist in name only" totalitarian thing like in cuba?
Jordan Moore
kek, glad I'm not the only one who knows that twat. IDK if it's Soviet nostalgia or what, but the whole Marxist-Leninist crowd has a huge hard on for Putin and other tinpot authoritarians. Muh anti-imperialism.
Jackson Thomas
it doesn't describe itself as communist, more communalist
ocalan abandoned marxist leninism years ago
Bentley Jenkins
huh? did you reply to the wrong post?
Joshua Green
How have you never heard of Rojava?
Sebastian Jackson
Yeah sorry
Lucas Rodriguez
/r/ing a patch for the brigade from a drawfag.
Lucas Carter
This would be the obvious choice, just replace where it says "leftypol" with "Bunker Men".

Does anyone have an update on Rojova's chances of existing after the civil war is done? I heard Turkey was pushing hard against them, and they may not convince Assad to form a confederalism. Though I may be wrong
If they can't convince Assad then they will likely have to go underground like the PKK. However ISIS is on its last legs, which means that the rebels and their backers in the West and the Gulf will likely ramp up their attacks on Assad. Rojava will no longer be useful to the West by that point, but they will be useful to Assad. He won't want to turn down an extremely well trained and battle hardened army that would be willing to fight for him. Add to that the fact that Kurdish autonomy in Syria would empower Kurds in Turkey, which could seriously damage NATO power in the region, meaning that the Russians would have strong motive to support Rojava. With all this I think there is a pretty good chance of Assad and the Kurds working something out.
Henry Hernandez
Are women welcome here?
Daniel Brown
I'm sure they are.
Aaron White
For sure. There are a number of western women in the YPJ. You don't have to be a man to be a Bunker Man.
Leo Martin

Henry Reyes
Bunker People would be more inclusive then.
Camden Perez
True, we'll try to #DoBetter.
Robert Baker
But that sound atrocious.
Michael Flores
Can we go there and build thousands of bunkers?
Hoxha fucked up, he should have used earthbags instead of concrete.
Levi Gray
Are there ways to help chip in for the people who don't want to/ can't actually ship off to war?
David Brown
How about 'Bunksheviks"?
Nicholas Bennett
I think discussing the name of something that doesn't exist is retarded. Let the people that actually go figure it out.
Mason Sanders

You could wire us cash to help with the costs of travel. Anything helps.
Wyatt Gray
If we get a gender neutral name then I would go away from the Bunker stuff. Maybe the Spookbusters or some other Spook joke.
Lincoln Rivera
Wasn't the pigmeister complaining about people just staying six months? A year is a long time in a country where hardly anyone speaks English.
Christian Mitchell
Pick one.
>While there is a market, the ideal of a communal economy projects its meaning to the exchange between councils. The cooperatives are connected through the councils’ economic commissions at all levels, and they should be able to fulfill the people’s needs for fuel, gas, flour, foodstuffs and other products of the communal economy. No individual exchange? That's interesting. People must be allocated resources based on need.

Robert Bennett
get it
Nicholas Howard
I think the hope/expectation is that you will try to learn Kurdish. I don't think you could spend a year with full immersion in the language without picking it up unless you don't even try.

I think I'm done with socialism tbh.
Angel Wilson
Kek, are you implying patriarchy isn't a thing in the Middle East?
James Gomez
Yeah man, a liberal used it once so of course enforced social norms that unfairly prioritize men couldn't ever possibly exist, because that's what patriarchy means and patriarchy is a liberal buzzword 1488 praise stalin XDXDXD
Grayson Fisher
Good point, I assumed it was the honkey that wrote it but it's a local called Anja saying it.
Makhno had it coming.

If they can't convince Assad they will fight Assad. They are a wholly different proposition to the PKK. PKK's lack of numbers (estimates put them at about 5k members) and munitions means they have to fight an asymmetrical war.
The YPG, YPJ and all the rebel factions within the SDF would be combining to numbers of about 75,000 I think. And the majority of these forces are well trained and semi well armed, depending on where exactly they are.
i don't think it will come to fighting Assad because Kurdish demands are ultimately reasonable and Russia does not want to stay there for another decade. They will force Assad's hand.
Cooper Phillips
Comrades if you're thinking about going to Rojava I would immerse myself in the SyrianCivilWar subreddit before doing so. Become acquainted with every player in this war, know how they're doing, know what they want, who supports them.
In regards to 'our' guys, these are good twitters for keeping up with the SDF/YPG and any anything Rojava:
Probably. War brides are real thing m80. Fuck Orwell talked about how International Brigades guys picked up a bunch of Spanish wives.
Jacob Myers
it appears the russians may have bombed the SDF
very strange and worrying
Nicholas Gonzalez
Fuck
Can't wait for the tankie/putin/assad loving cunts to defend that one
Justin King
Well it's not gonna be hard for em considering they support Assad and Russia over the YPG/SDF, who are "NATO backed imperialist mercs trying to infringe upon the rights of Syria's sovereign government". Or something.

Surprised they aren't rooting for ISIS since they're similar levels of reactionary.
Benjamin Fisher
It's full of Assad worshippers and Turk autists. They're all unified by their hatred of Kurds. It's not worth browsing.
Jayden Green
I want to join the fight but I have no military experience- will I just be a burden over there? I'm in decent shape and ready to fight but I'm completely green.

Their propaganda seems pretty relaxed.

Anthony Wright
Most of us are in the same boat, myself included. They explicitly say that you don't need to be a solider to fight, and that they need more than just soldiers. If you have other practical skills then they will put them to use, and if you want to fight they will train you.
If they think you will be a burden then they won't accept you, this is why they have a screening process.
Connor Smith

Carson Foster
You've convinced me, tbh. I'll get in contact and see what they say.
