"We should analyze Fascism from psychoanalysts perspective, not class struggle :)"

How's this guy a Marxist again?

He had some alright things to say about commodification of culture

Adorno didn't dismiss class struggle.

bullshit

You never even approached any of his book, did you?

Then why did he use psychoanalysis instead of class struggle to study fascism?

You have yet to put up an argument.

Using the tools of psychoanalysis to study Fascism does not in any way means he dismissed class struggle.

I swear to god red flaggots are, bar PYD flaggots, THE worst and most retarded posters on Holla Forums.

Class struggle was a part of it. Adorno, et al. were just very interested in how the working class came to support authoritarian dictators like Stalin and Hitler (and Trump for that matter). To do that they turned to psychoanalysis.

B-BUT MUH "ACCELERATIONISM"!!!

He didn't ignore class struggle you dip. The frankfurt school used both freud and marx.

These memes about every philosopher of revolution after Marx being an idpol bourg are not far from Holla Forums's retardation of claiming that communists are liberal idpolers.
Luckily our echo chamber is not as bad as Holla Forums's but it's still pretty retarded. I only come here for the memes and drunk banter tbh.

Has psychoanalysis ever been right about anything?

you being a faggot is pretty accurate, imo

This is the relevant sauce to read.

It's not that it's popular, it's that it's cheap. I am talking about stuff like the 20 minute toy commercials that passed for children's entertainment during the 80s and 90s as opposed to genuinely educational experiences, like even playing outside.

This was a critical mistake. Working people don't need to be psychoanalyzed in order to support socialist policies. The fundamental point is to cut away the bullshit economic ideology that capitalist liberalism foists onto the people, and they flubbed it totally by adding another ideological layer to cut through.

Sauce for you here

key quote here from the sauce

...

You're completely missing the point, which is an analysis of how emotions of the masses work. In that sense it's pretty similar to the type of analyses of ideology that Zizek makes.

All right then, I didn't write what I meant to say; what I wanted to say was that we need to create a cheap and effective method of implementing real socialist policies that demonstrate their respective strengths in a non-fragile manner. That means having real people do real things resulting in a demonstrable improvement in quality of life, which is possible. We are talking about real arrangements like free and easy access to means of production or transport;

Intelligent people would join us immediately once they see what we will make.
This is what would convince them.

State banks that give loans to workers wanting to buy out their workplace as a co-op.
I know leftypol seems to hate co-ops but they are literally the workers owning the means of production.

Pls.

thats the point of critical theory though. To criticise capitalism not only as it regards to class struggle, but also how it affects other aspects of society. Marx himself did this very often, so I dont see how it makes him "not marxist".

Oh boy…
