Well I found the supposed "leak" of the Alola dex. It seems to line up with other things that have been hinted at/confirmed. Still take it with a grain of salt of course. Is a third evolution still likely? Most bear Pokemon seem to only have two. If that's the final evolution I really don't want to be stuck with that, it can forget being considered for my team, especially if it's stats are average. I know I shouldn't be disappointed, but I was really hoping for it to become fairy/fighting and actually look decent. Sad to see this happen to one of my favorite animals it was based off too.

The current version doesn't do anything different, but they're beta testing a version that checks the pokemon's distance to the nearest pokestop, which is much easier since those can't move.

All I changed was one Pokemon to something "competitive" and they don't live more than 1 round.

I use smogon teams? Never win.
I try to predict my opponent? Never get it right and I'm a shooting gallery.
I try to stop a set up? Protect or Fake Out bones me.
Try to set up myself? Instant KO.

Christ knows how you're suppose to do anything on cart where everyone uses Mega Gengar or Mega Lucario. Or a team of Ubers.

M.Zard Y will be your bane. Sure Volcarona can take some Heat Waves, but it's the only one.

IMO, use Scoliopede with speed boost.

- Protect
- Baton Pass

Then Baton Bass to M.Heracross (I prefer it's Skill Link for breaking Substitutes, but you might prefer to use M.Scizor. If you do use M.Scizor, drop Heracross). The speed is more important than the atk boost. If Scoliopede will risk dying by using swords dance, don't do it.

Not sure if any of the bugs get Psyche Up to get Quiver Dance bonus as well. If not, give Volcarona Rage Powder instead to draw attacks (so Scoliopede can set up)

Galvantuna's Spider Web/Sticky Web is great as an entry harzard, but it can't do much else. Sure it can throw off High Acc Thunders, but its very frail, and lacks a decent speed to outrace the things that could kill it first. (I wanted to use one myself, but it's solid UU). _Maybe_ replace it with Shuckle. Lose offense for support. Spider Web, Taunt, that move that lets you average defencive stats with another poke (like a frail ally), and Stealth Rocks?

Yanmeha hits hard, but doesn't do anything that Volcarona can't. I do agree another special attacker would help. Or maybe keep Yanmega and use Speed Boost + Protect + Baton Pass strat of Scoliopede so there's a secondary one. Or is that overkill/too paranoid?

The reason Galvantula is one of my favorite mons is because of the Compound Eyes/Thunder combo, which kills flyers like Charizard easy. Sticky Web is the least of my worries, as the whole team is based around at least ONE mon getting that speed boost for a sweep. Scoliopede also can hit like a truck suprisingly well, so that last move will be an attack.

Mega Scizor is unnecessary since Technician for bullet punch spam is already on a viable one. He's mainly thrown in after a Swords Dance baton pass to keep him away from fire types. Buff up enough with Scoliopede and Scizor can carry a whole team un-mega'd and fares well without a dance due to Technician. But he'd still carry a stone anyway if things go down the dumps.

Mega Heracross is a clincher for substitutes and the boost from the mega stone is great.

Yanny only needs one attack to keep up, like Scoliopede, but it'll be secondary support for Heracross instead.

Galvantula and Volcarona are type coverer and special types, Yanny and Scolio are on support, and the clinchers are Mega Heracross and Scizor, both carrying a stone to prepare for fuckups in the strategy.

This would be an awesome bug type gym leader rematch team in the games
