I had ideas for fear tactics, indepth morale, epic marches through the deserts with songs being sung by the crusaders under your command. A combat system as indepth as M&B but with better audio and visual feedback. Lots of weaponry and bringing in some magical relics and shit. Medieval strike forces fucking up castles from the inside before a siege. Cutting off supply lines or poising food, etc.
