HOW TO INSTALL THIS GAME
1. Install HF pAppLoc:

You'll need japanese locale to run most japanese games, including Artificial Academy 2. This is the easiest way to set it up, no need to play with Windows settings or anything.
2. Get the Virgin Edition:

Follow instructions on the torrent's description or in the readme, it's not hard. It's just the japanese game with DLCs, official patches and shit, NO TRANSLATION OR CRACK YET.
3. Install the HongFire patch:

This is the crack, launchers, translation, uncensor, cheats, missing append sets and patches, etc. For best result choose the HF translation, not the /aa2g/ one and the MKIII 3D uncensor.
And that's it for the full vanilla experience. Yes, those are big downloads. You may need up to 30 GBs of hard drive space for a modded install, suck it up. No, this game won't work with Wine on Linux, just give up. Play in a VM or dual-boot.

Because being able to preview the character you are sharing is fucking genius. Seriously, which would you prefer, an image that shows the character or a simple file that is just waifu.aa2? Of course, it's possible for people to swap the image with a different character but that's not any worse than the alternative.

well the applocale hasn't been updated in years. Sucks that they stopped allowing torrents to be posted on HF because all it does is make downloads more vulnerable, and mean that links can be lost forever. I tried recently to update my old AA2 game with new mods and shit and I think I broke it. I swear to god it's impossible to touch this game without having some shit coming out.
