When I looked into his facebook, it became clear that he had, at some point, became a flagrant homosexual. Now this is even more noteworthy because, looking into his family, his brother also appears to be gay. What are the odds of two kids from the same parents BOTH turning out gay? If the theory that homosexuality is caused by sexual abuse, then not only would that explain why BOTH of the two kids were gay, but why the one committed suicide. Going even further, it turned out to me that, after browsing through his social media, he was a very active traveler. I believe it's possible something was going on in his household, and the reason he traveled so much was because he was trying to get away from the source of his abuse, but couldn't deal with the everlasting emotional trauma and finally ended his own life.
And what's even more fucked up about this, if true? Nobody in the family is speaking out about it. If there is or was sexual abuse in his childhood, the perpetrator has most likely gotten away with it. Considering how small our neighborhood was, I highly doubt I wouldn't have known if one of my schoolmate's parents or relatives got arrested for kiddie-diddling.
