Best and most unappreciated games on their respective consoles thread
oh my god
It ain't mario, get some glasses
...
Dual destinies sucks dick though
It's the worst PW game
Y-you're joking, right?
It was fun but it wasn't close to being as good as the first.
No.
...
The last case alone makes it a lot better than DD.
halo
The localization quality drops sharply in case 3 (and only case 3; thank christ since case 3 is the worst one anyway) for some reason but it's still the vastly superior game.
If anything JFA is better than TaT becase TaT is the only game of the original trilogy to have a lame final case.
I just want the original writer back to make more games.
But the miracle never happen
I liked the final case in TaT, though it did come out of left field that Godot was on the other side of the bridge. That was probably my only problem with it.
I haven't played Dual Destinies though, so I don't know if that'd be the worst Ace Attorney. I'd probably have to say either JFA, TaT or Apollo.
Both JFA and Apollo is held up by their final cases though, whereas TaT is held down.
That game has best girl, DD doesn't
It's not unappreciated, it was just boring compared to the atmosphere of the first.
Not the best game on the 3DS but it's a fine game, possibly Intelligent Systems' best in recent years.
If that's their best game in years, they need to close up shop and become family men, jesus christ.
Best girl tied with Ema.
its green mario
...
trips of truth
Every time I see someone shitting on it I can't help but think that Fire Emblem cancer has spread.
Best 3DS game
And the original game is a launch title on the Gamecube
Quality under appreciated tennis action.
...
I honestly forgot that this game existed.
OP said unappreciated, faggots
These game needed even more love.
You need to fall on a sharp object.
So whats exactly great about Dark Moon? I tried playing it several times due to the amount of love I had for the original Luigi's mansion… But I couldn't just get into it.
Nice varied levels instead of staying in a mansion the whole time. Lots of replayability thanks to hidden things and a more stage like format.
A lot of small interesting additions to the gameplay straight from the beginning.
Gorgeous animations and 3D effects (one of the few games that actually looks good in 3D).
With every stage being separated from each other, this encourages people to explore more to find hidden bonuses.
Really well done darkness and dynamic lights.
Actually interesting physics puzzles.
It's a lot of small things, it takes the basic idea of Luigi's Mansion and reworks it in a fresh way without making a completely derivative game.
The only thing that isn't as good is the music.
...
If it had been better known and sold more, perhaps the devs wouldn't have fucked up the second game so much, in turn perhaps allowing them to release the third one to the West.
Also changing the fucktarded mission scoring system so that Shocktrooper/Sniper spam followed by Alicia-rushing wasn't the only viable method of getting an A ranking.
Maybe not with Holla Forums, but with everyone else.
MY FUCKING NIGGA
Underrated post.
Also it was Next level games that made it.
They made great title after title then this came out and it was still okay.
Now they are making Metroid: Federation Force
What happened?
You'd be surprised how an otherwise decent company can go from developing stuff on their own or at least being hired to do decent ports/remakes for various companies, to suddenly becoming a company's bitch and relegated to making shit people either don't want or that they likely don't want to do.
I suppose only time will tell if they're going to keep making games for actual systems, or go back to Mobile Port Bitch Hell.
It's like downhill jam but less shit
Dude I found one that's even better than those!
shit taste
