I've mentioned it in previous threads over the past few months or so, but changing meanings of words to give SJWs the moral high-ground is a favorite tactic of theirs. They'll take words that generally imply "bad", such as racism, sexism, censorship, etc., and skew the definitions so that they're exempt from falling under those labels/actions, and have anyone who opposes them fall under those terms. My favorite example is the push for "racism" to mean "power + privilege", so they can be as discriminatory against white people as they like without falling under the definition of racism. And expanding upon the term otherwise, so even the most innocuous shit falls under the racism umbrella. Similarly, with censorship, any time people start to refute their shit, they scream censorship, even if their opinions aren't being removed from discussion. If they censor things that they find "problematic" (another word that has lost all meaning), it's "localization", for the "benefit of society", or something similar.

As to people in opposition of SJWs reclaiming such terms, there obviously has to be reasonable justification as to using those terms as self-descriptors. That is, point out that you fall under such categories because of how ridiculously expanded SJWs have made them. Point out WHY the far-reaching definitions are nonsensical and are intended to shut down opposition. Frankly, a lot of normalfags are pissed off at being called racist, sexist, etc. for things that don't fall into such categories. It's a large reason why Trump has gained the momentum that he has. There's, at the very least, potential to revert such terms into more moderate things.
