Their commanding officer, Kurt Meyer, proudly claimed,
"I know every single one of these grenadiers. The oldest is barely eighteen. The boys have not yet learned how to live, but by God they know how to die!"
Only 17 years old but they knew what they were fighting for. This is our youth, not the creatures the jews have created.
The greatest tragedy was not the fate of the youths that died; rather that of those that lived - can you imagine the feeling of having grown up during the 3rd Reich only to see it crashing down at the cusp of your adulthood? To be absorbed into the ne-nazified State, to be ruled by the dregs of humanity and to have your formative years vilified. A fate worse than death.

I remember reading about how the allies found artillery being manned by 12 year olds at the end of the war. Their fathers and brothers most likely killed in earlier fighting.
The allies had to be careful immediately post war. They did not want to inspire a guerrilla resistance movement to form such as the Werwolfs (they had a few successes).
Thomas Fisher
I don't think you understand the entirety of that. Imagine being given grace by a man you surrendered to at the end of the war to avoid the camps but ended up fighting communists in Africa until you physically couldn't anymore and having kikes constantly looking for you after you left Africa. That is hell.
Samuel Diaz
Are you supporting child soldiers? I understand the circumstances, but Hitler himself stated numerous times that no matter the event children will not fight.
Michael Butler
He never said child soldiers, these were all over 16. Until the '80s a child soldier had to be 14 or under
Liam Harris
You know what pedos say: "Get'em while they are young!".
Jose Torres
alot of these guys ended up in the French Foreign Legion after WWII. Many died later in French Indo China at Dien Ben Phu. Those that survived were later in Africa and rebelled against the the government of France. There might still be a few of these guys left at Puyloubier the legion retirement home. They would be like 97-100 now though.

The "children" you see fighting are hardly that. Historically men fought at an extremely young age or at least trained from a very young age. Culture has been deteriorating for the past 300 years at least.
Hunter Hall
It's about winning not what I philosophically support. Will allowing/forcing "children" to fight help or hurt your effectiveness? That is what I care about. If you can train 12 year olds to man AA guns and artillery, you free up men to fight in more difficult duties. WW2 wasn't fought with shield and sword. The physical advantage of finishing puberty was almost irrelevant to elevating your AA or artillery with the handwheels. Children were more than capable. When you've got cities/villages mass suiciding themselves and their children to avoid the bolsheviks, it's not even a question anymore. (mass suicide in Demmin/Berlin etc)
