Today, I want to talk to you (Americans) about the National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities (NFA-H).
Why should you give a flying fuck? Because it's your tax dollars at work going to fund leftists and their "art", which is more often than not a flimsy cover for funding political action.
Thankfully, Open the Books has just dropped a new report on how your money is spent.
Let's take a look at some samples, shall we?

OP, your formattinf sucks, but this is important. The kikes are strangling real artists with this bullshit daily. I make classical art, murals, sculptures, engraving, and I could never get one of these deals because I am not a kike and produce real art that takes hundreds of hours of constant labor. My arms BURN as I pour my soul through them into a piece of true beauty, more so than they ever did in a day of labor as a welder, while these kikes literally shit on a piece of scrap and collect our shekels for it. I truly, deeply, hate them… and this is what brought me to National Socialism, and home to Esoteric Hitlerism. The Aryan soul expresses it's self through works of beauty and inspires his brothers through it, while the kike vomits up excrement and bile for shekels. Please end this, whatever it takes.
I would like to spend my days creating objects of beauty and inspiration, but in this world, I must seek only death, for no beauty can exist in a land defiled by the kike.
That's the issue with this crap.
These people get money basically for free, and when it isn't going to the actual "arts" (if you count pictures of feminists as art), it's going to politically motivated work that shouldn't be receiving public funding.

And why are 71 entities with over $1 *billion* in assets receiving grants to begin with?
By the way, the NFA-H average employee salary is $96,500 (FY2016). Total taxpayer cost – adding an estimated 31 percent in benefits – increases the average cost to $126,415 per employee. There are 35 individual job classifications at NFA-H. Two of the top three most highly compensated employees are auditors: Ronald K. Stith ($179,700) and Laura M. Davis ($177,822).
So if any of you enterprising young fellows want steady pay and a chance to fuck disrupt the enemy, consider getting a NFA-H job. Apparently, you'll be well paid and then you could direct the money to people who actually deserve.
Bonus round: try to figure out how many politicians' wives (or husbands) sit on the boards of some of these non-profits. I can't imagine any other reason why Congress is voting to increase the budget rather than cut it down to size.
Wouldn't we be better off by creating our own organization to funnel gibs out of the government, and show real artwork?

I know plenty of "artist" types; there's a whole subculture of academics/artists that take in 90% of their income through scamming grants and getting federal money. They thrive around larger cities, resort towns, and college towns; and know how to scam the system in such a way that they and their family rely on handouts their whole lives while able to get Ph.D. level educations without incurring any debt

I already stated the answer. We create our own Artists Guild.
This is true in Australia as well. Endless useless art cunts sucking govt teet and producing junk that's all about the description and abstract theme. It's more desirable for them to spend their time filling in government grant forms than leveling up. Good for them but sucks for me because I hate forms and begging for my livelihood.

The whole system is kiked. It's designed to keep real artists out and only hacks in. I saw a mural gig for the city when I lived in a pozzed shithole on the west coast, and it required a giant form to be filled out, licensing, and (((accreditation))) with no options to just submit examples of your work and a bid/quote for the job. They wound up getting some abstract bullshit that I'd of been ashamed to sign, and the dumbass tried to do it all at once in a town that always rains and called the quits early instead of working til the job was done… so the paint ran everywhere and it was weeks before he came back to fix it. I could've done a better job by doing an outline and passing out weed and paintbrushes to the street kids and having them color it like a coloring book, and they'd of defended it instead of defacing it, because they got to help. "Beautification" my ass. At least now I live in a town where real artists put up real work and it's made out of fucking bonze.
In all seriousness, how hard would it be for us to create a real guild and get government funding to make real art that the people would genuinely appreciate? I'm willing to do my part and if I gave a fuck about the gibs, I'd work a different field. rofl, what am I saying, I work a different field every month for real income and take gigs as they come, while pumping out what I enjoy creating.

This is very interesting personally because I work for a non-profit that gets NEA money. My job is fun, as I get to build and paint pieces for museum displays and make a comfortable living doing creative work, which is rare. But on the other hand, it's the first time I ever worked with a bunch of liberals and have a jew as a manager. That experience redpilled me further. It's the kind of place where someone tattled on me because they thought I was conservative (jokes on them, they have no idea). And I can say with confidence that any type of right wing person, view, or art is never given the chance. I feel conflicted, I finally have a fun decent paying job doing art full time, but I work within a system with gatekeepers and no doubt my job would not be there if NEA money dries up. Seeing how wasteful many grants are, I think it's time to support abolishing the NEA and follow my gut…. Get my shit in order, quit, do freelance work, and get more involved in politics. It's the only way.

I don't know what exactly your job constitutes, but you could arrange abstract shapes that "just so happen" to include themes and shapes when viewed a particular way
