So update on the cats. Just got back from the vet with them.

The one with the broken hip is healing and recovering perfectly with no problems.

The black one has perked up considerably though is still somewhat subdued. But not so subdued that she couldn't terrify the entire vet surgery and require not only a pair of armoured gloves to handle but some rather nasty contraption called a crush cage to control her while they gave her a few injections. And two people working to keep her under some vague semblance of control.
Despite all that the armoured gloves did not proved so well armoured after all and the crush cage was not terribly effective until there were two of us putting our weight on it. Only then was the vet able to safely reach in and give her the injections.

They think she ate something that disagreed with her or came into contact with something, probably a gardening chemical.
If she hasn't perked up by saturday I should take her back.
Got some stuff to put in her water and going to get some lighter biscuit for her since that maine coon stuff the others get may be a bit much for her right now.
Still with that performance. I think she's probably going to be fine.

The GW range has a distinct lack of poses for their guardsmen outside of action/running so i'v been working on making some prone guardsmen hugging the dirt so to speak. Also had a portentious experience involving a fucking huge spider. Iv not seen a storm like that before.I watched the whole thing and at one point I counted 35 lighting flashes in a single minute. Every other storm iv seen has been, at most, 2 or 3 flashes per min but the sky was like a fucking disco strobe last night. Went on for ages too. Was worried it would knock out the power because I could see lighting constantly licking the hill near the power generator. Some of that fork lightning was ,magnificent to behold.
I took the storm to be a portent of some kind anyway.

Holla Forums loyalists and tired of the bomberharris/muhginnie/CIVIC etc shitposting divisive nonsense that elements of old brit/pol/ continously spammed and which had alienated the rest of Holla Forums lead to a mass banning from the mods (after certain elements old brit/pol/ took it too far) the druids formed a splinter board that has endured, thrived and come into its own as something wholly seperate from our erstwhile former shitposting bretheren.
To begin with we were just another brit/pol/ splinter board, albeit a loyalist one with ties to Holla Forums (we wanted to keep our hearthside position on Holla Forums rather than move to some unknown echo chamber where our memes would have no chance to disseminate into the wider user sphere: ie /brit/ & /newbrit/) so what began as essentially holding on to our outpost, over time morphed into what you see today. This is due to the Druids revealing themselves to us via numerous signs and portents which we began to interpret and act upon. Hence the birth of druid/pol/ and the lodge of the B.O.N.D.
This solidified and became ritual and tradition and druid/pol/, in time has managed to repair the frayed relations (thanks to old brit/pol/s constant antagonism) with the wider board.
As now we exist as a small but dedicated fraternal order who focus on both the mundane and esoteric aspects of british nationalism and the culture war, with particular focus on brotherhood, self sufficiency and the weaponising of arcane and esoteric means against the current tyranny of the occupying regime. roof window leak is fixed, I sanded the window frame down and reset it onto gutter sealant silicone, its been fine during the storm and recent bad weather. This means I can re-carpet the roof and walls and finish the trims to make it look nice.

100watt solar panel fitted, total solar power is now about 115watts, recharges the batteries by 40ah on an overcast day. Im completely free of mains power in all respects.

2x 110ah batteries and a 60ah reserve battery wired to the solar panels, usage at about 25-35ah/day charging 3 phones, running 15watts of LED lights in the evening, playing a DAB radio for ~4 hours, laptop for 2 hours every other night, and occasionally running water pump for the sink.
Got another 110ah battery coming next week to swap for the 60ah reserve battery.

60ah reserve battery will go into my wee van with a 1500w inverter to use as a drill battery charger / mobile power supply for mains tools.

Depends on what you are doing tbh lad.
Stuff like the Bornless Ritual followed by LBRP are usually prerequisites to achieve protection but you only need to make use of this type of ritual if you are performing the more 2spooky shit like goetic invocation or summoning spirits and the like. Things like scrying, astrological charting, consulting the Tarot and other forms of divination etc dont really require any protection so to speak although you can always throw in a few LBRPs for extra safety if you are so inclined. Also things like charms, prayers, mantras etc are useful providing they are charged by faith of some kind. You have to believe they work if you actually want them to work if that makes sense. Also salt. Never hurts to have salt to sprinkle as it is the alchemical purifier. A pile of rocksalt at the threshhold of your door is meant to keep evil spirits at bay. Some folklore accounts tell that they have an aversion to iron too - thats why a lot of old houses have a horseshoe hung above the door. Iron would probably repel the wights tbh lad. Especially druidically charged iron. If you got, say, a cast iron dagger then ritualistically consecrate it to the druids and the B.O.N.D and, providing you believe it, it would a ward against evil spirits because you have charged it with your will and intent and that has some effect on its composition (you essentially, through your charging of an item with your will & intent, bring an 'astral' version of the desired object into being which in turn resonates with the object in the mundane sphere. You have to have the belief though - if you ended up doing like a half arsed ritual, put little effort in and expected nothing or worth to happen then the results would reflect the will and intent. It is symbolic, arcane and weird but thats the way the occult always seems to goe. It follows and adheres to a rough set of laws and principles that one can follow but they are at odds with conventional science & rationality.

About a year ago I had a dream I was in an old drab little motel wherein a zombie like creature talked to me about my future; he offered me an easy way out as he walked behind me stating "Life is slow - it's hard, why not take the easy way and accept my offer as the reaper?" Before his jaw began to hyper extend past normal humans lengths, ready to bite down onto the nape of my neck.
I responded simply by casually pushing his head to the side and stating "I'm not ready to die yet - I want to be a detective before I go".
After stating that, the door opened and a cop walked in stating "there's been a murder, you're needed" I followed him, and after walking through the door everything became engulfed by an utterly brilliant light before I woke up.

It wasn't a bad dream mind you, it just made me think about my future.
I considered being a cop, private investigator, detective etc as a kid, but I never really got into it - until the dream.

Dream interpretation is messy. Especially of old dreams where details will no longer be remembered.
In all honesty I would say just go with your gut.

I don't do dream interpretation. But I do know that the meanings of dreams can be *very* contextual. With your own unique insight, you need to liken these aspects in your dream to things that are currently affecting you, or just on your mind.
Just a thought though:
In your dream you chose a hard, rewarding life over the easy road. Or at least, you chose your dream. I imagine you had this dream at a time when you were struggling with your future, and the dream was there to provide guidance.

This is a ritual of my own devising (taking aspects from several different disciplines) and im still ironing out a few kinks. The oral tradition is long gone.
We don't even know much in regards to what the Britons worshiped only that they worshiped nature.

And yes, there are reliable sources from Greeks and Romans. Some, however, have to be looked at with a critical eye. You have to understand that what they wrote was obviously true to an extent, but in favor of the Empire. They were critical of the Celts, but not all were liars. For example, Caesar claimed that all Druids traveled to England for their training. This may be true to some extent, but current study suggests that it actually came down from the Baltics in the form of river and oak tree worship (rightly so).

No, I don't study any of that. I study, observe, perform, and create full working rituals. I practice divination in many forms (mainly Ogham casting, and looking for omens in the wild) I'm a reconstructionist, if you haven't guessed.

Luckily, I don't need solid evidence of how ritual was observed 3500 years ago. If being reasonable, we can safely assume that even if Druidism survived over the centuries, it wouldn't look much different compared to today's practices. Times change, people change, practices change. However, this doesn't give us a free ride (or rather it SHOULD not give us a free ride) to throw in outside ethnic traditions into our very sacred western faith. It would seem this has become unavoidable, though.

I am a dying breed of Druid, and trying to sway others into honoring their culture and ancestors is becoming tiresome. I'm sure Hitler felt much the same way when he was trying to get his people to take pride in their Nordic culture. But I'm no NatSoc, I'm a Social Tribalist (a lower form of NatSoc TBH).

As for the issue of your distaste for B.O.N.D's scantioned useage of western esoteric tradition, i'd argue that it provides a solid framework for diverse magickal operation that would not otherwise be available to the lodge and the individual. If you have a viable alternative to the tarot, the scrying mirror and the methods of sigilization in employ here, by all means share it with us. As for now, if we wish to apply ourselves into the esoteric practices of a druidic fraternal order, the framework of western esoterica, along with self-actuated praxis and applications of folk magick where possible is our best possible option. Just because it came after the druids, that does not netavistock it. The combustion engine came long after the druids too, as did fire arms, yet do you think the druids would be averse to using them if they had the opportunity? The answer is pretty clear and the same goes for the application of more modern esoteric systems, especially if, as if the druids case, most of the original material has been lost.

To go deeper, duality is an intergral part of the occult practice and philosophy (take my grandfather for a good example of this btw - a welsh eisteddfod druid and a christian. He had no problem reconciling this duality of being) Things that initially seem to contradict can often instead complement in diverse unforseen ways.

In my tradition we don't call on the quarters or the watchtowers. None of that. Nor do we see the divines as archetypes. I want to make that clear.

I prefer to divine with Ogham. My method is a bit different than others. I prefer to use wooden dowels with each dowel being rectangular in shape, and each dowel wood type corresponding to the individual Oghams. I.E. Beith is made of Birch, and Straif is made of Blackthorn. In my tradition, the effectiveness of your divination is based on your creative mind, and the amount of care and dedication you put into the creation of your personal divination tools.

As for the method: it's actually a simple cast of 3-9 Oghams, depending on your purpose. However that's where the simplicity ends. Every Ogham has its meaning, but depending on what you cast you could get two, or even three different meanings from a single Ogham. Thus it's very important to be wise, have a close relationship with the divine you are requesting divination from, and have deep understanding of omens/interpretations.

I hope this is helpful, and if you guys want to learn more, then do what my ArchDruid suggests, "consult your local tree".

I was thinking that it must suck that you English people lost a part of what makes a national community feel national. Everyone knows English, not even in your own threads or when you're traveling abroad you can feel like being under your own kin. When I'm talking to other Dutch ppl and we share memes others don't get it's because we both share this insular cultural background that is only for us. But British can never have that comfort to that extend even purely non-american British things are easy to look up or get into for anyone who went to school. You'll never have the experience of sharing something with someone of your own kin in a foreign environment to that extend.

I really thought about this alot recently because I was abroad with other students from universities all around the world doing agriculture in Argentinians. And me and the other two Dutch girls could always fall back to speaking Dutch when we wanted some cultural privacy or missed home. Same for the Spanish guys, the two croats and the Koreans. All those groups would hang out with only their kin once in a while, going to a bar together and even when we all did something together those groups kept forming up based on lingo-cultural bonds. The only guys who didn't were the English speaking ones. Sometimes Dutch ppl and Swiss ppl would hang up with the Germans because we all speak German and our cultures have some unique stuff we have in common (children cartoons lel). But English? That was like a non-group..everyone spoke English any other time anyways. Infact the Brits they never even did English exclusive things and didn't even bother forming such a group. They all split up and tagged along with the friends they made like everyone does in a way but they never sat together as just British ppl. They never could just have private conversations no-one else understood while working either. I thought that must realy sux. Maybe you guys should adopt anglish or something to get that back.

Doesnt really bother us tbh. The only downside is it has made us complacent in not learining other languages because the world and his wife all speak our tongue. There is some pride in it tbh too, in the fact our language is so supreme as to be adopted as the world wide lingua franca.
