Both Oblivion and Skyrim's lewd mod communities were/are (were for oblivion) extremely devoted to their goals thanks to dick unity. The problem is that Loverslab admins banned loli content because they were fucking cucks. There was a well known autistic modder for Oblivion who made a monster girl mod that got banned midway through developing it for arguing that loli should be legal.

Basically Skyrim is the best ero game for quantitative content, quality not so much unless you get really in deep with how the mods worked.

What's the issue? Mesh and texture issues are extremely easy to figure out usually. Usually the fault is conflicts with other other mods. It's why you need to use Wrye Bash or OBMM (Wrye Bash is the best though)

I was actually surprised with a plugin they had for LoversLab called Joburg that made NPCs rape each other in the streets. If it was done by anyone else, it would be a simple clock that every 15 minutes picks a random NPC and makes him rape another random nearby NPC. But those guys made it incredibly detailed, with the Responsability value deciding the odds that someone would do it and their relationship with the victim changing if it actually ocurred and what they would say during sex. It even had some neat details like couples recognizing each other and "sleeping" together in the same bed at night.

LoversLab did more with the AI than their Radiant AI ever did.

I overwrote too much stuff when I installed the monstergirl mod and fucked up the penis meshes to where they fly off into infinity, leaving a texture-less hole. Tried Wrye but it said everything was fine, although maybe I missed something. I haven't fucked the game up to the point where I needed a clean install for years now, though, so it should just be a matter of time before I fix it.

At the risk of sounding like a huge faggot, are there any starter modpacks? I've spent easily over 10 times the amount of time modding Beth's shit games than playing them and I just can't find the motivation in me to start over again with Oblivion. The only Beth game I have installed at the moment is a lightly modded Morrowind and I've pretty much dropped that in favor of waiting for OpenMW.

That's a problem with the Skeleton, reinstall your Universal Skeleton mod or find a better one. Check the mod for compatible ones too.

Try reinstalling the meshes for LAPF. If that doesn't work do what said and reinstall the universal skeleton. It's one of those things that often need trial and error as I've been there as well. I get that shit all the time whenever I install new mods and it's made me extremely apprehensive to the point where I check the any new mods files as a result.

LAPF is the standard porn framework for use. It's a bit difficult to get working but if you follow the instructions well enough you'll get it going.

This is the biggest hurdle for the games and why people often just forego it and watch hentai instead. Modding Oblivion and Skyrim inevitably means you're going to have to learn (often through trial and error) how shit works and functions. Once you pass that hurdle though you'll only be spending maybe 2 hours fixing shit to get it to works.

There are several I've seen and used, but I've forgotten all of them. Just go to Lover's Lab and follow the instructions for setting up Lovers with PK. The experience you get, even from following the tutorial, will be very valuable once you start adding on cherry-picked mods of your choice.

If you're not willing to set it all up with custom companions (which is the right way to do it, look up a guide and download the construction set) you could use an addon like Familiar Faces. It'll be a little bit buggier, but if you're willing to put up with it you'll save time learning about how to work with creating plugins.

This, it's like playing on Legendary difficulty but the enemies actually die. It's more realistic too since blades are supposed to kill things quick. Also makes armor actually matter.

In my heart, I know there isn't.

Literally any female girl and just select your character in console and "setscale #" so they're small. Max size is 2 and minimal is 0. So just do 0 and they will be the smallest you can get. The only problem is that since Oblivions first person a shit that the view angle won't match your actual height. Nor will the sex mods with LAPF be right because the animations take place with a standard size. There's an LAPF mod that fixes this by making the character the appropriate size but unfortunately you won't be able to see your loli character be fucked in her small form. This is a limitation with Oblivion, not much you can do about it sadly.

Though if you want a character that LOOKS like a child simply look around the nexus for races that look young and do what I said about the setscale. You can probably find a specific size that's small yet not to small to break the first person view angle.

Though to answer your initial question about it not being loli yet also good lookign women do what I mentioned earlier and just look through races. I prefer Moonshadow elves as they look cute/sexy yet don't look overworked through modding so they look ugly as sin. Synx and Chocolate Elves are a god alternative if you don't like the face tattoos for Moonshadow you can remove them with a little know how. don't ask me how I don't remember

Also I should add if you want tattoos/skin edits with your characters I can probably do so in photoshop. They're pretty easy to do provided you have the dds extension. But it's pretty easy to do yourself after you get the extension and use the Tribal Tattoo mod provided here.

Just a feature of SexLab. Puts your camera into freemode when entering a sex scene, you can use it outside of one if you bind a key to it though. I have it set to the scroll wheel button.

I miss my adventures as a wandering night rapist, stopping by that one town I don't even remember the name of anymore. It had that quest with the fighter's guild dealing with some knockoff guild that used drugs and more importantly, the three sisters inn.

The best I've found was a simple tweak that prevents you and the AI from magically turning 180 degrees combined with that one combat mod that makes it tactical and magical barrel rolls, and guns where everyone guns down everyone else but that's a little too cover shooter for me because of how quickly you can be killed.

You can't save Skyrim. You either make it a decent-to-good sex game or a decent survival game which you drop after a few hours.

I did have fun when I did turn it into a survival game though. Cold, wet, usual hunger/thirst/sleep mods, camping gear and alternate start. Started as an Argonian sailor shipwrecked on the northernmost point of Skyrim so I had to scramble off of the ship and get to shore. Couldn't even leave the ship because of the values of cold and wet killing me, so I had to turn them down. Got to shore and found a campsite and warmed up, got comfy right away.

Again, you can't save Skyrim.

Not necessarily wet, but rather the cold.
I tried that mod and it was pretty great. Getting wet lowers your cold resistance which means you'll freeze much faster. It actually used the game engine cold resistance for this, so you'd be more vulnerable to ice spells as well.

It was a pretty neat mod that made it quite immersive your aproach to lakes and rivers. You'd prefer finding a bridge or shallow water to avoid getting wet if you were on cold climates, and coming into a city after a long treck in the snow, it was very comfy finding a fireplace and just idling a bit near it.

The problem is, the more you try to make your character an actual actor in the world, an entity that exists beyond XP and Gold, the more you notice how static and empty the rest of the world is. You'll end up caring a lot about your character but your companions will seem empty golems shortly after and then entire cities will look like background props instead.

I really liked the Real Time Interactions mod for Oblivion since it made talking with NPCs actually take some time, so you could stop by a tavern and have a chat with the locals for a while, instead of just pressing T and waiting. It helped the world seem more alive when you could actually talk about trivial shit with the other NPCs just for the sake of making friends.

Skyrim has a pretty robust modding community, there are plenty of mods out there that significantly improve the gameplay. Sure, Skyrim is still a lifeless wasteland full of draugr and soulless NPCs about whom you'll never care, but there are even mods to fix that, adding tons of voiced NPCs with their own lives, worries, problems, quests… Basically everything Todd promised. Voicework in mods is not usually top-notch, but then again, voicework in Bethesda games isn't really top-notch either.

There's so much more to Skyrim than sex mods. Yes, I played Morrowind and Oblivion, I'm not some Skyrim babby, but honestly, I could never go back to those games after playing ultra-modded Skyrim. I don't use sex mods.

Like I said before, those mods don't help as much as you think. They are band-aid for problems, not solutions, and before long, you'll face the same problem yet again except you invested way more effort in fixing it this time and still failed.

The civil war is still shit. You can make it to have way more NPCs and you can even get that mod that allows you to lose battles. It's still incredibly far from a political conflict, still has little or no consequences for you or anyone in the world except some changes in banners, and it still makes you feel a special snowflake with the world revolving around you.

You can get any amount of mods you want to tweak combat. At the end of the day, you're still mashing your weapon against the other guy in an atrition war that's decided not by your mechanical skill but by how many Health Restore potions you have.
Wanna laugh yourself into depression? Get any "auto potion" mod, stock up on Health Restore and head to some high level dungeon. Watch how the first fights take a long while to finish but you still win and yet the next fights against equally skilled oponents are always lost because you have no potions anymore.

You can get survival mods that add the need to eat and sleep and you can even extend them to your companions.
But the inventory is still a fucking mess and even with the SkyUI, it's incredibly un-immersive. Food loses it's charm completely and so do most gear you can get, managing your companions inventory is already a chore in vanilla, having to do so for food even more so.

And your companions are always gonna be walking rocks. You could just level Conjuration and summon skeletons for the exact same experience. Companions added by mods tend to have their own backstory, but it's just a quest where their personality shines and after that they get their mandatory lobotomy that makes them brainless golems like everyone else.

At least the porn mods add something entirely new to the game and completely re-purpose it to something else. It's hard to care about how artificial the routine an NPC has when all you want is plow her ass or squeeze that rack.

Ever played Grandia, mate? It was an incredibly linear JRPG for the PSX, and yet for the first part of the game, that still took a very long while, that game could actually give me the sense that I was going on an adventure, that I was exploring the world and going where no man had gone before. Companions there had their own agenda and things to say, personality to share with you. There wasn't the need to eat or sleep, but they camped sometimes and had talks during dinner before heading to bed and those were some of the greatest moments in the game for me. Those were the parts where companions showed they were more than just NPCs, those were the parts about preparing for what's coming next.

Ever played Elona, mate? It's a roguelike with an overworld and no permadeath by default. You can get pets there and raise them like you so they help in combat, little girls being often the very first pet you get. You have to eat, sleep and prepare meals in that game, as well as work hard to win the afection of your pets. Let me tell you, no game has ever managed to make me feel the same when I arrive into a town, buy enough supplies and cook food for the whole party, share it with them and all have lunch together. Not a cinematic, I actually have to do all this manually.
Even better, if one of your pets knows how to cook and likes you enough, when you wake up in the morning, she might have cooked breakfast for everyone as well. Or even just snug in with you at night.
It's fucking pixel shit, barely better than nethack and yet it makes my whole party feel more alive and interesting than any mod in Skyrim ever did.

Yeah ok here's my load order. Mind you this has happened before so I uninstalled it. So I don't see how YUP would help.

first thing is to deactivate mods and see if it runs, which luckily for you wont take very long. (its a good idea to try and launch the game after installing every few mods such that its easier to diagnose problems if there are any)

Yes I have NVSE, anyways so I deactivated all the mods & esms and the game still gets a black screen on launch (which i have to alt-tab to get out of) when launching through either fnv4gb or nvse. Launching for the default falloutnv.exe just crashes the game.

you can somewhat fix the combat by making it very high damage (or making everyone have low health which works better with the armour system), ie if someone power attacks you with a 2h and youre not wearing full plate or invested in hp you die in one hit, or at least take a lot of damage. makes it somewhat dark soulsy and you have to do more dodging and blocking and whatever

Except there's no real dodging in the game. Every NPC tracks like a motherfucker and the best you can do is close in, strike and move backwards. Which doesn't even work in Skyrim due to reduced speed walking backwards.
And even if it worked, it would just be yet another way to cheese the game.

There was a mod for Oblivion that did away with the tracking. The moment you started an attack, you couldn't change your direction until it was done. It also applied to NPCs and it sounded really great on paper.
However, you could still move so you'd start an attack on the side and move sideways so it would connect with an enemy, while every NPC would start a very long winded strike that you easily just moved to side to dodge and spammed light attacks on him while he was going.

It was essentially a mod to actually make it more "souls-like" and it was bloody horrible simply because the game can't take it into account and it becomes way too fucking easy to cheese. No matter how much you mod it, the very game limitations will always keep it retarded.

All enemies in the gamebryo engine have the Zombie AI "run until in range, attack at will", the most sofisticated thing they do is look for cover when using ranged weapons, but that's it and that's why you can't fix it.

Thanks to the LL loli purge and the Oblivion community moving into retirement, no one has setup a proper repository for Oblivion loli. There was a ton of content for that and most of it was from grorious nippon. You need certain races for the proper faces and luckily the setbody mod takes care of the rest. However you have to go looking for the right dresses and learn how to get the animations to align properly in-game.

At this point you can still get the all-in-one race mod from LL which includes some x117 types, but they're the barebones crappy ones. Some of the breakable armor mods include loli-compatible shapes. And as I said, you will need setbody.

Skyrim is too new to crumble and survived the loli purge. It had A LOT of growing pains and adapted from the purge. It still has a lot of shoes to fill because Oblivion had a ton of degeneracy mods to play with, but it's slowly getting there. At least for now it's a good screenshot simulator and fills boorus like nobody's business.

There's one thing that can change all of this and Bethesda was very cunning about it. The reason why Skyrim had growing pains to begin with is because Bethesda's brand of gamebryo is a piece of shit and is designed to be volatile. Modders have to tiptoe around it and players have to carefully ensure their mods can peacefully coexist in a way that Oblivion would laugh at. Oblivion was an unstable piece of shit but Skyrim set a new low and makes Oblivion look stable and strong. But I digress, this shake up could come from the Special Edition. It could easily split the community in two like it did with Oblivion. When Skyrim came out Oblivion was like a grey and grizzled old man who still had tricks the youngsters couldn't master. Skyrim's modding scene has stabilized and if SE is as much of a mixed bag as Skyrim was on launch, it will cause another shake up and further delay the potential degeneracy and debauchery people fall in love with.

General advice: start now and save backups for everything. One day your favorite mod you never knew was your favorite the entire time could disappear and you will be left waiting for someone to break the rules and re-upload someone's precious work without their permission. Too many times this happens. You can be the guy who backed up precious sought after mods that people thought were lost forever.

Modpacks for Skyrim are hard because install order and compatibility are pretty important.

There are certainly lots and lots of un-compiled mod packs (well, mod lists, that is), but pre-modded anything I find to just be asking for trouble - let alone a pre-modded installation for anything nearly as volatile as a Morrowind/"Creation" engine game.

Although note that there is some mod management tool that's had its development hyped a bit this year with automated mod pack configuration as its key feature.
