I think the one major thing that made SH2 legitimately terrifying to me was the sound design. Everything from enemy moans, movements, the radio, etc. Hearing embed made me shit bricks.
Same. I figured it would do something with the bosses outside Gascoigne. Using it to intimidate people online was fun too.
