Me and my friends even created a fun way to make the game "multiplayer", turn on all those cheats, you can give yourself as much ammo as you need or infinite, try to survive as long as you can not using health cheats but healing by any other means is acceptable.

There was even a glitch to turn all the pedestrians into strippers using this, can't remember how to do it exactly though.

I'm playing MHFU on PPSSPP right now and I use savescumming for carves and gathering and also frequently use accelerated game speed while lurking for monsters or farming pokke farm.

I used cheatengine in Sengoku Rance to get trough my first few playtroughs and not have to look at the wiki every 3 seconds to understand how things work. Also I'm pretty sure you have to defeat the demon lord on your first playtrough to be able to do a new game plus effectively making the first playtrough the hardest.

I used a console command to unlocked the last character in don't starve because adventure mode was boring as fuck.

I generally only cheat in a singleplayer game after I've already beaten it at least once, though I will savescum on a first playthrough if it's for something RNG-related. Taken to the next level if I'm emulating, I'll savestate in that case, since it's the exact same as savescumming the RNG thing, just faster.

The only time I really went crazy with it was in Gunz: The Duel with there being a dedicated site for it. Flying, infinite ammo and rate of fire, weapons hacks, swapping maps in the middle of the match, you name it. When I was don't fucking around I'd just hop on my main account and play normally again. The only time I'd turn anything on then is just to make those shit "dungeon" maps bearable and go by fast so I could get free shit.

The game's whole community centered around glitch styles so it wasn't a far stretch.
