I don't get why Holla Forums hates it so much. I thought the plot was actually the best out of all Final Fantasies. It's actually got some political intrigue to it instead of just "LOL we slay God nao!" yet again.

Did you mean XIII? It's a simple mistake.

The political stuff was mostly dressing. The plot of the game is 2 little punks worm their way into a rag tag group of heroes and trick them into dropping their noble quest to help the boy become a monster hunter.

It's the best fucking RPG plot ever.
