the door of history is closing, we have a very small chance of getting to world communism, or face extinction or a returning to barbarism.

You mean human nature?

yes, although it may take two or three hundred or thousand years.
so chill out

Yeah, true human nature when we beated ourself with rocks and lived in caves

breddy much

The working class will never "win", it's only the class most likely to abolish capitalism including itself as a class.

grundrisse.net/grundrisse22/tellingTheTruthAboutClass.htm

Probably not.

We're doomed

Capitalism won't last forever comrades

No. Communism wins by abolishing the "working class" as a class.

The victory of communism is inevitable so long as humanity doesn't destroy itself. The chances of that happening are worryingly high.

...

if the people you follow were alive to see you they'd kill themselves again, twice

No.

Holy shit guys it's happening

kek wills it

TRIPS CONFIRM

...

The thing that prevents me from fully committing to communism is the knowledge that I'll never get to see my ideal society realized within my lifetime.

Better to lower my expectations and become a socdem than to be perpetually disappointed, right? Even though by doing so I'd be betraying comrades of future generations, but they'll probably all be killed by resource wars anyway

I don't get it man if you really believe something like this then its better to fight for something you might not have a chance of achieving then to sit around being miserable under capitalism. If resource wars and/or geopolitical super-power contention gets us then we're just dead, no need to feel down let the spirit of Posadas guide your way brother

Not everything you should do is for your own betterment.
Sometimes you have to pick a side that is the most humane, and ethical towards all of it's citizens.
If not you, you're ancestors.
I know I will probably never live to see a true communist nation, but working so that my descendants / following generation can have a better life then I did is worth it.
Besides, maybe I can live in a socialist utopia in my old age, which would be good enough for me to try.

I only get one life and I happened to be born now. Why the fuck should I care what happens after I die? Just so I could feel good that I took the le ethical side?

There's no reason for me to waste my time trying to accomplish something that I'll never see the light of.

you literally don't know that. yeah it seems unlikely, but the US election alone has been dramatic enough to potentially start an ideological awakening. I'm not extremely hopeful, but I think the near future will influence your stance. especially with the rise of popularity of communism amongst millennials
