None, they are all my class enemies.

andrew jackson of course, he knew whats up and was one of the toughest presidents ever

Probably good old Honest Abe because he's the least shitty in character. There's a lot of presidents that I know literally nothing about so It's hard for me to say. Seriously, can someone tell me anything about Benjamin Harrison?

Franklin Pearce

Jimmy Carter.
youtube.com/watch?v=1IlRVy7oZ58

He feels like a somewhat less cozy Chomsky tbh

Obama because he was the first black president. It shows we're making progress.

really?

Eisenhower

all of them should hang

Bruh you should've just said "soon it'll be Hillary!"

best burger president was Carter

This.

the guy who died before he could do any harm.

The dude was basically an anarchist lmao

what is supposed to be so likable about this faggot?

He's not likable, user is joking that he was good because he got shot

>>>/reddit/

Getting based Tecumseh killed is pretty shitty any way you look at it.

Jackson was a bitch. Jean Lafitte won the Battle of New Orleans.

Harrison did not get shot. He died of pneumonia, because the dipshit gave a long acceptance speech in the rain.

Lincoln was the best U.S. president ever.

marxists.org/archive/marx/iwma/documents/1864/lincoln-letter.htm

Abraham Lincoln is the only one who is worth a damn.

Lincoln
even if not his original intention his prosecution over the civil war was dialectical as fuck and he beat the southern planter aristocracy

Lincoln initially never gave a fuck about the slaves. The whole emancipation was his means of increasing the size of the Union Army instead of sending them back South

He was a ruthless imperialist. The North started the Civil War because they threw a hissy over a single fucking fort. It was all in the name of muh union! If anything, international banks had more stakes in the North and supported them against the South because the South was against westward expansion into native lands, making them more isolationist, which is bad for globalist trading.

So what?

Southern charter schools did you no favors, son.

Please enlighten me. What did Lincoln have to gain by waging war against the south exactly?

Yes and? Seriously like I said even if not his intention at first his actions produced truly revolutionary results.
Fighting a separatist group of oligarchs in your own country doesn't make you aneed imperialist

They were not monolithic in support and the south was supported by actual reactionary aristocrats and monarchs so fuck them anyway
Holy fuck what?
One of the biggest flash points for the whole conflict was about the viscous battle the north and south were having about the West being slave states or not. The planters of the south needed new arable land and resources in order to continue to function there was already signs of the land they had starting to be overused.

Its called the United States for a reason. There is only 1 Federal government, there are 50 state governments. These states can secede if they want to, because realistically the federal government shouldn't have complete ownership of these states. Lincoln didn't care, he was a tyrant

Oh wow it's revisionist reactionary garbage! Abolitionism wasn't a huge cultural force! Free men in the North weren't treated well! Irish slaves!

At least the Germans have the good sense to disown the shameful parts of their history instead of forcing the rest of us to put up with it.

Definitely based lincoln.

(fuck the south)

I bet you also think only black slaves existed

Because Lincoln obviously supports your socialist values

Literally none

Fuck off cuck

Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and FDR

>Abraham "fuck habeas corpus" Lincoln

As if that compares in either magnitude or depravity to black slavery. And ya'll wonder why the working class in the South gets so much hate. It's because so many of you still haven't accepted that your dumb little outgrowth of feudalism was misguided and was ultimately defeated but for some fucking reason you still rattle off Klan propaganda to try and justify it.

...

George Washington and Lincoln I guess.

...

Haha this

the one who did the new deal (literal socialism) and straight up saved America with it

fdr?

1. Abe Lincoln (obvious, he freed the slaves. og marxist)
2. FDR (new deal)
3. Jimmy Carter (shat all over israel. wrote "peace not apartheid")

...

Don't fall for that disingenuous aww-shucks veneer he put on. Carter was a union buster whose deregulation policies gutted the working class. He appointed the arch neoliberal Paul Volcker as chair of the Fed and got the ball rolling on all the fiscal policies Reagan gets so much shit for. Not to mention his silent support for the genocide in East Timor.

...

Yea-
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Leftcom, I've been really curious - what exactly have you been trying to achieve with this thing you're doing?

Like, how was it supposed to go in your head? So you post an image with someone's definition of a term that you disagree with and then what? Are they supposed to look at it and go "wow there's that thing I believe wow I better stop believing it now that it's in an image not juxtaposed with anything or dissected or put in any ironic context whatsoever"?

Or are you autistic enough that you consider it inconceivable that someone says something you disagree with and think that any opinions which differ from yours are so self-evidently incorrect that merely posting them in mock sincerity is the height of absurdist humour (because it's not your opinion?)

Please respond, I'm not shitposting or anything - I would in fact really like to know what the actual deal is here.

In general, or my post there?

Neither. I was (and am always) just legitimately angry at how socialism is being defined as social capitalism by the 21st century left.

Maybe pestering people about this could have the auxilliary effect of having them properly research what socialism is, or ask me to help them with it. Because socialism is not just this blanket term anyone can associate a meaning with. Unless you want to give social democrats and red baiting conservatives and libertarians a freebie, of course.

ITT Newt Gingrich moment

Yes, see, but when you post those images, that point doesn't come across. You're just taking your opponent's position and repeating it verbatim. Why would that pester anyone? Someone who isn't up to date with your peculiar customs would just think you're agreeing with them.

It's like that Rojava thing you all made up. Taking the words of the opposite camp and putting them in a funny MSPaint picture isn't anything - you need to express to the audience what is wrong with that position using irony or juxtaposition or something.

Are you legitimately on the spectrum? I don't mean this insultingly, but it would go a long way towards explaining this. I mean it's like you don't have any theory of mind, nigga.

My point does across. Every time I post my maymays, the 'socialism = equal shareholding of private enterprise' opporunists all come out of the woodwork collectively and I apply proper pedagogy in telling why it isn't, and what socialism actually is. Result: less and less people are consider market 'socialists' actual socialists, but just incrementalists, and properly explaining the economic workings of the cooperative economic unit has already led a lot of people to stop considering it socialism altogether. The reason this works is because I don't oppose cooperative incrementalism at all (I welcome it and encourage it, in fact); I'm not just here to be an armchair critic, but to actually set the record straight on what is, and what isn't, socialism.

Which Rojava thing? The various links to documents and articles explaining why Rojava is simply yet another red national liberation escapade with Kurdish characteristics?

I'm not autistic, no. I'm not diagnosed with anything else either, and I'm very much in shape. If you're looking to score an epic jab here, you're most likely not going to find it, sorry.

I dunno, man, I've seen you post these images plenty of times without anyone saying shit in favour or against. The only people that do are probably the ones that already know you and the shit you get up to.

Mind you, I'm not against setting the record straight on what socialism is or isn't and I don't think you're doing a bad thing here, I just think that you're memes are shit.

And I'm talking about the MS paint drawing of the guy with the Rojava flag repeatedly saying that Rojava is nationalism from below.

And like I said, I'm not looking to make a slight against your person here, I just want to understand why you keep posting these things that would be absolutely meaningless to anyone not mired in 24/7 sectarian shitposting. Autism seemed like a good hypothesis.

A large-scale modernization of the trans-Atlantic economy, the elimination of a rival in the Western territories, greater control over the textiles industry, a weakening of French and British economic power in the Atlantic… It was all very appealing.

Lincoln.

Although he was somewhat moderate on the slavery question himself, his administration carried through the Second American Revolution to finally end slavery in the United States. This is significant for two important reason. Firstly, the Negro slaves were emancipated and the brutal exploitation of chattel slavery ended in the US. Ex-slaves for the most part joined the ranks of the proletariat or became yeoman farmers; although some became moderately affluent and well connected. Secondly, it opened up the American South to industrial capitalism and led to the growing strength of the United States on the world stage. Just two decades later, the United States routes Spain and takes the Philippines as a colony to join the fraternity of world imperialist powers.

Ha! trick question!

heh

Unironically this man. He was based as fuck it is no wonder he got assassinated. Probably the last good left president, before the destruction of classical liberalism. Did a great job of unifying parties.

Lincoln

so many fucking liberals here, what the fuck

It seems like we've been seeing an unusually large number of newfriends lately.

Favourite Lincoln because he freed the slaves.
Second favourite George Washington because bourgeois revolutionaries are the necessary step into socialism. Also fuck the Eternal Anglo.

The question was not if you like any US presidents but which one is your favorite. That's to say, which one you like the most/ hate the least. God damn. Post less and read more, you illiterate retards.

Nader has loads more balls and accomplished a hell of a lot more than S█████ ever has.

naivety at it's finest

Leftcom, I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that I want nothing to do with whatever you consider to be "real socialism"

Franklin Delano Roosevelt because of obvious reasons

Because he damn near single-handedly kept capitalism alive when it was about to collapse?

Abe Lincoln for handing porky plantation owners their asses.

Grover Cleveland.
Cause I like the name "Grover"
