I think a good way of starting a crash would be to spread propaganda about housing market crashes in places like Sydney in Australia and Vancouver in Canada. Those markets are highly overvalued, with many people already talking about imminent crashes. If we can stoke the feelings of fear in the market, we can entice people to sell, and cause buyers to think twice.

Basically the housing market is the only thing keeping Australia's economy going.
