as far as i know chucklefish are only publishing it and have nothing to do with the actual development of the game, which would explain why the game was mostly finished on launch and is still receiving support

They are developing Starbound.
That's two different things.
Although they're pretty shitty, SV is a decent Harvest Moon-esque game being developed by a different Dev. They just saw potential.

I pirated it after finding out it was chucklefucks.
That being said the games alright, not the same magic Harvest Moon for the ps1 HAD. Also the events suck balls unlike harvest moon have no real impact and feel a bit shallow.
The farming is alright, the combat is shitty and the mines go on for to long.

It must be empty as fuck too because despite being "almost finished" it doesn't have enough content to sustain a general.
Still waiting on an explanation why its suddenly okay to buy games from shitty devs when they publish a game especially when Chucklefuck stopped production of Starbound for a while so they could market and promote another game they were involved with.
