Are we appreciating Kropotkin enough...

Are we appreciating Kropotkin enough? He literally became an anarchist instead of becoming the greatest scientist of his field. He was that bright. And whenever I read his pieces I can't stop thinking how relative his ideas still are. In general I mean, not everything he said like a prophet. Can he be the starting point of a constructive discussion between anarchists and communists?

Kropotkin is pretty based. Definitely one of the better anarchists

PRINCE Kropotkin*

A lot of contemporary leftist thought can still find it's roots in Kropotkin's work, marxism the most affluent of them.

Yet people tend to forget the importance of his works.

Blame the cancer on modern day anarchists for being illiterate and not reading their own theory and expanding on it.

Even if a deficiency is at anarchism's core, socialists should not be permitted to be such an embarrassment.

No.

Can we blame pic related for people not understanding and expanding on Marx?

of course, anarcho-communism is the ultimate theoretical synthethis of socialism.

Not just expanding on Marx put anarchists expanding on their own theory

Anarchists have though, as awful as the post-left shit it is an expansion as is insurrectionary. Marxists have been stagnant outside of situationists and leftcoms for decades, and both of those are fairly fringe.

If you want to blame the stagnation on anything, porky's domestication of the radical left by confining it to universitys has done far more damage development of theory than anautists or maxcucks being impotent faggots.

bump

We don't like to talk about him because that would mean admitting that anarchists are better than Marxists.

Post-leftists aren't actually anarchists, at least not in any way that could be called historically accurate. People like bookchin have been expanding anarchist theory, may he RIP.

which work of his should I read first?

I think his biggest work is "Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution." A legit scientific and very unique work. I would also recommend The Conquest of Bread. This is, let's say his "Communist Manifesto" more like how he imagines the anarchist society and his practical solutions to the problems. Also check out his short presentations like: "Anarchism: Its philosophy and Ideal" and "Anarchist Morality." They are both very illuminating, engrossing works. And they are short. I would say read as much as you can from him but if you wanna read only one, make it Mutual Aid.

You can read all his works for free from here: dwardmac.pitzer.edu/anarchist_archives/kropotkin/KropotkinCW.html

anarchist library has better interface.

fresh out of gimp.

There has never been non-lifestyle anarchism, people need to stop seeing anarchism as something to go into after the rest of the left failed and just keep the same attitudes and strategies.

shut the fuck up you illiterate piece of shit, go read some book. at least read summary of their bio. wtf.

eat my ass bookchinite

kill yourself m9.

Then what is a lifestylist? Can you actually define it or is it just anything that you don't like?

it is already defined by bookchin and it seems like you already read it and didn't like it. I won't add anything to that but if you think he said: "individual liberty is bad for the movement bruh" we didn't read the same book.

Lifestylist, ie. vegans, anarcho-primmies, r/anarchism, r/socialism.
Basically if we are referring to life stylists in the context of those who consider themselves to be on the far left, it's people who associate themselves on the far left, yet prefer to focus on virtue signalling behaviour.
