I'm a technocrat/transhumanist. I dunno how well the idea of a society run by scientists and engineers or better yet an omnipotent AI sits with Holla Forums but normal Holla Forums doesn't seem to like it. I'm aware it will probably never happen in my lifetime but I personally am strongly attracted to it, particularly the idea of humanity getting past its fear of genetic and mechanical augmentation.

Oh I forgot to add, I used to be full facist, but I realized its traditionalist nature got in the way of genetic engineering.

I would like for eventually AI to take care of the role of fulfilling the wishes of humanity, with democratic decisions on longterm and shortterm goals deciding what it prioritizes but the actual system and logic being left up to them so as to avoid a lot of problems we have today, but I think we'll have to accept a possibly unsustainable communist revolution before automation is at that point. Things are too fucked up for us to wait much longer.

Only a human society can offer the full spectrum of positive experience to humans. Only democratic autonomy can prevent corruption and power misuse in the long term as it gives the man who holds the rights the direct means to protect them.

I was never strongly right-wing even after years of browsing Holla Forums, but I still use the Holla Forums lingo and like certain racist jokes if they're smart. I actually say shekels more than money now, even in casual conversations

I pretty much didn't care about politics at all. The only thing politics related I had contact with were a few leftist values. A few years ago I visited 4chan and thought it was cool because it's "so edgy xD". Later on I discovered Holla Forums, I was extremely confused after seeing one or two threads about immigration. This in-out group/"we're always right" mentality at first gave me the impression that I was definitely wrong about certain ideas I've had and it made me feel uncomfortable to such a degree that I didn't want to have any contact with the site anymore. Then, after about three days of not being able to shake of this feeling I decided to do some research and it turned out, much to my delight, that literally every Holla Forumstard is a fucking idiot. However, my journey didn't end there, I grew accustomed to the feeling of superiority that goes along with being able to "btfo" people. Soon Holla Forumstards weren't enough anymore, they were easy targets, I wanted that feeling in the context of people that I met in everyday life. At that point I got into Holla Forums and started reading actual theory. The more theory I read and the more I hear/read about individuals that face the harsh realities of capitalism the more genuine my interest becomes. I feel like I'm turning away from the "btfo"-route and instead I'm shifting towards what you could call a more "genuine" approach. I'm starting to care about myself and the people around me.

My political views have pretty much only changed in regards to capitalism. I had a few unreflected post keynesian views on the economy but nowadays I reject the system in its entirety.

I used to be minarchist lolbert that used to think I was in the middle and that I was more superior than everybody else. When I was younger, I was actually a member of the Mississippi Tea Party - imagine just how godawful and backwards it was, then multiply that by 2000. God, country, guns and white pride was the name of the game. I religiously listened to Rush Limbaugh and read all of his and his brother's books, as well as Sean Hannity, Ben Stein, Bill O'Rielly, Glenn Beck and Michael Savage.

The one thing, oddly enough, that kept me from fully embracing it, though, was my sexuality. Being a bisexual with tons of fetishes isn't exactly par for the course, and hearing all the hate for people like myself made me feel like something was just…wrong…about the whole thing. I wasn't welcome, I would never be welcome, so why would I contribute to a system that would purge my kind from existence if it got the chance?

So I became a liberal democrat, thinking them the obvious answer. Around this time, my connection to Christianity - a religion I adopted because I was born into it, much like conservatism - died off. So now I had even less right wing mentality, and I filled the void with stuff like TYT, Secular Talk, Sam Seder and the like.

But again, something was…wrong. Liberals were just as power hungry and controlling as the Conservatives. The minority groups they said they supported received nothing but calls to vote for them. We were just being exploited for being different, and the only profit went to those in power, who acted no differently than their right wing counterparts.

So I tried Alt-Right, I tried Centrism, I tried Libertarianism, I tried Egalitarianism, I tried Anarchism, I tried everything.

And everything kept coming back to one thing: Rich people waving carrots to get the disenfranchised to work for them.

I didn't even want to consider communism. It was just like modern day Nazis in my book, a clear and present evil. Brainwashing, starvation, cruelty, torture, mass executions…the idea was horrific.

And then, funnily enough, one day out of morbid curiosity I decided to see what Linux was about. And for the first time, because of my love of software, I took a crash course communism because I found out that Richard Stallman was essentially communist, and I was impressed at the quality of a completely community created series of systems. The idea that a non-commercial, non-corporate product could be that good and have that much put into it shocked me.

So I gave communism a real good look, decided to brave the waters of Holla Forums, got weirded out by a fresh brand of memes I had no understanding of the meaning of, and now I am full commie.

It's a political group for once not driven by money, power and moral ideology, and the more I look into it the more it just makes sense.

He told me all about how imam Ali's government had no poor and how he seized conquered farmland and gave it back to farmers and what other imams had to say about.
