The main issue is who controls speech. In bourgeoisie society a few profit based media corporations like Time Warner, Sony, etc can exert enormous control over the media. In social media corporations like faceebook exert an inordinate amount of control of everyone's discussions. Yet the bourgeoisie liberal ideologies will say we have "free speech" despite the fact that so much of our media is run by capitalist organizations.
