The biggest problem with the whole "rights" movement in the military is that you do not have a right to join. It's all based on the needs of the Army(or your preferred branch).

What people need to get through their heads is that being a soldier is not a right. You do not have the right to be one, and sometimes you may not have the right not to be a soldier. Rights go out the window as soon as you sign up for the job.

If people knew this, or understood it on some level, they might be less inclined to lionize the military and hero worship all while leaving those that did the shit job to die of poverty or mental illness.

The biggest issue with having women in combat is that men tend to take crazy and foolish risks to either protect them, or show off for them. This isn't their fault, of course, but it did (anecdotally) cause problems for the IDF. The immediate solution to this, is to have gender-segregated brigades, which is exactly what the YPJ is.

Any draft is bad. It doesn't become less bad just because everyone becomes a soldier-slave mamluk.

This is demonstrably false. An infantryman has to carry about 120lbs of shit with him at all times and be ready to carry another man with all that shit on as well. Women are simply incapable of this without serious risk of injury. Women also have smaller lungs and hearts, bleed out faster, and have more porous muscles.

The fact is that under combat conditions everyone breaks down, and women do so at an accelerated rate. Women have the same opportunity to advance in the military, but there is a reason they get different PT standards, because the vast majority of them would fail.

There is no reason to have women in the infantry other than political correctness. Not being allowed in the infantry does not limit your career prospects or in any way disadvantages you in the military. Stop trying to put women where they do not belong.
