Do games you're working on count?

Ape Escape: On The Loose for the PSP.
Holy shit is this game FUN? When is Sony going to release a new Ape Escape game?, come on.

EUIV with my brother online. I started as the Papal State and he started as England. He's formed Britain and has colonized some parts of all the world. I've formed the Kingdom of God (which was disappointingly basically nothing) and am now colonizing islands down through Greece's way that the Ottoman for some reason didn't conquer. Ottoman have been very passive this game, only really conquered the Mamluks, then got beat by Austria and Poland. France was bighueg blob eating into HRE and Castille and Aragon, then we formed a big union and stomped their face in, except now they're somehow annexing Lithuania, which will make them the biggest power in the world, but hopefully it will piss off all the powers around there, Denmark, Poland, Austria and Muscovy, so we can dump of France on two sides of the world. Still haven't taken the boot of Italy from Naples, because the fucker is allied with Austria.

Also playing Dark Souls. Just got up to the place where there's some fire-ladies you jam ember things into to get their soul? This section is kind of a boring slog, which is no different from the part before it. All round kind of bored with the game. While the first Dark Souls kept introducing new things for me to gawk at, the only thing Dark Souls 2 has impressed me with is some of its locations.

Star Wars Empire at War.

Which keeps crashing thus ruining my enjoyment.

Discovered this recently, completely in love with it's aesthetics and gameplay

Being playing Ys VI the ark of napishtim. had a little halt against a frog boss where i couldn't go back and grind but in a war of exhaustation i was capable of defeating him.
The game is not as good as seven or Felghana as seen that the bosses have a lot of bullshit attacks who aren't different from their normal hittable stance. still a preety good game. now i'm at another halt cause i think the endgame is nearing and i'm going around searching for pikkards and side bosses and shit.

tell me more, please

Planetside 2 really needs a better diversity between faction equipment, and a complete replacement of the air game.

Witcher 3 DLC.
Project Reality.
Dota 2

tf2 competitive is fun. I really enjoy playing with people that know what they're doing

Finished conquering my kingdom in dragon commander, married my skeleton wife, life's good

I've been hating dota for 2k hours now

Looks pretty cool, what genre is it?

Endless Legend is tied for my favorite 4X of all time right now. Not terribly balanced, but it's meant to be a single player empire management game. Kind of wish there was a way to fast forward to end game when it becomes obvious that someone has won.

Grand Kingdom has the most questionable design decision ever of FORCING the player to grind one or two hundred quests before you get access to the most top tier random assortment of characters you can hire from, so grinding through that is no fun. Also no fun is being thrown into a war only to get your ass handed to you instantly by overpowered units other people have grinded to max potential already.

Puzzle and dragons Z on 3DS is kind of a lame puzzle game, and a very lame dungeon crawler. I don't know why I still play it at work. It's not relaxing and not entertaining, except for those times when tons of combos happen which usually are outside of your control; I don't possess the autism required to plan the entire grid.

Like everyone says, Phantom Pain is fine. It starts out great but gets worse as you play it, until all you're doing is waiting for timers to count down and wondering why.

Xenoverse is dumb power fantasy fun. I worry that the second will remove a lot of that, but it'll be worth it if they remove super armor altogether, and prevent stamina and stamina regen from being the be-all end-all of the game.

Magical Pop'n.
It was cute.

Strive for Power today. A slavmade kinky browser text game.
DoomRL and Master of Magic yesterday.

How lewd is it?

Yume 2kki.

Always enjoyable at night.

DeadCore, an indie game I bought thinking it would be in the Portal vein, ie. an FPS puzzle game with some level of platforming. Got that feel off the general style and the gun that isn't actually a gun.

Ended up being a frustrating as all heck 3D platformer with no leeway and shit ass checkpoints. Also made the great decision of being FPS, but never really showing you the bounds of your player collision so you can get grilled by lasers off screen just because fuck you. And enemies you can only "disable" for maybe 10 seconds before they start attacking you back. Not in a lethal way until the end, but just pushing you into lasers for fun.

The few bits where the game flows it's pretty good but all that goodness is, IMO, shadowed by the sheer annoyance and frustration of the unfair bits.

Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K.² It's a 3rd person action-adventure game. Plenty of different weapons that can be used in either hand, and great combat.

It's a sequel to an adult video named Heavy Metal 2000 which I haven't watched yet. It has one of the most in-depth tutorials ever that's actually really fun to play. The same company made SiN which another great game to play too.

The voice is pretty lewd considering the woman was a penthouse model.

Where the heck did you find it?

I came in to post about Ys 6 too. I think it is the worst of the series that I've played. It's like they wanted to suck the fun out of the game at some points. The music is top tier as usual though.

Good ol' Dwarf Fortress and DooM for me. Maybe a bit of Terraria tomorrow, if I feel like it.

Serious Sam 3 was kinda lame level design wise.

Styx on the other Hand is one of these small AA games that have ridiculous amounts of thought put into them. Very good so far.

isozone, I get all my PC stuff there now, have found some unknown to me gems lately there

Just tried out Thea: the Awakening, and holy shit I am HOOKED. It's tough to describe, a little like a mix of King's Bounty and Atelier Iris and maybe some FTL, but all Slav flavored.

I am disappointed that the actual card mechanic is pretty thin. You can pretty much autoresolve your way through the game without missing much. The rest is still fun though.

Don't bother watching that, go watch the original Heavy Metal (or watch it again if you've already seen it).

well. i'm gonna give it a fair try. thank you, user.

Will do, thanks!

Enjoy!

Pretty good tight controls. too bad there are a lot of autoscrolling stages early on that make restarting the game a chore.
Final level is incredibly fun and the one before that is rage inducing to the maximum.

recommend to who search a game where your weapons are limited and have some unintuitiva but really fun moves

...

The final stage has one of the best tracks on the genesis.

I didn't like the models at all. The faces I mean, they were copied right from real people and it was kind of uncanny to me. It felt okay though.
It's on GoG I think? I had it before.

That game is my childhood, Ristar, Ecco the Dolphin, Comix Zone, Dynamite Headdy as well. I played Shinobi so many times I've memorized every secret and even when I replayed it via emulation I still recalled where everything was. The only other game I did this was with Spiderman and Venom: Maximum Carnage but I got this rare crash multiple times and holy fuck I remember being ticked about that as a kid

the last thing I played some some JP ero game I didn't like so I tossed it. I need to finish Ariadne anyways

Pic related. Kicking ass in my pink Zaku.
God damn the combat is simple but it's fun as shit.

Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus. It gets repetitive after a while because you're fighting in the same stages against the same enemies over and over again, but the combat is fast and fun.

Yakuza Dead Souls, I guess it's an okay spinoff but it just doesn't hold a candle compared to the other games in the series, I'm on Part 3 and I wonder if the game only starts to get fun when you unlock Premium Adventure or something. I wish it was still a beat em up where you can punch the zombies to death instead of using boring old guns, or replace the zombies with demons/ghosts.

Bully bully bully

Replaying resi 2 for the billionth time now

user I don't think you know what weebshit means.

kill urself

VF5FS

I'm playing Neverwinter Nights and i am having a blast.

...

2 games I just can't stop replaying.

You don't even know what weeaboo means do you

You are a weeaboo

Playing R6: Siege with friends. Ubishit recently buffed Pulse somewhat, so now he's even better. My friend fucking hated Pulse with a passion before, and now he's even more rage-inducing to him.
Played with a full 5-man team two days ago and it was a blast.

Mediocre shooter pulled down by terrible writing.
I usually manage ignore bad writing in vidya but, holy fucking shit, the "quantum mechanic" bullshit didn't make any sense, and the ending was beyond retarded.

Just finished KOTOR.
>mfw I forced Zaalbar to kill his friend the blue slut
I love games that let me be a sadistic edgy cunt.

I'm going through all the games in this series. The levels are a bit big for my liking, but I like the mission structure of "seeing a person -> talking to them -> starting the mission" and being able to freeskate and make your own strategies for combos whenever you're not strictly in a mission. I'm still getting used to the special meter because I'm used to THPS3 gameplay, but I'm having a good time.

Hopefully THUG 1 and THUG 2 will be as good as this game and THPS3 were.

I hated that game, I actually played through all of it in one run, and the lingering question was always "where the fuck are my plasmids?" because I never used them because they were A. mostly pointless and B. I had no way of replenishing them reliably unless my stupid cunt ai partner threw some to me. I hated that more than the writing, the two gun only limit, the dumb upgrade system and virtually every other flaw combined.

I'm trying BG2 for the nth time.
I feel guilty.

Played Contagion with a dude I met on here, had fun even though we didn't make it through any of the Escape maps we tried.

Guys!
I just finished he game I was playing, give me some recommendations, it has to be an old game, early 2000s or older

Rise of the triad?

Vermintide and Front Mission Evolved, they are ok but i wish i had friends for Vermintide

Alright, I'll contribute.
Been playing Sleeping Dogs for the part couple of days until Monster Hunter Generations came out. Which I'm waiting for my gf to come home with it since it was delivered to her workspace
It's honestly one of the better open-world games I've played, and I constantly come back to it just to relax, drive around, and kung-fu kick random chinks on the street. I just wish they actually went somewhere with the love interest quests. Other than that, it's a personal 10/10. The DLC is pretty meh though.

Mad Max on PC

I was expecting Bamham/Ass Creed tier stupid runabout shit doing garbage tasks for garbage people. I was not expecting car porn with absolutely sublime little details - your exhaust when you start the car, for example, is black and oily and shoots in whatever direction your exhaust pipes are for that upgrade level, then evens out and cleans up -, a fantastically Mad Max tier story your car is taken from you, you meet an insane little hunchback who believes his sacred work is to build a holy car, you use him for his abilities, and at least right now in the story it's basically "get to the big city, hurt some people and get a V8 for my car because anything less is for complete pussies. The ground based combat is pretty underwhelming - it's all Bamham style punch, punch, counter, punch, punch, counter but when you get enough hits in a row you go into Fury mode and start doing insane WWE shit where you're suplexing people or throwing huge Bret Hart drop kicks. The car combat is neat but it's already reaching the point where it's a pattern - ruin the enemy's armour by smashing into them or shooting their armour off their car with the shotgun, then either ram them until their tires fall off, rip their tires off, or shoot their gas tank. That said attacking a convoy feels so fucking Mad Max it's scary; cars weaving in and around each other, dudes trying to jump on your car and either landing and punching you through the window, being impaled on your car spikes or missing and hitting the road.

I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I am but it's so fucking good it might be my favourite game that I've played in the last year or so. I love Mad Max and this is so true to the source material that it's uncanny, and all the car upgrading porn is just icing on this cake. This game is fucking fantastic

this

The Hong Kong Kung Fu movie DLC is pretty awesome. I enjoy that game more than GTAV.

System Shock 2?

you should, sleeping dogs fell through in a lot of spots, but its general missions and combat were enjoyable and the characters likable, unlike GTA5 which was just a way too large world filled with fucking nothing, forgettable missions and all around unsatisfying combat topped off with rockstars idea of 'social commentary' being every character and joke being completely obnoxious

I really like SaGa Frontier. I've played it a lot when I was a kid, but I try to not let nostalgia goggles sway my opinion too much. Despite my love for the game though, I do recognize some of the problems that the game has.

Starting off, SaGa Frontier has 7 different main characters that you can play as. Some of them better than others, and some of them are kinda fucking shit Lute but they're mostly good. The stories aren't anything groundbreaking, but they are passable, if not scarce.

I really like the gameplay. Stringing attacks together from your party members to create some devastating combos is great. I like that characters learn new attacks during combat (or after depending on if you use guns or magic), but I find it strange that melee characters automatically equip learned skills whereas gun and magic users have to manually equip new skills after combat. I wish that they all worked the same way or that the game explained that the systems work the way they do. It's not a huge problem though, so whatever. I like that you regain health after any combat encounter, but as a trade-off, you won't regain HP, JP(Magic), WP(melee skill points), LP(Life Points, which dictates if your character dies if it reaches 0). You can replenish these with items or visiting hotels/inns throughout the game, and there's quite a few places so it's not too bad. After combat, you also have the chance to level up certain skills, unlike typical RPGs where you simply level up and choose which skills you want to level up or have them level up automatically. Being able to avoid enemies outside of combat so you don't get random battles is cool too. I always hated random encounters in JRPGs, and I feel that being able to avoid enemies outside of combat adds another layer of complexity to navigating your surroundings. One thing that I found strange was the interactive environments. This game uses pre-rendered backgrounds, which almost all look great, but there are some parts where you can interact with those backgrounds to unlock doors, or chests to get items. My problem with this is that there's sprites for certain interactive items, such as FUCKING CHESTS, which stand out like a sore thumb. Emelia's route does a good job of presenting the interactive backgrounds, and I usually recommend her playthrough first. I feel that the game could have had better stories or writing if they had decided to cut some characters, or at least their stories. But it's funny I say that because quite a bit of content was already cut from the game due to time constraints. Originally, there was supposed to be 2 other characters, one of which is actually still in the game as a side character.

I sorta dislike how the game handles progression. For most of the characters' scenarios, it's very vague where you need to go to progress the stories. I think personally think that this is a ploy by the developers to pad gameplay and make the game seem longer. If you do all of the optional quests and whatnot, each scenario can last like 15+ hours, but if you know where to go, each scenario is significantly shorter. The problem I find with this is that most of the optional content for each character is the same as every other character, such as the Magic quests or the Bio Research Lab in Shrike. Anyways, I don't have too much to say about the stories, they aren't bad like I said, but they can be scarce.

The music is really good. I think that Kenji Ito did a pretty good job with it. It's not a grandiose soundtrack, like something that Hans Zimmer would make, but much of the soundtrack is very easy to listen to, and I think that the battle music is one of the least annoying battle themes I've heard in an RPG. This isn't to say that I hate or even dislike the battle music, but listening to it for hours through 7 scenarios can get very old. Personally, I really like Fight! Alkaiser, Opening of a Journey, Battle 2, and T260G's Final Battle Theme. I even think that the Opening Theme is really good, but it's not very indicative of the rest of the OST. Also, something I noticed. I thought that Opening of a Journey sounded very similar to the Great Fairy Fountain Theme from Legend of Zelda. I tried to ask Kenji Ito about this, to see if he ever took any inspiration from LoZ, but he never responded.

My final thought are that the game is pretty good that's marred by vague navigation, repeating side-quests, and somewhat weak storylines. It's not a perfect game, but it's one that I revisit every now and then. Sorry for the autism, but….well, I got autistic.

I hate when games punish you for enjoying the battle system, Last Remnant did this too.

Funny you mention that, Akitoshi Kawazu, the director for the SaGa series of games, also worked on The Last Remnant.

Just finished ZTD. It's easily the weakest in the series but still a solid VN otherwise.

Zero Time Dilemma, Nuclear Throne, Downwell, Morrowind and Bayonetta 1

It's nice.

I just played Stalker: SoC with Oblivion Lost.

I liked it a lot more than vanilla. The extra options, additional spawns, more varied story missions, and artifact crafting pieces were great. Hell, even walking through the Garbage I had to watch out for getting ambushed by bandits who kept getting better and better. Weapons and armor repairing is a much-needed addition, and it never felt too hard or too easy. Well, I felt cheesed when spawns dropped on top of me a time or two, but other than that it was solid.

The biggest issue I have with the mod is the fact that it defaults to free play without showing you the good ending.

After this, I think I'm going to head over to the Stalker General and see what mods are out for Clear Sky. Seeing as it's the bastard stepchild, I never really gave it a fair shake.

Gods eater burst is what I played recently. Its like a monster hunter clone but missing a lot of what makes monster hunter good. I'm enjoying it for the most part though, plot is interesting enough.

The Culling occasionally with a friend and some Tabletop Simulator. I would like to play more Subnautica but I'm waiting for more content and also when I grow some balls and dare to face the Reaper Leviathans even with the Cyclops

It's like VLR but instead of solving puzzles they fuck.

This and Shattered Skies are the tightest shit. Not a fan of the missions with strong emphasis on supporting ground troops, but otherwise it's a blast. Don't know if I'll go back and play Air Combat through ElectroSphere next or move onward to the last PS2 one.

Laughably buggy and broken even with the community fixes, but seems like a good RPG so far. Definitely has a charming camp to it.

Furi was tedious and boring, only play halfway through
Dragon's Dogma has shitty combat, only played a little bit, I'm hoping it gets better
Carnage Heart EXA has too many tutorials

Enter the Gungeon is alright. A weird Western take on the bullet hell genre. Not sure if it was worth 15 dollardoos, but it's worth picking up on sale.
Planetside 2 is the same as always. Kind of shit. Kind of not shit. Depends on who you play it with.
Eternal Crusade is in a bad place right now. I would not be surprised if it were to die within the year.
Barotrauma is always great.

>it was bad but somehow not quite as bad as first two

About to install mugen Souls and been Micspamming embed related on CS:S.

Also, this is how i pick a new game when i don't know what to play.
>igg-games.com/list-game.html

Do people still play CS:S?

I just wanted CS 1.6 with better graffix, and there's no way i'm playing ((CS:GO))

Alright user I'm in need of your help here because the rest of the internet is useless. What on earth am I supposed to do to progress through the game after the Q "Revelation" arc? I've executed all the teams, reached every conceivable stop in other arcs, and have nothing to show for passwords and shit besides the helmet one which serves no purpose as of now. What the hell am I missing here? The frustrating part is that it's easy enough to believe this developer fucked up somehow if it weren't for the Google results I can't skim without spoiling shit (like seriously, how hard is it to make the memo function not shit? -and there better be a damn good payoff for the 3D I'm not seeing with these bad visuals).

As a Saga Frontier fan myself I thought that was a fun read. The game screws some things up (the plots especially, as you said), but it has a LOT of content to explore, in character customization, areas, and so on.

It really is too bad that it came out in the era it did, and they had to censor the hell out of the romance in Asellus's path for localization.

What the fuck happened to their aesthetics? What dumb cunt was in charge of this decision.

I think something about they decided to go more "realistic" for some reason after the first two. Didn't really help though. Spyro looks like misshapened polished clay. Cynder's face looks a little less weird though.

Are you sure you executed all the teams? Just watching the other choice isn't good enough; you have to go back and choose each team to die. That's how I got stuck. Have you gotten to the part where Akane, Junpei, and Carlos began SHIFTing?

Marvel Heroes and Pokemon Pearl. Both are fun but a little frustrating in their own ways.

Half-Life: Opposing Force is pretty good, everything that needs to be said about it has been said over a decade ago. I wish Valve and Gearbox kept making games at that quality.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying but they're all lit on my flowchart so I think I'm good there. No I have not seen anything like that with Team C though.

Played some Mount and Blade Warband with A New Dawn. I've become a Sheikh in the Sarranid Sultanate, who are a major power in Calradia. The Vaegirs have pretty much dissapeared, and all of the Swadian towns are controlled by the Balion Republic. Currently we're in a scuffle with the Khergits and their brethren the Black Khergits, they've taken Ahmerrad and we've taken Ichamur and Halmar. I tried to court a woman and her brother prevented me from doing so, now I'm trying to court another one, but this one hates me. I need to get more party size, so I can capture a fortress by myself.

Alright then. Elaborate on what you mean by Q "Revelation" arc

I agree that it is a shame that it came out the time it did. And thanks for the info on Asellus's route, I wasn't completely aware that it was censored as much as it was, although in retrospect, it's not too surprising.

Beat it on Commander. Damn fun. Megatron was pretty tough. Gotta stay right in his face or he'll get that attack that opens rifts in the ground that shoot fire.

Wasn't censored. The only thing that actually got cut from Asellus's scenarios was a rewrite of how she leaves/returns to Fascinaturu, and her connection to the Shrike Bio Research Laboratory. The innuendo with White Rose and the lusting among herself and the other princesses, and even Gina, is explained away entirely as Orlouge's blood in her veins.

The gay pairing thing you're looking for in that route, iirc, was Ciato and Rastaban. Which is official, in fact. (though I could be confusing one of them for Illdon instead)

Lute's story was shit, but as a character, he was a great frontline swordsman. I mean, he's not Gen, Red, or Asellus, but still.

I really wish Fuse's story wasn't cut, because I'd have loved to go through a sort of buddy cop story with all of the IRPO agents.

IIRC, it was Illdon and Rastaban that were homosex for each other. It's been ages since I played, though.

Did Asellus's parents work at the Bio Lab or something? I mostly just prayed to God that I didn't get reamed by the sages / assassins that were sent to kill her.

The arc under that title where Q is revealed to be a robot by Zero. I mean I could tell you where all my timelines leave off but that's a lot of information.

I mean, as a fighter, Lute was pretty alright, but goddamn his story. And yeah, a Fuse storyline about busting some skulls with other IRPO would've been really cool.

Only thing I can really say is make sure you go through all the options. For instance, when Eric goes crazy when he finds Mira's body you can not say anything and that will lead to more cutscenes

My memory's fuzzy, but it had no connections to her parents. Her father worked at the lab that beefed up T260G (he talks about her in Red's scenario iirc). The Biolab plot was actually supposed to be a parallel that polarize her feelings on being a creature subjected to others' wills, made into something she wasn't, and longing to belong somewhere. I believe Rei had a big piece in that plot too. It hit the cutting room floor, sadly.

That was my last lead that came up with nothing. Everything else looks locked or impossible for another outcome. -unless do you think I'm able to influence the gun to Sigma's head or the three-way stand-off for a fourth outcome? Whatever the case thanks for humoring me.

Nemu best girl.

W H E R E I S K Y L E

Sigma can die from the gun. It took me like 5 tries for it to happen but it's definitely possible. Don't recall if this unlocked anything for me though. As for the stand off, don't worry about it. Once you progress further the answer will become obvious.

Don't you mean Sigma can LIVE from the gun?

meh
boring as fuck
kidie game

Morrowind.

I just realized that I am 35 hours into the game, I have yet to do any of the main quest and only started a few of the mage guild quests.

Other than that I have just been exploring and looting me some sweet shit.

I got myself a Glass Armor set, and a Daedric weapon and i'm like level 5 or 6. I might not use them because they are way too OP right now

I also managed to kill one of the Ash Vampires, didn't know what the fuck he was when I was killing him, but I looked it up after. I took a journey all day today through the Red Mountain region, it was intense.

I made it out of there by the skin off my teeth in a process that took over two hours. I have a new hatred in my life, its called Cliff Racers I had every disease known to man, my stats were annihilated and my armor and weapon were degraded so all I could do was run.

I hope i didnt fuck myself over installing the overhaul, i just wanted improved textures and few bug fixes without gameplay changes

Also why did Bethesda stop making good games ?

Played Revengeance, got to Armstrong but haven't beaten him yet. Playing on hard.

I like it. It's fun, a lot different than what I first expected, have got about half the VR challenges unlocked,

Story is idk, been really fucked up when playing, kinda missed the first half of the story, second half is an extension of the ideas in MGS2 as well as "character development" for Raiden.

Love slicing shit up.

You know what would be great? A special Morrowind mod for OpenMW that generates cities and and terrain on the fly and creates radiant quests, so you can have unlimited adventures across the landscape of Tamriel.

Hopefully in the next 10 years Tamriel Rebuilt will inflate the gameplay up to 200+ hours.

[spoiler]It happened for me the first time but I got confused because of that other arc where Q Team injects themselves and always end up with the same health. -then I happened to see online that the dice thing would let them live in three tries or less no matter what. Along the way I tried shooting the gun two more times but I killed Sigma every time. I guess I was just really unlucky with that instance of actual probability.[spoiler]

Alright, time to see this shit through already, thanks again.

She lost a lot of her appeal after the plot twist

Nice spoilers, nerd

She's realistic, she's pragmatic, she's got the best hair, and she's cute. Just give her a few slaps and she'll stop making stupid comments all the time, in no time you could whip her into a proper waifu.

Got into Caves of Qud.
Was pumped for a rouge-like with strong writing and a great world to explore.

You pretty much just make a toon and try to be as optimal as possible, even with lots of variation in builds, that's where all the depth is.

It just makes me wish I played Fallout 1 again.

I like it almost as much as the original. My biggest problem is that it doesn't have interconnecting levels like DaS or BB. Other than that it seems to be slightly inferior but almost as good in the original in most ways. Much better than DS2 imo.
I am enjoying it as I have been since release. D.Va is way under rated because everybody seems to be too retarded to play her correctly; Bastion should have his turning speed limited in turret mode. On the PTR Ana doesn't feel very good, Zenyatta seems a lot better and needs a blue streak skin, D.Va buff will take some getting used to but will mange her even better than she already is and aren't going to help scrbbydubbies who just want to play le dorito girl do any better.
Star map is finally back. I like it now more than I did before. I like the specter fights being added to access a new planet, and the objectives forcing new players to visit more of the map rather than just going in a straight line to the alert they want, it should also help with making sure new players don't go into a high level ara before they're ready. Relics seem interesting, but over all just another way to farm prime parts. The store redesign is nice except that I keep hitting escape because I want to go up a level in the page hierarchy but instead I exit the console entirely. New archwing controls are clunky & unresponsive, don't add anything, and won't improve archwing missions at all. Archwing missions now feel like they have double the sensitivity as the rest of the missions, and the uncontrollable and seemingly pointless spinning in place can be disorienting. When they released dogs, everyone joked and said that cats were next; then they actually added cats. I don't have a khvat yet, so I don't have any thing else to add about them.
I'm enjoying it. I prefer the moment controls in Diablo 3, and I don't like mundane ranged weapons having an absolute range where the projectile just disappears (damage falloff would be better). Other than that it seems bretty gud. I don't play many H&S games, so my ability to comment here is limited.

and now comes the part where people tell me to stop liking things they don't like

All they had to do was add some more mechanics and it . What a fucking lazy port.

I was given a free copy of ESO because I pissed off a coworker.

It's resoundingly mediocre.
Which means it's a hilariously better game than Skyrim.

...

I just found a part while playing that will make everyone either laugh or pissed: There is a copy of "The Lusty Argonian Maid" in the Second Era.

Potion Maker

That's it.

...

I'm sorry, I just have a thing for Hime cuts.

Certainly. You have any progress to share?

I feel like a retard for not knowing there was a chat program in Warframe. I thought it was just a bunch of bots with how innocent the names were.

Also why didn't Dead Rising 1 or Bad Company 1 ever come to PC? Those are great games, I think it would be great if more people got to play them.

Thief
Trying to fight off kleptomania.
I just want to steal some shit and get away with it so fucking badly.
If I were to do it I'd break into a local store at the strip mall at night, no security, no nighttime cleaning, and no visibility for passing cars, and I'd steal just one item, probably some shitty fucking video game. Probably do it in the winter so I could wear face obscuring clothing without questions being raised.

Not a nigger though so I won't actually do it though.
Would be funny to do all that and have them probably not even realize what I took, if they knew I was there at all.
My life is boring as fuck.

Wh… why would a game have an window for 300 bots to spew cancerous memes at each other while you try to navigate your ship?

The new Doom is actually really fun. Don't pay full price for it and do play it on at least UV difficulty.

I forgot shooters could be fun until i picked this thing up. Last shooter I enjoyed as much was probably Resistance 2.

I beat Snatcher a few days ago, game was pretty tits. I mean it's gameplay was a joke but it's story, setting, atmosphere, music, and beautiful sprite art were all on point. I'd highly suggest it to any Kojima fan as it's story really fits with his other works.

Have to give a shout out to bros for life Metal Gear, Random, and Harry.

Forgot pics of maximum bros.

I didn't realize that it would automatically connect me to a chat with a bunch of players when I'm like level 2 or 3, I thought it would just have a bunch of generic chat messages, especially with how fast it loaded the ship after beating the tutorial mission.

Guess I got brain problems.

going to>>10074246
Half the purpose of region chat is to beg for advice and then get called an idiot and told to go to the wiki and then have people say they aren't going to spoon feed you so blocking it off to new players would be pretty silly. Also, all NPCs have full dialogue and will always either be physically in the room with you or appear in a box on the side of the screen.

Thanks Swype.

Ace Combat Infinity. It's free to play garbage upon first glance, and you'd be right to think so. However, if you're a pathetic NEET or you simply have an abundance of time and you enjoy arcade style 3D air combat games, then this game is for you. You get three fuel tanks to start with, and each one respawns after three hours or so. This means you can get something like a solid 20 to 30 minutes of play time before you put the thing down for a while. In addition to this, you can sometimes get random drops that reward you with free fuel tanks, and you can do challenges to acquire more.

It's the sort of game that forces you to play in bursts, which is great for a nigger who has too much time but who doesn't know how to schedule it properly. If you keep at it, you'll progress fairly quickly, and you'll be able to unlock pretty much everything you need eventually. You need to progress though if you want to stand a chance, because your aircraft's ability to withstand and deal damage is heavily reliant on the amount of and type of gear you've got equipped. It's a grindfest, but that's to be expected with a free to play title.

It's not bad, but only if you enjoy Ace Combat and you've got a lot of time to dedicate to it.

Playing Shadow Madness. It's sort of like a really weird combination of a poor mans Final Fantasy, yet filled with a sort of genuine passion to create something of their own. It has its moments; both creepy and humorous, though its usually hit and miss.

Some nifty gimmicks, though the economy of the game is fucked; inventory/status management is awkward, and equipment enchantment upgrades are nearly useless.

This game is surprisingly good. Enemy variety is fine, and the bosses are solid. The "Everyone is a glass cannon" (except for the bosses) and item system really works well.

If you hit Lubella enough, does her clothing come off? Can I see the witch of decay naked?

i was never really comfortable with attempts at realism in the days of low poly. it could end up being passable but it never looked "good" unless you went for something more cartoonish

i hope her pussy isnt as messed up as her lips

GTA San Andreas.
Garry's Mod.
Delta Force 2
Half Life Blue Shift

I think that's supposed to be her teeth… Either way, I wouldn't let her blow me.

A couple of things.
I think my GPU might be melting.

oh teeth? no problem. you wouldnt even have to make it past her teeth with how big she is, or she could just use her tongue.

Unless her tongue is flayed and broken into 3 or more sharp barbs, then fuck that.

Pic related. I don't know what it is about Skullgirls but it's the first fighter I actually feel decent at. I can consistently execute specials/blockbusters, I can throw together combos with ease and i'm finding myself learning new stuff every time I play.

I think i'm going to be playing this for a long time, it's great fun.

Too busy working overtime and doing fuckloads of research to play much
Recently Dungeon Souls added a new character which is a shitty nigger character with fucked animations and his death pose is literally him laying down in the walking pose
Also apparently overwatch is getting a middle eastern nig, another one that is
Funny how she looks like the turbodyke snowflake from Battleborn

not even, overwatch hosts a slew of problems but anas design is pretty strong, and she's not too brown that the devs are afraid to give her a personality (like lucio and symetra)

aside from the grayed hair i don't see how you draw the parallel, the shots you use show a completely different energy between the characters

except how shes old

She has four skins under epics that are her during her younger years, two of them before she lost her eye to Widowmaker, and two of them from when she was a Wastelands agent of Overwatch.

A shame she doesn't have a hijab skin, instead she mugged a hobo for that getup

i bet she keeps the granny voice

Can we talk about actual videogames now?

actually i'll keep talking now that i look at those two images more and get reminded at how terrible battleborns designs are, the battleborn character you show has a 2tone mowhawk, heterochromia, every article of clothing they have is studded and they sport piercings, the gun has a motorcycle exhaust pipe as a fucking muzzle brake and the arm blade is neon green nonsense, what role does this character play and how do they function? you can by no means make that conclusion by just looking at them. say what you will of overwatch and i will likely agree but anas design is simple, you can tell from a glance at ana that she's a mid to long range player who relied on staying unseen due to the hooded outfit and sniper rifle (although at a glance who knows how that thing functions, but not as ridiculous as the battleborn characters)

old people are a gimmick in overwatch that i myself honestly enjoy, soldier 76 and reinhart are old fucks from the early days of the overwatch lore and ana worked with them (her daughter being one of the preexisting characters) mercy, reaper and widowmaker are on the older side to but their age isn't as apparent due to wacky lore reason

i'd like to not that even though i love the design point of an eyepatch that it is overused in overwatch, torb has one, reinhart is missing an eye, ana is missing an eye, and soldier 76 is implied to have damage to at least one eye

i can't confirm but they do change some lines for skins in that game, hanzos mongolian themed skins changes the gook war cry line for his ultimate, and reapers mariachi skin adds a pre-match line with a hammy mexican accent. i doubt blizz would pay for another voice actor to do all anas young skin lines though

They look like turd vultures

they act like one too

I didn't know that either of those two characters had ocular damage.

I'm also not a lore fag, so I didn't know this either.

Either way, look at the source of the "lore" of this game. It's Chris. Fucking. Metzen. The guy wrote 3 expansions with the same explanation every time: DA OLD GODS DID IT (4 if you count Ulduar)! And the next expansion is looking like it's going to be another old gods expansion.

The guy is about as clever and original as a potato.

not until you post one :^)

okay okay. has anyone been keeping up with mystery chronicles: one way heroics? id honestly never heard of mystery chronicles until this point. but i absolutely love one way heroics.
look at this blushing dog, isnt it ridiculous?

torbs right eye is patched (in character art showing his younger self both eyes are intact), reins left eye is seen fucked up in his alt outfits , you don't see 76 unmasked but in one video you see a slight shot of him without his mask and there's a scar running from his lip towards his right eye, and he seems to rely on his visor

i know, this games lore has potential to be fun but metzin and blizzard will completely fucking botch it

i get a kick out of seeing old heroes working with the new ones which overwatch tickles a little bit, but don't think i'm praising it to high heaven here, its simple and thin at the end of the day lmao like the game even if i can play it for a laugh

>they actually REHASHED Illidan again in the last expansion to be a chosen child of light
Well at least that's the opposite of corruption but that's such a hack move from Metzen, how can you take this shit without cringing?

I've posted 7, lover :^)

I quit WoW before Pandaria because of this shit.
Post more Yuno Gasai.

Yeah, pretty much why I hesitate to buy the game even now.

i bought it, (literally the only game i've ever bought from blizz) i play it often, but if you don't have some buddies to play with don't fucking touch it.

if you have buddies its a great game for some good banter and you'll perform well and feel satisfied with your plays with a little bit of coordination, but without some amigos its not worth your time.

i want to fuck glory

Oh yeah, I have lots of friends who play it. I would have bough it at launch but I was still paying off my debts for shit. Anyway when I get paid I'm going to buy a powerline so if I have enough money to see me through til the month afterward then I'll consider getting it this month, otherwise it'll have to wait til August. The part that annoys me the most is the car insurance payment, if I didn't need a car I'd wipe it off my list of things I pay for.

Me too.

it won't kill you to hold off on purchasing it, if your buddies are still playing it when you have the expendable funds then you're in the clear, if they all drop it by that time then you lose nothing.

i honestly enjoy the game but i won't pretend that it isn't a blizzard gamble and a very simple game

good taste but she liked girls

Been jumping between various The King of Fighters games to get ready for KoF XIV, I'm ridiculously hyped for it. KoF 98 UM is probably my favorite of the series.

please have good netcode, KOF14

i'm bummed vanessa and yamazaki aren't back, but i still got a ton of characters i like in, like my favorite; terry, the fantastic team mexico, and ralf/clark

well. fuck me. alcohol says that he can't fucking reach it to burn it and i don't know what to try to make it run

Witcher 3.

I haven't been this comfy in a game in years. I wish I had bought it earlier but at least all the DLC is out now.

I might even actually buy it when I stop being a poorfag

Geralt being popular with the ladies is the least believable thing about that whole fucking series, I'd put that above all of the high fantasy creatures in the game, a mutant like that getting pussy right left and center when he's got the sociability and charisma of a rock.

La Mulana.
It's great but I have no idea where to go now.

Witcher mutations gave him some pheromone bullshit that makes the ladies lust after his pork sword for slaying pussy.

you know witcher is primarly a long-winded self-insert fapfic of an alcoholic loser pollack, right? hence the shitty writing and horrible characters and beyond down-syndrome retarded plot.

It all makes sense now.

Having trouble acquiring this game. Where did you get it?

Such as? Fag

Digital Devil Saga 2

But the story continues bretty gud despite there being a complete change of scenery.

I'm just grindan away in fantasy life, raising gathering and crafting life's levels.

Nigga what? It was pretty popular where i live, we often alternated between this and mcgee's alice (the first)

Literally git gud.
It wasn't that much of a problem at all for me, i enjoyed it really much, you should be able to get accosutmed to things like that halfway through.

I would recommend 1, or other hack and slash stuff like din's curse.

I've been playing loadsa Prison Architect recently. Just earlier today I had the first execution that actually went through.

Hit me right in the feels too. Only witnesses that showed up were his mum, wife and the mother of one of his victims.

The whole execution scene is pretty well made with the ambient background music and such. But it's a whole production so I doubt it's going to be as effective after the first one.

Grim Dawn.

A fun return to when Diablo-style ARPGs were actually good. The story(at least so far) doesn't have any bullshit from what I've played. You're a guy who uses iron and magic to purge the world of faggot ghosts who want to fuck over mankind.

Planetside 2

Muramasa Rebirth. Beat all the endings except one. Can't be arsed to play it on 1-hit death mode.

This shit's fun as balls, but man the difficulty spikes are always sudden and unexpected. One second I'm king of the world, 1shotting niggas and regening through any hit I take with 2h sword man-made build, next second I'm doing 2 damage and getting one-shot by some boss nigger I ran into in a dungeon.
Fun shit. The star sign stuff is dumb, though; much rather PoE's passive tree there.

Fuck phones. *man-mode

System Shock: it's pretty good but I have a couple of gripes with some of the mechanics.

Bloodborne is fucking cool and Doll is my waifu.

I don't know what to play anymore. I've become disillusioned towards all of the multiplayer games that I used to like, and I've already played the fuck out of the singleplayer games that I like. I could play some more quality singleplayer games, but I'm getting sick of playing against AI.

Playing multiplayer games in Australia is suffering.

Actually, Cairn is just another Aetherial vs Ch'thonic battleground, and both sides see humans as nothing but pawns.
Kinda faggy to know that, but investing so many hours into stuff makes me overthink it.
Like, I actually went as far as to assume that humanity's involvement in the battle between soul-based, calculating Aetherials and body-based, impulsive Ch'thonians is a metaphor for humanity's eternal struggle between mind and flesh.

Lad, did you even get to any of the Tier 3 constellations?
Empowering your skills to make them summon meteor showers is some of the best shit in the game.

Yeah, right now my main attack summons some faggy falcons and leeches life, but I just hate how it's laid out. Nothing feels like its placed with meaning, just thrown where the fuck ever, so it takes a fucking hour of reading every single constellation to figure out which is use full to me.

Europa Universalis III

GTA IV.
I´ve never played a GTA before and it´s fucking great.
I like Nico as a Person, he doesn´t smoke or drink and seems pretty based.
Better than the niggers in San Andreas I imagine.

Yeah, I'll give you that one.
It's nice on the eyes, but a bitch to make sense of at first.

The meta is to figure out the best Tier 3 constellations for you based on your damage type and pick the right lower tier constellations to gather the required points and generally make you stronger.
For fire, you go for Ulzuin's torch.
For cold, you go for Leviathan.
For lightning/aether, you go for Spear of the Heavens.
For chaos/poison, you go for Abomination.
etc.
Just look at the constellations at the edges(the ones that don't give any points), find the one that suits you best and go for it.

Oh man, this brings back memories about the q3-engine era games. And yeah, the game Is pretty lewd. Her uniform gets torn as she progresses thru a level (not dynamic tho). After it gets pretty beat up she'll switch to a new one, which is usually more revealing then the previous one.

You know I understood the story perfectly, and that the whole thing was a waste of time in the end because the twins are the real split of the time line sand there is actually four splits and you only affect two.

I tried playing through Risen 1 and 2 but that combat and the leveling system fuck with me, plus I'm just not getting engaged. Also tried playing Onechanbara and Senran Kagura but I'm a crusty old PCfag and controllers just don't sit right with me. I have done nothing but waste my time on dota 2 since.

Either I'm growing out of videogames or shit is just so boring these days. I really want a fast-paced actiony game that's on PC and doesn't suck balls but apparently that's too much to ask. I guess I'll just have to make my own videogames.

Dragon's Dogma.

Or lay off the vidya for a while.
Spend a week or two reading books/VNs or watching movies/anime, whatever you like, and it's likely you'd enjoy vidya again.

I tried playing Max Payne 3 recently and was met with a glitch where the game keeps fucking pausing out of nowhere. It's even the steam version (i bought it when it was on sale for like $5).

Sad thing is I've played through a pirated version just fine before. It can apparently be fixed by using a crack, but I just said fuck it and uninstalled. Pretty sure I've had the game too long to get a refund too.

Played and beaten Dragon's Dogma. It was pretty good, even though it gets a bit repetitive.

I do watch a lot of anime these days, probably more than I play videogames. Somehow that makes videogames even less appealing, when I picture videogames inspired by anime and realize they don't actually exist.

I can't fucking kill Tsorig in DS3.

You are not really coming off, you are just burned out user. It happens. You are just switching over to watching chinese cartoons which is more low effort than playing vidya. You'll probably take a few moths or mroe off then slowly come back to gaming, only to repeat the cycle again.

Comp TF2 is pretty good. Been playin and lovin AGR Team Fortress and being sad only about 10 people at max ever play it. Playing again tonight. Replayed Rocket Knight Adventures. God tier fucking game. I wanna try Overmeme but I need to get some new computer parts. Playing Sonic 3 and Knuckles again and its still one of the most well made games Ive ever played. Visited a friend in Alabama and we played Wii Goldeneye (underrated game) and Dreamcast Gauntlet Legends. Not sure if I like the N64 or Dreamcast one more but the fact its on the Dreamcast just automatically makes it a lot cooler. Elder god tier game nonetheless.

Great shit right here.

bump

overwach is as fun as tf2 at launch

the lack of modding drives me up the fucking wall

I decided to try out Asscreed III as I have never played an Asscreed game before and was handed this fucking years ago. Outside of the poor optimization and cringy as fuck Pocahontas sob story that I can only imagine that IRL Indians are tired of (rather than focusing on the actually neat shit that was the French and Indian War in a game that leads into the American revolution… what the fuck?); the gameplay itself is garbage, all actions that the player does has non-existent feedback and the movement system is makes me feel like I have all of the control of a Toyota going down hill.

I could be finishing Armored Core V instead. Yeah, it was a letdown in comparison to 4a and Last Raven, but at least it was still fun despite its flaws. With Asscreed, I'm struggling to find any real enjoyment in it, it's just so bland. How do people place this yearly?

I've recently been getting back into Splatoon to prepare for the final Splatfest. Been playing a lot of that recently.

Controls at first were weird but i love how intuitive they get once you get the hand of them

This game is a 10/10 for me. Perfect music atmosphere and great art. Brilliance.

Not into MMOs much but I was very surprised how fun this game is. Already spent around 12+ hours into it.

Played through undead settlement. Have finished the game twice.
My thoughts: What's the point of Souls games anymore?

Witcher 3:
Played through to the start of Novigrad. Had finished the game before.
Thoughts: It's too easy on the hardest difficulty. And it's not keeping me amused the second time through.

MGSV:
Played through to after the mission where you recapture a platform at mother base. This is the farthest I have gone.
Thoughts: Good gameplay. Good voice acting and cutscenes. Never played any previous games so can't say anything about story.

League of Legends:
Played some matches
Thoughts: How is this game not dead yet?

Dota 2
Played some matches
Thoughts: This is much better than LoL

Vindictus:
Played a few quests
Thoughts: Too easy and grindy

Mabinogi:
Played for 2 minutes, first time
Thoughts: awful controls, combat would be ok if it wasn't for this. Graphics are ok.

CSGO:
Played some deathmatch
Thoughts: It's good. I just don't care enough because there wasn't a story mode to make me care.

Maplestory
Got to level 130 on a new character
Thoughts: Less grindy but nothing you do is amusing in the slightest. Its just good-ish art which doesn't last long.

Give it a 40K paintjob and this would be the Imperial Guard game

Dark Messiah. Fun game, just wish it was longer and had more enemy variety.

lol this nerd got confused while trying to self insert

Amazing fun in short bursts. The gunplay and combat itself is pretty simple, most of the challenge and fun in the game comes from the movement system.

I agree with you here. Fun idea for a game, let down by poor level design and checkpoint placement. Where it's good, it's great. Where it's frustrating though, it's horrible. Doesn't help either that the aesthetic and theming is just dull.

...

I've made it thru the first 3 levels of Super Ghouls and Ghosts with no continues. I'll 1cc it all someday.

Soul Calibur for the Dreamcast. Been trying to git gud with Yoshimitsu again, since I hadn't played for awhile, and I'm a bit rusty.

All I do anymore is smoke weed, drink coffee, and grind Melee. Please help.

Been practicing Just Defend in the KoF XIV demo figuring out combos with the new characters. I'm too excited for the new game now

Started playing my first Pokémon game (LeafGreen) like 3 days ago and it's pretty fun and comfy.

I bet I would've enjoyed it a lot more as a kid though.

Fire Emblem: Rekka No Ken. Playing it for the first time and on chapter 22. Why is Hector so good at killing things? He's already level 20.

Still haven't finished that Blood & Wine expansion for The Witcher 3

Team Fortress 2 Classic

Just finished La Mulana and my fifth conquering of Mount And Blade's Calderia. I need mods for that game.

La Mulana is great but man oh man Hell Temple is the biggest fuck you I've ever seen in a video game

EDF 4.1 came out.

I've been playing the shit outta that, I just need more people to play with and all my friends are too cheap to buy it

The original Fable. Overall pretty comfy.

DMC3 on very hard mode. Its really fun, though I've been a bit torn between playing a new game on yellow or a NG+ on gold. Still fucking great though.

Pokemon will never have a meaningful single-player experience.
Sun&Moon will be okay but ultimately fail to deliver any sort of fulfilling adventure that other RPGs can provide.
It'll sell a shit ton because it's Pokemon and it seems to be pandering to the competitive scene, though.
Having said that, at least 75% of the new pokemon are going to be unviable and at least 10% of them are going to be banned for being too powerful.
If the generation introduces 100 pokemon then you'd be lucky for 15 of them to have even niche uses.

nice, I like her the way her wizard sleeves flap.

Been replaying some Saints Row 2 recently, it really bugs me the direction the series went with 3 onwards. With 4 they basically went out of their way to kill any potential of doing semi-grounded gangster stuff ever again.

I beat KOTOR for the first time last week, actually.

Also holy shit, you can do that? I need to start up my dark side run asap

Just replaying ZX Advent. It's okay. Not as open as ZX1, and the VA is shit. Fun, though.

I bought TL1 during the (((steam))) sale, I'm going to play it but I have a huge backlog and several games I've already started.

Thanks to the anons that shilled hotline miami 1 & 2 though it made my fingers hurt and broke my controller it was worth it. Also wierd history.

I was wondering, is there an actual good game in which you're an Inquisitor? You know the real stuff, you go there, you see if everything's alright, if not, well you do your jobs.
You got a lot of games using Inquisition as a title or lore element but you can't be some random inquisitor.

Sad!

Dropped it just a few hours in, wasn't enthusiastic about any part of the game. Combat's repetitive, drifting is so unwieldy that you're better off not using it and just avoiding attacks by sidestepping them.

I was afraid I would have been spoiled by the later games, but it's pretty neat.

Does it get better? I'm two investigations deep and there has been some seriously skewed logic involved in the trials. Clubbed to death with a swimsuit filled with gravel? There wasn't even any blood on the swimsuit.

I had to get a refund, because it doesn't support my monitor's resolution.

Fucking liberal bait and switch, contact your countries consumer protection board if you have the balls to ask for genocide.

running around in small ass maps, gunplay is mediocre as fuck

Just got to Sector B in Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

this is my first megaten game
if this is what the rest of the series is i've fallen in love

etrian odyssey 2, it seems i'm about to beat the first stratum
+almost all the classes are unlocked from the start
+new signs for the map, like arrows to mark a FOEs walking pattern and signs to tell apart mine, take and chop areas
+boost is now a limit break with an unique skill for each class
+the custom screen tells you how many points you have to spend on this skill to unlock this other skill
+you have a place to store your items for later
-FOEs dont give exp, only items so theres slightly less reward in killing them
+-venomflies

...

Tried Starbound 1.0
It's still as shitty as when it came out. Nothing changed.

This is why you live.

fo4: boring as fuck, no lore, too much 1950's jingoism, needs more grit

Forza 6: good, needs less shit cars and more Le Mans prototypes and GT racers. Could use an entire Formula 1 expansion given how awesome the F1 cars are in game. Really fun game.

Witcher 3: great lore, combat was mediocre and the leveling system is fucking broken. weapons and armor are meaningless with this broken ass leveling system, but great lore.

I also played new vegas recently

I was in the process of researching and downloading a mod that would let me craft more than 100 bullit but have to go to work now
