Plumbots (Though i expect they would go PLUMBORG or something stupid as that rather then re-use the cool build-a-bot thing), i actually liked Werewolves in Sims 3 too since they weren't that fucking pet reliant, and were a fairly easy to handle life state (No Major Meter changes, just a +30 mood whenever you want) without any drawback unless you have "Hates Supernatural" as a trait and MUCH less annoying then Vampires and you could CAS so you could look just as good (or possibly better) when transformed, oh and you could just make one in CAS too, letting you bypass needing to do boring shit.

Im expecting Vampires though.

Mods are really small, if you only install a few good expansions it'll take like 10-15GB at most.

The expansions will use the most space, but for me with seasons, generations, university and late night installed, it takes up about 17gigs.

Comparatively Sims 3 was always somewhat better then Sims 2 at the same amount of expansions with the exact tipping point of when Sims 3 surpasses Sims 2 varying, usually due what rig you have, I played Sims 2 with all expansions over 3 up until University because i was on a toaster so the bloating made Sims 3 near unplayable at high expansion counts, once i got a better rig and could viably play Sims 3 with all shit i toned down the 2 playing, though is till miss features from it.

And Sims 2 was just plain better then 1 with all expansions from day 1 because it added something vital with proper aging and a number of base QoL additions, and Sims 2 Vanilla is better then 4 Vanilla too, so there is that.

How does Sims 1 hold up against Sims 4 if the latter has trouble competing with the second game? Keeping in mind that the first game has some fairly noteworthy limitations?

Gameplay wise, TS4 is closest to TS Social and the Android version of TS3.

I would rather play TS1. It sucks for simming, too. But, at least it has some fun minigames and gameplay goals. While TS4 just has mindless grind without real rewards.

Like even if you shit away money so your family starts with 0 Simoleons like legacyfag it is fully possible and easy to get enough to build a viable house within a couple of days.

Shit like Gardening means you can effectively make a Orchard call a Gardener and make a grand a day as long as you go and "Harvest All" once a day (more then enough to buy necessities), with the profit rising as the quality rises.

And even without that the surroundings have enough gathering points to generate a good amount of money every day, so you don't even NEED to get a fucking job if you just gather (which takes up a sliver of the time a job takes.)

And yeah, sims 3 had that shit too, but was spread out over a MUCH larger area and was WAAAY less profitable unless you hit a motherlode with something rare.

Sims 1 was actually pretty challenging in comparison even "normally" and didn't really "break" until the expansions came around, sure you always had "Infinite Time" to accomplish your goals due no aging, but it also was much much easier for sims to die due negligence too.

Aging is basically the ONLY thing 4 has over 1.

I miss the old Sims 1 modding scene. Going back in the day again but there was a lot of interesting shit floating around for that game back about 10-15 years ago.

TS1 is the only most challenging game in the series. Otherwise the most easiest for me was 3, even when it was vanilla I could get shitton of money without any problem, you don't even have to work either to become very rich and it's easy to build relationship with people.

The Sims 2 is quite easy too. Since I'm stuck with shitty laptop with one of the most horrible GPU which is Intel HD Graphics, I have no choice but to play The Sims 2 right now and guess what, I became rich very fast. I think it took me 2 in-game weeks to get shitton of money by gaming career alone and boy how cheap things are in TS2 while salary is higher than in TS4, even taxes are low compared to TS4. I maxed every skill pretty fast too.

TS4 was probably the second challenging Sims game for me, however it becomes a piece of cake when you pick at least Energy trait. Also, you can become rich just by gardening if you pick that gardening trait too. It takes a lot of hours to garden without it.

TS1 is the best The Sims game just because of GDI and Nod outfits alone anyway, too bad EA don't give a fuck about C&C anymore, TS4 doesn't even have Tiberium element
