I don't own a TV, but sometimes when I'm over at my parent's house I watch movies or documentaries on my sister's Netflix account.Last year I started watching House of Cards and I really enjoyed the first two seasons. I liked Frank as a character. I liked his sophisticated Savannah accent and his ruthless pragmatism. In the first few episodes he even calls ADL to have them go on TV and say his rival is an anti-semite to get his to step down.

I assume the same characteristics also appealed to a lot of other like minded people and the writers knew it so they had to take Frank away from us. They made him a bi-sexual and by the end of the 4th season a cuckold. He let's his wife fuck another man because he "cannot provide you with everything". I honestly believe this was influenced by us pushing the cuckservative meme into mainstream media. In the 4th season there's also a few other moments that refer to Trump. There's one nigger from an activist organization telling the press how it's not okay to ban certain people from entering the country or to create a database of all muslims. Then there's a moment where Frank and the Republican nominee are speaking in front of the press and Frank says "the business of politics trumps running for it" meaning that politics itself is more important than running for office so he has to leave the press and go do his job. Obviously the same sentence can mean "the business of politics. Trump's running for it."

Seasons 1 and 2 were good. Season 3 was really bland. In season 4 they realized it and tried to step up the machiavelli aspect, but they also introduced a lot of political commentary about real world politics and now with Trump as president I know season 5 is going to be pure kvetching and strawman burning. I most likely won't even watch it.
