I unlocked it real early and it's been staring at me for about three different arcs so I guess I was just really looking forward to it. It was still pretty funny but the wait had me expecting more. Please tell me I get to use the Shas when the next dimension kicks in.

Eh, I had a similar experience with finding the dungeon very early and only being able to go to it way later, but I didn't exactly have expectations I suppose so I took it for what it was as a silly extra thing included for a laugh.

I really should try to get Noire to join me. I always have very little conscious control over my dreams though, maybe it will work if I think about Noire enough. Not sure if I should attempt to get conscious control over my dreams, I really like how your subconscious just generates a setting and story like that and you play in it. I'd say it's pretty short. If you know what you're doing you can end some of the missions really quickly. The story is mostly cute fluff with some jokes about the clothes-tearing mechanic.

Granted I'd estimate that about 75% of the content is still in Japanese, but that also a barrier that can be overcome.

Uzume's dub voice is remarkably good. Compa's has always been better than the Japanese option, a rarity.

I would use the dub, but since so little of the game is dubbed in English, I am forced to use the Japanese voices. I emailed IFI about it, so maybe they'll put more effort in the next mainline game since my opinion is so valuable after all.

Before I forget, yeah Uzume's english dub is really good and I too don't really mind the english cast either. I only say that because at times the Jap voices sound like screeching harpies and that grates me when they do that. No spoiler because I'm not afraid of Nep bullies, after all the only thing they can do is post more Neps so bully away.

Some characters in the dub are awful, but the same is true for the Japanese version. I can't stand Compa in Japanese but her English dub is amazing.
I think Uzume is fantastic in both (though Orange Heart in Japanese is a bit harpy-ish at times, I can agree to that).
Another thing about the Japanese dub is why does Uni sound so much older than Noire when she transforms?
And English dub Nepgear in Mk2 is better than Yui Horie (which is borderline blasphemy), but only for Mk2. The only reason I can say that is because her English VA was inexperienced and sounded a bit amateurish in the game. But considering how Mk2 was Nepgear's coming of age game and how she lacked confidence for most the game, that amateur voice acting was actually perfect for her. Now, Yui Horie is probably better than the English VA, though they are both still fantastic.

The amount of points characters that aren't Neptune get are almost completely random in these. Region locking a poll and running it multiple times is not a way to get conclusive results.

Considering how the Director has even forgotten her name, she might not be.

It seems to be because of how Japanese fans evaluate their favorite characters in the series.

The only characters that consistently do well in these polls are Neptune, Noire, Blanc and Nepgear, and the reason for that is that these four characters have the best mixture of limelight + popular fetish appeal.

For instance, Vert gets a lot of limelight, but usually trails the other top goddesses with Japanese fans because her fetish appeal of being an older, curvier ara ara~ type girl isn't nearly as popular as it used to be. She does all right, but not nearly as well as she should given her importance to the series.

Now if we look at Plutia, we see that she's only been a prominent character in one game, and her primary fetish is being a sadistic dominatrix which is considered a niche interest even in the west.

Makers and other side characters always get slaughtered in the polls.

IF and Compa tend to do all right, but it's always heart-rending to see how badly the others do each time. They just don't stand a chance of getting more than a couple of votes at most compared to the main CPUs.

If CPUs and makers were put in two separate polls, it would probably give a better indication of popularity for them. There's just no point running them against CPUs.

It's basically the equivalent of making a Super Mario character popularity poll, and Mario topping the polls.

Also, since this is a Tsunako poll, they might only have IF and Compa as Makers. Don't know what all goes into the Copyright laws in Japan, but I'm pretty sure the companies that have maker versions of themselves have the rights of those makers. Since it's a Tsunako poll and not a CH poll, they might not have the right to put them in the poll.
Though, honestly, they'd probably not do well anyway. Also, Compa didn't even get in top 20 last poll. And the time before that, she got 18th.

Weird. I'm using an A8-6510 APU and it runs fine. FPS is a little lower then I'd like (High 20s/Low 30s) but it's playable.

Which settings do you use for the game ? There might be something I overlooked.

I run it in windowed mode at a lower resolution, like, 540p or so. I find full screen makes it act a bit screwy.

Other then that, can't remember them off hand.

His card doesn't even fully support dx9 though. I doubt anything would work.

V-II's PC port has a couple of missing assets because who knows why.

Correct, a few monsters are missing their models and shouldn't be the case cause the PS4 version of the game has it.

Actually that one is probably not the fault of beta testers. I only ever got into the R;B2 beta but they locked that down to the first two chapters of the game after a short bit. It's probably been the same for following betas. Kind of dumb to do that though, since that leaves a lot open for problems past "can you run it and does it cause everything to catch on fire".

Then testing is not properly done, which is even worse cause the company itself is not allowing people to go through the entire thing and see if anything isn't working as intended.

Sleep tight. I usually take minor breaks, but apart from those I can easily play Nep games all day long, and have done so multiple times.

When I played RB;2 last summer I played from the early morning all the way into the night.

I remember playing Nep U for about 11 hours straight and I promise you it had nothing to do with stripping on purpose.

What's the recommended level for those DLC dungeons in Re;Birth1? Everything in the Haneda Forest is essentially invincible.

Alright. We went over a few spot changes for RB3RT last night. Basically I can release it any time, although as of right now it primarily covers the main game only, not a lot of the after-game events or Maker side-scenes (since those were all "DLC") were retranslated…although those all at least have been purged of "Nep Jr" if nothing else.

My only hesitation is if I should delay the release until those parts are fully addressed, or just do rolling patches after release. Or alternately release the patch as a sub v1.0 for now but at least get the main game out there. That's all up in the air.

Either way, I still have to organize the distribution of it, so I think the earliest anyone will see anything will be next thread.

Lack of budget meant the first few games were pretty rough around the edges. But that's improved. The latest game, Neptunia VII is a pretty solid JRPG.

I did finish it in my previous run, I think its impossible to finish the Nepupupu before true end route because of the monsters you need to kill. Also at the rate I progressing I probably will have to post where to get the 4GO scene in the next thread.

I don't think it's impossible. I'm in true ending post game and I'm still able to make progress in that quest, although I haven't finished it
