Pokestops and Gyms are reused straight from Ingress. If I'm not mistaken, people just go and make them. Then amount of traffic impacts importance of the node, big nodes reused as gyms and shit and smaller ones reused as pokestops.

Why is your starter Pokémon entirely forgotten because the only way to level them up is through catching duplicates and selling them for soylent green? Why is the character customization shit? They released the game too early because they wanted to capitalize on the normalfag audience ASAP. The game is still in a unfinished beta phase. Regardless however normalfags are still eating up a Pokemon game designed for socializing with others where you can't even trade.

If it counts, the Physical/Special Split in Gen IV did a lot to make certain Pokemon more viable that didn't benefit much from their typing compared to their stats before.

All the people I've met while playing this have been cool as shit. An asian guy stopped me in the street, we talked for a while then went for a pint and we talked about pokemon for like an hour in a pub that had a lure set by someone else.

i live in a small town in canada, which is why I'm doubly shocked at how shitty literally every single player here is. your normal person will politely greet you and at the very least will pretend to be nice, and the pokemon go autists are genuinely hostile
